BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Rochester Hills
We are in the Village of Rochester Hills Mall located cross street from the Meadowbrook theater and Oakland University. We are quick 5 minute drive from the downtown Rochester and Crittenton Hospital. The Place of Auburn Hills where Detroit Pistons play is within 3 miles. DTE Music Theater is also within 15 minutes drive.
Food was just ok, nothing special. The server was attentive, but it felt like they were speeding us out.
The waitperson was super attentive; food was delicious and hot (right off the fire), house wine was smooth and flavorful; all was a great experience for our 31st anniversary- will keep going to Bravo for more good experiences!
I will say I will go back to try a different menu item. If I like that I would recommend to others
We had a very pleasant dining experience on Mothers Day. Although the restaurant was busy we only had to wait five minutes for seating. The server was very attentive but the kitchen was backed up so dinner was a little slow in coming. Overall it was lovely.
Service was very slow.
We had excellent service and the food was great! The waitress was very attentive and took time with us considering we had a toddler with us.
I came in for Mother's Day. I am on a strict diet that doesn't allow me to have the array of pasta meals that they have. I went online before going, and found they make a chicken sandwich. It was not on the menu the day I went. When I asked the waitress, she said that they only serve it during lunch and would not accommodate. Instead I tried the turkey meatball appetizer, and it was not very good at all. I was very disappointed that I was unable to be accommodated, and that what I ended up ordering instead wasn't appealing.
Great food, Great service as usual. most consistent in Rochester.
Great food! Service is friendly and accommodating. The manager walking around with her tablet checking tables is rude. I get what she is doing, but it feels like she is watching you and rushing you out the door so that she can put new guests at your table. She needs to stand off to the side and click away, not walk the aisles evaluating tables. It’s intimidating and takes away from a relaxing dinner with friends. 🙁
Excellent food and service by our waitress Kaitlin
Good place to eat, everything was tasty and good. Will visit again
Definitely would go back again with my family of 6. We loved the pre seating option on line. The appetizer was great, the bread and flavored oil we loved and the waitress was very friendly.
This restaurant offer many Organic dishes. Very good taste and service is outstanding! Table was ready when we arrived. Will certainly go back again.
ordered the chicken marsala.
i feel it was cooked good, but there was alot of tuff , gristly pieces in the chicken and the overall presentation was kinda sloppy...
a little inprovement and it would be much better
Service was good. As well as the food. Food came out within 20 minutes.
We ordered steak and a pasta dish with two kids meals. We waited a long time for our food despite there were only 3-4 other tables in the entire restaurant. All our food came together , the pasta and kids meals were cold! The steak was over cooked. The waiter never even asked how our foods were. He came by a couple of times , once filling our water, but ignored the soda, and very casually asked if we needed anything else.
Our server was very unaware of our table. She appeared she wasn’t trained properly or she didn’t want to be there. The food was just average. I didn’t feel the prices reflected the food value. This used to be my favorite restaurant but not anymore. Price per value ratio has increased.
The food was great and our server was very efficient.
Bravo Cucina is a chain restaurant but they do a good job. The menu is not as expansive as some restaurants but the food is prepared well. We had the Shrimp Orzo and the Filet for entrees and the lobster bisque and the house salad for apps. The salad was excellent, the soup lacked pieces of lobster it was good but not the best I’ve ever had. The fillet was cooked correctly, the seasoning was a little heavy but better that than bland. It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The shrimp Orzo really shined the shrimp was excellent and the veggies in it were tasty and added to the dish. The bread was so-so. I like crusty bread at an Italian restaurant. I had an old fashioned and my wife had the cucumber basil gimlet and both drinks were spot on excellent. We also had the Vallopocella Italian red wine which is very good. For dessert we had the berry cake with berries and gelato and the molten lava cake and both were excellent. Overall Braco Cucina is quite good check it out and enjoy!
Open Table on line was great! I messed up and had to add two more people making it 8 and they were very helpful in making that happen at the last minute! Server was great.
Enjoyable. Great service and chefs specialties were a good addition
The menu is in transition. Some times are gone and only available if you ask.
I have eaten at Bravo's in 2 restaurants in Columbus, one in Pittsburgh, and 2 here in the Detroit area over the last 10 years and have found the same high quality of food preparation, service and ambiance to be at the top of my list for fun eating and drinking. I have turned my wife's entire family into Bravo's fans here in Michigan. My side of the family live in St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri and I am not sure if you have any locations in either market. Trust me, if you do not; you should! Thanks for your continued concern for being the best. Actually, we are eating in the Rochester Hills Cucina this Saturday and turning other members of my wife's family to your fine dining experience.
Great place for a romantic dinner. Love the Mediterranean salad!
Th fare is pretty decent and the prices very reasonable.
Lovely meal. No problem.
Made reservations in open table and we were seated right away, we were in there less than an hour. This was our first time at this restaurant and it was delicious. I like the low lighting and it’s fairly quiet. The server was very fast and polite. I wish I remembered her name. The cheesecake.. I will go back just to eat the cheesecake, it was amazing.
Pasta Woozie noodles were undercooked and the chicken tasted rubbery. Portions were smaller, price higher.
Food was cold...lobster ravioli was pasta with tomato soup and teeny shrimp on top..very disappointed in the food..not at all what we expected
Turned away the day prior from a basically empty restaurant and told we needed to make reservations. Made reservations the next day and once we were seated we had to wait 30 min just to get our DRINK order. Eventually we were helped by an equally as frustrated waiter who "Didn't know where our server went." He politely apologized and took our entire order from us for our dead beat waiter. She did finally show and brought us a free side of spinach artichoke dip to make up for it, but by then I already had to rush my eating because I went there during my lunch at work. Ended up being reprimanded later for taking a longer lunch because of this. The food wasn't even that good! The dip was bland and the the meal tasted like straight sausage, but it was supposed to be Alfredo. All in all not impressed in the slightest. Even though I got the dip for free, I am just appalled that they're charging about ten dollars for it. I wouldn't have even paid 5! This is not a place I'll be visiting again or a place I'll let my friends waste their time and money at.
For reference, and to hopefully help the restaurant in the future. Our dead beat waitress was a brunette girl about 5'4" with her hair pulled back into a pony tail entirely too loose for the food industry. Horrible waitress.
Good as always, we enjoyed the soup and salad special
Great service, the food was outstanding and we were seated right away. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. The wedding soup very tasty and hot bread delicious with the olive oil. Will
come back soon to try other selections on the menu. Loved the location with cool shops surrounding the restaurant.
Waitress Rachel is a bit curt!! Could have been a bit more pleasant
Great lunch! I really wish you would put the Salmon salad and the Grilled Chicken salad back the way they were. The new ones don’t compare. I have them add stuff every time now.
The food cames really fast. The only this is: my lasagna wasnt hot enough for me.
Our dish we got wrong kind first time and other dish had too much lemon in it . Instead of fixing it server said just put more cream . Horrible quality of food . Alfredo was dry and uncooked
The food had changed quite a bit since new owners took over --- Not as good, service was poor ---- three out of 4 of our dinners came wrong - and two were still unacceptable the second time. Used to be so good, don't know what happened! On top of everything going wrong - they still charged us for meals. Very Dissappointing!
Very disappointing; usually love the food, but not a good night. Even the Italian wedding soup tasted awful.
We had a wonderful time! The service and food was wonderful!!! We look forward to returning soon!
My family loves Bravo and we have celebrated many wonderful events at Bravo, including birthdays, milestones and holidays. We love the food and the ambience. We also love the location in the village shops so we can walk around after dinner. We did have one disappointing event after our last trip to Bravo. I have the Bravo app and loyalty card. This past weekend all entrees were BOGO. After presenting my visit credit to the server, he returned with my bill and said I didn’t have any rewards. I asked about the BOGO offer. I never had to ask before. Loyalty rewards were just credited to me. He said I had to present the email. As this was on the app I didn’t have the email so he took the bill back and credited me one meal. I purchased four meals and should have been credited two meals. I didn’t want to cause a scene or question this but I was disappointed in how he handled the situation.
