Once we were seated the service was decent and the people circulating with the food were lovely. However, the process of getting seated was very chaotic, there was no dedicated bartender and getting a drink while I was waiting took over 15 minutes. The grilled pineapple was very good.
Thank you for your rating Brazil Grill 5 stars. We hope to reopen soon, and welcome you back. We do appreciate your patronage.
The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Meat kept coming for as long as we could. Started off doing the Portland dining month deal but switched midway through the meal to the full dinner. Everything was cooked to our liking even though I requested medium rare and my girlfriend likes well done. They were gracious to accommodate us both. Will definitely be coming back.
Thank you. We appreciate your business.
Knock off Fogo de Chao that costs the same. Tiny salad bar, 6 hot items, and not as much meat service as one would expect. The ambiance is HORRID. In an almost empty restaurant, a loud group was sat right next to us. And in a time of Coronavirus, I watched patrons return to the salad bar with their dirty plates (rather than getting a clean one). I will never return. What a waste of Portland Dining Month.
4 of us went here for dinner during Portland Dining Month. We had been to the "other" Brazilian restaurant (similar) and wanted to compare. The Wait staff was friendly, and the food was good. Selection was less than the "other" place, and we were supposed to have been offered 6 different cuts of meat. We were only offered 4, and had to ask for the beef. There should have been two different cuts of beef, but we were only offered one. We were offered glazed pineapple instead. Also, the meatballs were not on the warm buffet as advertised. When we originally asked about bread, our wait person made it sound like that was extra, only to discover later from the Manager that we had entirely missed the first course. (Polenta, Empanada and bread). It was never offered, but we did request to try everything before we left, enabling us to make a complete comparison. Overall, the experience was ok, but not quite as good as the "other" Brazilian restaurant.
Family dinner for 3 kids and 2 adults. Enjoyed the food. Great experience and will return the next time we in Portland.
Thank you for your kind words about Brazil Grill. We appreciate your business.
It was so exciting that the delicious meat kept coming until you flipped the disk and said NO MORE! Such a fun experience!
Thank you for sharing your dining experience at Brazil Grill. We appreciate your business.
we chose this restaurant for a birthday celebration and it was perfect! the food was amazing and our teenagers were so satisfied which is the biggest win of all! the food was perfect and regularly being brought to us, service was stellar and we will absolutely be coming back!
Thank you for rating Brazil Grill 5 stars. Please come back soon.
The meat was bland and overcooked except the pork that was raw.
The sides were limited with the only warm sides consisting of carbs. Waited a very long time for options to come to the table and we were disappointed when it did. The linguica was greasy and lacked flavor, mustard steak was just coated in frenches and mustard was all you could taste. Went here due to Fogo de Chao having no options...mistake!
We came to Brazil Grill during Portland Dining Month and were very excited to try it out. When we were seated we asked about the PDM menu and what options were available to us. The waiter stumbled for a moment and said "I'll be right back." We sat there for a few moments before they came back and said "Okay, we can do that." We enjoyed our meal but the meats seemed dry. The pineapple was DELICIOUS! Just wish they were more prepared for the PDM customers with menus available. We overheard several other tables asking for the PDM menu as well, so we were not the only ones.
The food is amazing!!! Passion fruit mousse is beyond awesome!! I will always get this for dessert!!!!
Thank you for sharing your dining experience at Brazil Grill. Please come back soon.
We selected this restaurant for our Portland Dining Month experience Admittedly we should have been more discerning when viewing menus, however the concept seemed unsuited for this location. Food wasn’t exceptional or were the service staff dialed into describing the selections available. We accept responsibility for our decision but recommend this restaurant not participate in PDM in the future
The pineapple is amazing!
The pork tenderloin was great & the bacon wrapped chicken too.
I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time and finally decided to take advantage of the Portland Dining Month event. Sadly, the food was not what I expected. All of the meat we were given was dry - with the exception of the tri-tip steak which was bloody but very chewy. We were disappointed with the food but the wait staff was attentive and pleasant.
We went as part of the Portland Dining experience in March. For $33 I suppose we got our money's worth, but weren't able to sample all the meat options. The salad bar is generous. The meat a little on the skimpy side, most of it overcooked, and only one of the wait staff seemed happy to be there. The ambiance was ... meh. We won't be going there next year in search of a keto dining experience in Portland.
Once we started our dinner, food was delicious, service was great, and enjoyable! The servers were helpful and delightful. We can't wait to go back!
Thank you for rating Brazil Grill 5 stars. We hope to see you back pretty soon.
I tried this place for the first time, my wife and I and we were very impressed. It’s a smaller place with a little less meat options then the more known Brazilian steakhouses but everything was amazing. I’d recommend and would definitely return. 5 stars for sure!
We are happy to know you had a good dining experience at Brazil Grill. We do appreciate your patronage.
Its was great
There service was slow and there was only a few meats that come out, witch was caramelize pineapple, lamb, honey ham, Bacon wrapped chicken and picanha. This was my first time here and It was not great. I thought they would have more meat come out I was told they have a shrimp that was good and to try it but they didn’t bring that out, we had to ask for it because it only come out by request per person. Same thing happened with there bread polenta. I would honestly go and to Fogo de Chao for better food and experience oh and fogo has a better salad bar too. This is my review of the place I don’t want a coupon or anything from them to be honest. I can say I’ve tried it here and I won’t be going back
Amazing staff. Food is mind blowing. This is a must try restaurant
Great experience! Friendly and attentive service from all the staff. Meats were cooked and seasoned to perfection and the pineapple is one of my favorite things ever!!! Can't wait to go back!
Bill, thank you for rating Brazil Grill 5 stars. We do appreciate your business
Great Mid-Week Special, definitely worth the value. Another amazing time at Brazil Grill.
Matthew, thank you for rating Brazil Grill 5 stars. Please come back soon.
Table service was very very slow. We always run out of food and have to wait. Food taste bland and either under cooked or over. Worse brazilian restaurant that we have been. Everyone seems to be nice and treated us well. The bad review is mainly on the food. Value wise, the manager let us use 2 yelp certificates (thank you) but honestly after the 18% mandatory tip, it still cost us $200 for 4 adults and 1 child with no drinks or dessert ordered. If the food was good and service is just a little bit slow than usual (Sunday at 4:30 PM...not even super busy) it would have been okay since we are not in a hurry at all and can always use the break. Ah just keeping going back to the food. Garlic steak and Picanhha is worse of all what we have tasted in the past. Chicken and pork is okay but we came mainly for the beef.
We brought a couple who were newbies. We all had a wonderful evening.
We are happy to know that you had a good dinner experience at Brazil Grill. We appreciate your business.
Excellent service and delicious food. Very recommend for any occasion.
Thank you for your kind words about Brazil Grill. Please come back soon.
The good: The food was delicious. I've been to different Brazilian steakhouses and this one was equally as good.
The bad: Some of the waiters were quite rude and short with us, bad enough that it ruined the experience for us.
Always delicious food and excellent service. So accommodating and wonderful restaurant. Will come back again!
Dominique, thank you very much for your kind words about your dining experience at Brazil Grill. We do appreciate your patronage.
The tables kinda suck but everything else was absolutely amazing.
Thank you for rating Brazil Grill 5 stars. Please come back soon.
Good food, attentive servers just overpriced. It’s nice to say I went but I won’t go back
Brazil Grill is one of our favorite restaurants. The buffet bar is excellent, the sides are amazing, and the meat is incredible. The staf are so friendly and helpful. If you want delicious food like nowhere else then go to Brazil Grill. If you do, make sure to try the pineapple! It is like nothing else I've eaten. Every special occasion should be at Brazil Grill.
Thank you for your kind words about Brazil Grill. Please come back soon!
Prices raised and now half the menu we used to love is gone. Last week we visited and the half the meat was seasoned perfectly the rest was so oversalted we had to spit it out. The shrimp being replaced with sub par ribs were a huge disappointment.
First time here. Surprised on the service and food. Nicely done. Better value than El Goucho.
Mike, thank you for your kind words about Brazil Grill. We appreciate your business. Please hurry back!
This is the third or fourth time I've eaten there the service is always excellent the food is always good but be careful that salad bars so delicious it could ruin your meat experience and I recommend that you go light on the salads and heavy on the meat
Thank you for rating Brazil Grill 5 stars. Thank you for your patronage. Please come back soon.
Brazil Grill has been our go to restaurant for special occasions for many years. We had an opportunity to bring a couple who hadn't been there before. They had seen my wifes facebook post's for years and it wasn't hard to twist their arms to make the drive. As usual the food and service were excellent. We are disappointed to learn one of the key meats evidently has been discontinued. The filets wrapped in bacon were one of the meats most mentioned in conversations with other patrons and really the reason our guest were the most excited to visit. Evidently the shrimp were discontinued as well as they were not offered. There are other excellent cuts however this leaves a void in the experience. I strongly recommend the restaurant for any carnivores who like premium meats. If it is your thing they also have a nice salad bar with a nice selection. People we invite often grumble about the parking, this is never a major issue. There is a small lot behind the restaurant however we always opt for the metered parking along the main streets. The few dollars spent on the meters combined with the value of the meal still makes this the go to place for us!
Thank you Jamie for your kind words about Brazil Grill. Let me clarify that we did not discontinue serving the bacon wrapped fillet and shrimp. They are available at any time, as much as you want, but you just ask for them. We had some clients who preferred the fillet without the bacon. Now we give you a choice or both, if you wish. We also added shrimp cocktail to our cold salad bar. We are honored to have you patronizing us and hope to see you back very soon. Thank you again for your business.
Celebrated our 6th anniversary and everyone was so nice and the food was so amazing
Happy Anniversary! Thank you for celebrating it at Brazil Grill.
Food was ok, some things were excellent such as the pineapple and the lamb....but overall nothing exceptional and not good enough to justify the cost. Perhaps it was because the roving meat folks seemed to continually miss our table. Our group of 4 were seated promptly per our reservation and the wait staff was friendly, although not very attentive. I had been wanting to try this place for a while, but after spending $300 on dinner for four with a couple bottles of wine I can’t think of a reason to return. Just “ok” for us....
I love, love Brazil Grill. I've been going since 2009 and I moved away several years ago, haven't been because of the distance. I absolutely adore the new ambiance and design; the food is even better. The salad bar selection is much larger and more interesting. My favorite meat is the lamb and desert is the grilled pineapple. Still in love with this place even after 10 years!
Welcome back Holly! Thank you for your support. Please come back soon.
I would recommend the Brazil Grill, but make sure you don't read the menu as they no longer provide Fillet Mignon or the Grilled Shrimp Marinated in olive oil, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, salt and pepper. I would think they would let customers know about this change, or at the very least modify the menu to reflect this.
