BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Virginia Beach Ratings and Reviews
I had dinner with my husband and 7 other friends after my performance at the Sandler Center this past Sunday. We had a short for a table since we were a half hour early for our reservation. Despite the large group we were served quickly and efficiently. The food was delicious another was a good selection. This is usually our go to place for dinner after most of my Symphonicity performances.
we made a reservation just to be safe, but it wasn’t really necessary for the time that we went. The food was really good. I really enjoyed it and the bread they give you while you’re waiting so delicious. The thing we didn’t like was our waiter didn’t seem too interested in helping us. It took him about 10 minutes to even say anything to us when we were seated, even though he was actively talking to the people at the table in front of us. Finally he came to introduce himself, and seemed rushed. We had to order our food then because he didn’t think he’d be back anytime soon. Sure enough. We got our food from someone else. Ate it all and sat there for a few minutes before he even came back to check on us, all of about 30-45 minutes. When he came back he asked if we wanted a box or dessert. We told him no and asked for the check. Good thing we liked what we ordered because we wouldn’t have been able to do anything about it with such a horrible server. Other than the terrible service, we enjoyed the food and the restaurant as a whole.
Took my Valentine to dinner on V-day. We dressed upped to go for a 8pm reservation. Dropped my Valentine near the entrance as I parked the car. When I arrived she was already seated and the waiter came to take our drink order. He was timely and displayed the perfect amount of attentiveness. We ordered appetizers, salad, entree and desert. The pacing and delivery of each item was like clockwork. We had a chance to complete each item before the next plate was served. We were not rushed and not stacked up with plates. The Caesar salad was exceptional. The entrees and dessert were prepared with care and pleased the senses. The only negative I would offer up would be that we were seated next to some type of station were we could clearly see a person apparently keeping track of tables. The person would move from the head of one seating section laterally to the next head section. The head of each seating section and where this persom stood were only separated by a waist level curtain. But they were still so very close to tables that their tabe conversation could be heard. I could clearly hear the person speaking. I belive they were looking at tables to track their meal progress. It was a bit overly close to tables and a bit obvious for my taste as they stared overtly, directly and doggedly at people at their tables.
Overall the experience was a great one. We were not rushed, the service was exceptional and the food a great tasting experience. We would do it again but just not near that tracking station. Dont want to notice them.
Great time and good food! Please bring the berries back for a dessert option! I am not a big fan of creme brûlée on each visit or apple pie thing you had ( nut allergy). I would like like to see a wider variety for dessert...I had to visit another restaurant for that.
I have been to this restaurant before. However, it was my husbands first time. The food was delicious but the service was not so great. Our waitress took our drink order. Our tea and water got to us in a fair amount of time but our cocktails took awhile. Plus our tea and water glass was empty BEFORE we got our cocktails and before we even ordered our meal. A manager eventually refilled our glasses and took our food order. The waitress then seemed a little annoyed that we didn’t wait for her to place our order. Like I previously stated, the food was good but just wish that for the price we were paying, we would have had better service
We love being able to make a reservation, it assures a table at a specific time. Our food was nicely prepared and looked and tasted great. Waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to spend time with our family and enjoy the conversation. It is a busy place that is abuzz but not cacaphonous. It allows you to hear others while being festive. We know it’s a chain but they do it right.
I was in town for a tennis tournament and starving. The food was delicious ... even the salad even through it was waaaaay overdressed. I would recommend asking for dressing on the side. We all had pasta dishes and everyone was very pleased with their meal choice. I will definitely do this again.
This is a great restaurant for Italian lovers and Seafood Lovers. Everything is so tasty, especially the Spicy Scallop Marinara. I can’t get enough of that entree. My husband gets that entree too sometimes, but he also loves the meat lasagna. I wish they would get a vegetarian lasagna on their menu. The artichoke dip appetizer gives you garlic pizza dough slices to dip. So yummy.
I have been to Bravo several times, love the food. This time however our server was absolutely horrible! Kept walking off, took him over 20 min to actually come to us.
They were not busy when we first got there. He actually treated us as we were bothering him. Not sure if he was new or just a terrible server.
The girls seating people looked sloppy. It just was not like normal.
To say we were disappointed is just the start of how the night went.
The food was great but honestly I wish we had complained to a manager instead of just being nice and not saying anything.
We chose to have dinner Christmas eve and got in with reservations at 9pm and was seated immediately. My husband ordered a Chianti but they were out of all the 3 choices of Chianti but were nice enough to offer the price of house Chianti for a Merlot instead. We ordered the calamari which came out too rapidly we thought and it was thick flour battered and greasy. We then ordered a caprese salad to split which again came out right away. It was mediocre. I ordered the eggplant parm and my husband the chicken scallopini which again we had barely ordered and here came our food as if the kitchen anticipated the order. The chicken dish was okay but the eggplant was heavily battered and greasy as well. Very disappointed in the food will not go back for that but the ambiance and the service was fantastic! Good place to go for cocktails perhaps but not again for dinner for us. Sorry Bravo!
HORRIBLE. That's my description. The waitress was super distracted. She came with the soups for 2 and salad for 1. Took the order and literally desapeared. After 50 minutes we started to get annoyed, we couldn't find her. We told another waittres about the situation but no one paid attention. We asked for the Manager, she came and explained that the waitress forgot to put the order. She apologized. When the food came, it was impossible to eat. Dried, burnt, no sauces. It was like they got old food and tried to make it new. We complained and they have to admit that the food was not good. The only good think we didn't have to pay. They were very busy and they couldn't handle it. They lost good customers.
My coworkers and I came to Bravo on 12/15/17 for a Christmas lunch. We were very impressed at how quickly our food came out, how attentive our waiters were to making sure our drinks were always full, and how they treated us so kind. From the moment we walked into the door until we left we were happy with our service. I had the Chicken Marsala and it was to die for, and nobody at our table of 15/16 people had a complaint about their food. Bread was excellent, tea was sweet enough to where we didn't have to add anything else. If there is one suggestion I could add it was the Mango tea was a little bitter. Suggest adding the mango to the already sweet tea you all offer I am sure that would be excellent. From the coworkers and myself at General Foam Plastics Corporation we thank you.
