To start the restaurant iPad were not working at time of my reservation and if would not have called our evening would have been ruined. Our party consisted of 2 families occupying 2 tables side by side. It was explained to our server who belonged with who. When we got our bill it was obvious she did not listen. The food portions were a lot to be desired considering the prices charged. The quality of food seemed to be that of a frozen dinner heated in the microwave. When in doubt go to olive garden.
We arrived a bit early for reservation to find out their system was down for reservations and we had a wait -20 min or so. Poor host, but totally fine!
Went to bar and waited about 5-10 min for a server and placed order, but in another approx 10 min we were told our table was ready but drinks not made yet. She had us order from our table server instead.
Placed in the back room , quiet but so so ambiance.
Server was very nice but all service took a really long time.
With Covid restrictions hard to tell if busy night but sure she had main room tables plus our back room.
Unfortunately my dinner just wasn’t up to the usual meal we have at Bravos. Dry chicken a bit tough, but Marsala sauce was good. Pasta just so so, so just fell a bit flat.
My husband had a pasta dish he said was okay and our friend only ate about half his meal “just okay”.
I’m sure it was just an off night , and staff were all really nice.
We were celebrating a birthday and had a party of 8. Our food was great and service awesome; servers name was Dallas. Thanks for a nice enjoyable night out!
New Years eve
Our server Mike was great and the food was excellent. One dish was served wrong but within 5 minutes it was corrected. I would recommend.
Family day
Waited 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge us though we arrived on time for the reservation. Walked past multiple tables that weren’t even cleaned up! Service was slow. Salmon was good but chicken scampioni was aweful. The pasta was dry as if it was sitting under the heat lamp for ages and chicken was chewy. Had to flag down for check. The only things that didn’t disappoint were the blue moon and the Stella Artois so the 20% tip goes to those! Hope this place gets better after Covid!
Underwhelming experience. I ordered the NY Strip and asked for medium. It was raw. Of course, I could have waited another 30 min while my family ate their meals and they brought another, but no one wants to do that, especially with little kids. Jokes on me for ordering a steak at an Italian restaurant. I didn’t realize it was such a challenge to cook to an objective temperature.
Place was not busy, but workers incredibly slow to bus/remove plates and empty glasses.
We want to get out and spend money to support restaurants during this pandemic, but we seem to have these underwhelming experiences at a lot of places. I would have rather stayed in and cooked. We can’t blame lack of effort or competence on COVID.
We appreciate your visit and apologize we did not meet your expectations. We are sharing your comments with the team. Thank you for reaching out to us.
Not busy at 6 PM on a Sunday night. No fuel in the outdoor heaters but the ladies were comfortable for the most part. Service was excellent & everyone especially enjoyed the bread. Entree salad was huge.
Thank you for dining with us! We hope to serve you again soon.
We were there at 11AM on Sunday. We wanted an early start on our trip home. Excellent service.
Thank you for sharing such complimentary feedback about our team. We look forward to serving you again soon!
The food was wonderful. Nice to go into a restaurant and not only have an attentive wait staff, but also good food. We were met at the front and courteously escorted to our seats. Our drink order was taken and brought to us quickly. I will definitely refer our friends to this restaurant.
Thank you for choosing to dine with us at Bravo! Italian Kitchen. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your meal and hope to serve you again soon.
Great place!
Thank you! We hope to welcome you back again soon.
We went to Bravo for an anniversary. My friend is unable to wear a mask for health reasons and they almost refused us entry. Meanwhile, the hostess’s mask wasn’t even covering her nose. The food was lackluster. It seems there may have been some menu changes. The bread for dipping had sun dried tomatoes and wasn’t very good. Our waitress took my water glass for a refill and then I watched her bus two tables before bringing me a glass. All in all, the evening left me wondering if Bonefish would have been the better choice.
We are so sorry to hear that we let you down – especially on such a special day. We appreciate that you have taken the time to write to us and will use your feedback for improvements in service.
Good, enjoyable
Thank you! We hope to serve you again soon.
Beautiful night on the patio! Fantastic service!
Thank you for dining in our outdoor patio. We're glad you enjoyed your visit and look forward to serving you again soon.
Sat 25 minutes after our reservation time. Restaurant was overcrowded or understaffed. However everyone really tried to make it work. I felt sorry for the running going on with the staff. I am sure things will get better.
It was all good waitress forgot to give me small plate for my bread.
Good to see them open again had a gift card glad to be able to use it
Our server was attentive and engaging. The food was well prepared but the pasta was a little light on sauce.
I know they just opened back up but after being shut down this long you would have thought they would have been a little better prepared. Appreciate their Covid-19 response and allowing customers to feel comfortable going back out to eat but their food and service need attention right now.
Service as just OK. Party of 7 took order of 6 and left. Appetizer plates dirty. Some meals OK, others not. Went thinking it would be an upgrade to Olive Garden. I have had better meals at Olive Garden.
Brandy, our server, was excellent. She had a great personality, made good recommendations yet wasn’t pushing. The food was very good and the berry cake with ice cream was amazing. All in all, a very good experience.
Had a flatbread appetizer and pasta entrees. The pasta entrees were perfectly prepared, perfect amount of sauce and pasta was prepared al dente. The Marguerite flatbread appetizer was also nicely prepared, as were our cocktails. Service was friendly, attentive but not overbearing. Would definitely go back.
Food was okay, but not a place I would plan on going back to. The service was below average.
Spinach dip was great. Crispy ravioli with dipping sauces need some work. Filled with air and very little cheese.
We had placed our reservation through Open Table for 6:45pm. We checked in as soon as we got there. We were told we would have a 30-40 minute wait. I said we did the reservation to avoid wait. The greeter turned his iPad around and "stated I can't create a space for you we are full see here" He then said I will seat you at the first available table. So we waited... 5 other parties were seated before we were. Only bc the manager came up and asked the guy if there were any reservations that need seated. The guy started to say no when I piped up and said yes our reservation was for 50 minutes earlier. I have never experienced a wait like this when using Open Table. The food and the service was just ok
Our waiter was phenomenal!!! My steak was undercooked then when taken to be cooked more, it came back overcooked.
Ordered grilled chicken with pasta meal, when meal was received there was no grilled chicken on the pasta meal. Waitress said she'd have them remake it, they added the grilled chicken to pasta meal, did not remake. Was not offered shredded parm. cheese after getting meal back, but was offered powdered parm cheese instead.
Well it was Valentine's day so it was busy they were 15 to 20 minutes behind on reservations understandably. The hostess was extremely polite and pleasant which made the wait tolerable. Food was amazing service was great even though they were slammed the were polite, pleasant, and fast to help their guest's.
The neglected me and my date . I requested a lime it never came had to go get my own from the bar. Needed another drink had to flag someone down to get my drink. Service was unacceptable will not return. I had to refill my dates water when it was empty. Pathetic.
Excellent place to enjoy a meal with family, excellent service and plenty of parking.
In addition, we have had two large family lunches (25-35)at this Bravo and the food and service were exceptional.
The waitress was okay but never smiled or was personable. Our food was not worth what we paid. The noodles were not cooked all the way
Excellent food... Great service... An Italian restaurant with exceptional steaks
We had booked a table for 6.45 pm on February 7th. Upon arrival we were told that we would have to wait for a table.
It did not seem to matter that we reserved a table.
There was a table in the bar and we decided to take it.
Somewhat disappointed at the service
The food was excellent. Our service wasn't as good as normal, but still ok.
Thank you! We will certainly work on that and hope to serve you again soon.
Excellent food great service and the staff met our request for a round table. One of the better places to eat in Dayton
Excellant Fillet and cooked to perfection. Better than any steakhouse.
The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic! We did have an issue with the hosts. We checked in a few minutes before our reservation and waited 25 minutes while several other parties of the same size with later reservations were seated. I finally approached the host stand again and reminded them that we were still waiting for our table. They immediately seated us - I’m assuming they realized an error in their seating order. In any case, the service and food were exceptional and we will return!
Food was excellent! Server was so slow
so bad... bad food, bad service, management needs to step up big time before it is a place of the past
