Always great food and service. Awesome neighborhood gem!
The food was fantastic and the staff could not have been nicer.
I chose to sit outside even though I had a reservation for inside. When it got too cold they said they could not move me inside which was quite disappointing. My initial server seemed to be in training. The service was pleasant but not as accommodating as I would have preferred. The burrata was delightful. The hangar steak was also good although more cooked than the medium rare I had ordered. I appreciated the additional bread that was provided.
Very busy getting up to speed after lockdown but great service and delicious food.
This was a new restaurant for us. That particular evening was a difficult one for the restaurant as they had problems with their ordering system which was not capturing entrees. Owner was very apologetic about that.
We were happy with the outdoor seating arrangement and the food. Indoors looked crowded for Covid conditions and most people were unmasked even when not eating.
Would like to try this restaurant again.
We had a great dinner out with our 3 year old. They have amazing outdoor seating. Food and drinks were great! We sat at a dinner table for our meal and then retired to their Adirondack chairs for after dinner drinks. They have child size seats for the kiddos and the adults can enjoy their time. They also have a fire pit and blankets for when it gets cold. So amazing!
We got there for our reservation and it was closed!!!!!! Very hard to find a last minute reservation on a Friday night. Please take off open table if you are not open!!
It's not Brazens fault, but they were closed when we showed up. Open Table & the restaurants should be more diligent about what dining programs they've signed up for while going through Covid b.s. We'll be back but sure through us for a loop with plans that night.
Great service. Great cocktails. Shared gnocchi, Brussel sprouts coconut shrimp and sweet potato fries. All delicious!.
hard to say anything negative about brazen. outstanding food with great selections. covid friendly. great service. enjoy their drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert.
A secret little local neighborhood spot that I can't recommend highly enough! Went for Happy Hour and stayed when it got dark for the s'mores. Everything we had was amazing and the atmosphere is laid back in the best way.
Menu does not match their online menu. Ordering process is strange and requires going into the restaurant even when dining outside.
It was a cool evening and there is only outdoor seating so the two hot dishes we ordered, although good, were cold in a very short period of time. Very good service although some it was self.
Best experience I've had in a long time, fabulous!
Always unique, flavor packed dishes! And friendly and professional staff - multiple servers stopped by throughout the night to see how we were doing, fill water, drinks, etc. Loved the expanded outdoor space. Felt safe and had a great time!
This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants - the food is always excellent and the staff are friendly and open and are never in a hurry. Our guests had never been there and were blown away! Highly recommend Brazen!
Always delicious and always pleasant
They’ve expanded seating into the grass next to the patio. Sitting in the grass was really nice. It felt socially distanced. They have a new quasi fast casual format which worked pretty well.
Such a great neighborhood gem. Always fresh, creative dishes and drinks to try. The staff are all friendly and helpful, almost like you are family. The vibe is relaxed, and especially so, since they took over the lawn area during Covid distancing. It's like eating in someone's backyard, no rush, and lovely/ spaced out.
Made a reservation here as it was away from downtown & we wanted to avoid crowds waiting for outdoor seating. BNE was perfect & we had little to no expectations for what was in store. Tables were really spread out on their patio (way more than 10ft) but also across some open space immediately next to the patio. We felt very safe! All employees were masked @ all times. The food was surprisingly outstanding. Dishes were served family style & we ordered the chicken, watermelon salad, brussel sprouts & the farrow succotash for two people & it was PLENTY of food. All 4 dishes had unique, balanced, excellent flavors & prepared to perfection. I live in SE Denver, my friend was coming from Arvada. Kinda out of my way but I will make the effort to return to Brazen Neighborhood Eatery as it is well worth the drive!
They are only open for takout and outdoor seating right now. They have an amazing outdoor area and are utilizing the lawn adjacent with lawn chairs and small tables to mingle safely with friends. I am missing their normal menu with muscles, duck confit and all the fun stuff they used to have for specials but our meal was good. Loved the tuna poke and the burrata salad with baby heirloom tomatoes and peaches was lovely. Will go again and they need our help to make it so please go!
Lovely ambience, lights and food. Very COVID friendly and delicioso is
Great outdoor space! They've expanded the space to comply with social distancing and all of the staff wears masks. They have a system for letting staff know when you need something to eliminate the need for frequent visits. The food is as amazing as ever!
The outdoor seating was absolutely lovely. The service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious, esp. the watermelon salad!
Loved that they have done a great job to accommodate clients in these Covid times. It was a great experience.
This was our first date night since the pandemic and brazen did not disappoint! The food was superb and they have a nice system that made us feel safe during these crazy times. The gluten free pita was very good, the watermelon salad was refreshing and the brisket was tender and delicious.
Loves it. Their covid preparedness is on point and the food is delicious.
Outdoor accommodations are wonderful! Staff was very friendly and on top of things.
Parents in town to spend time with me and my boyfriend. I already knew it was a great place, and they loved it too!
No kids menu. Food was coursed out in an odd way. Ordered Mac and Cheese for the kiddo and it came out last. Service was really good though. Staff was attentive and on the ball. Overall we have given this place a shot about once a year for the last 3 years but I think this was our last visit.
A tasty, relaxing and socially distanced meal in the sunshine. Nothing to complain about.
Good place for shared plates with friends.
First dinner out since COVID. We chose Brazen because of the outdoor seating. We felt completely safe and the food was perfection. Will definitely be back
We ate there on a Saturday for our first date night post lockdown and I thought they had a system that works! We had a reservation, which I'm not sure was needed as there were many open tables, but it's all new these days. We picked a table then ordered at the counter and that started our "service". Each table has a mason jar with hand sanitizer and a flag so if you needed anything, you put your flag up and someone would come to you. Food came out fast and was all good. Limited menu, but we liked everything we ordered.
I would say they did well and we would eventually go back, we just live very far.
Food was good and outdoor seating was nice. However, it's tough to outweigh the fact that the restaurant did not honor the reservation. Upon arriving on time, the host told us some tables been occupied by the same parties for the last 3-4 hours and they didn't know what to do about it. Most restaurants are operating under strict time limits given the circumstances so it was confusing. We we're added to a new wait list along with other walk in's without reservations, so it was frustrating.
They also seemed to be taking too much advantage of nearby park space, sprawling out more tables than they could possibly serve. Orders were taken by walking inside and then the food brought out. I know it's been tough times for restaurants, but this seemed like a very poor re-opening strategy and everyone was overwhelmed running around. Service suffered badly.
I'd guess this was a one-off experience and the food was indeed good, but I'm reviewing this one night and it was a disappointment.
The menu is very limited and for the cost you should get something else for pork al mojo de ajo or brisket.
We ordered Kale /apple salad it was too bitter .
Very expensive for food.
Accommodating and friendly staff and service good as well. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food. Fun place
A friends birthday dinner and Casey could not have been more accommodating. The food is one of the best kept secrets in the highlands/tennyson area.
Excellent atmosphere and food! Loved it!
I am hesitant to write a review because then everyone will discover this gem!
