BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Pittsburgh - Waterfront
Bravo! Waterfront is in the heart of the Waterfront Shopping District, directly across from Loew’s Cinemas. We are only 6 miles from downtown Pittsburgh & Duquesne University, 5 miles from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, 4 miles from Kennywood Amusement Park & a quarter mile from Sandcastle Water Park.
As always, very good. Service excellent. Pasta Woozie - the best
It is a great restaurant that has great service and food. The food is pricey for the portion size, but it is what it is. I would definitely suggest it for any occasion!
Waiter was excellent an i want to say thank you we really enjoyed our 6 yr Anniversary at our FAVORITE RESTAURANT ❤️
Server was excellent! Food was very good
Restaurant could be kept cleaner.
Some food items have changed for the worse I think. The meat sauce is very different- they must be using a new recipe.
Our waitress was friendly and very efficient. But the restaurant definitely needs an update.
Poor experience overall. Will not be returning.
Rebecca took great care of our table of eight and was especially attentive to,my mom celebrating her birthday!
It was just a family gathering of my brother, and his family! The food was excellent! Our waitress was superb! It was just an overall wonderful experience! I highly recommend Bravo in Waterfront!♥️ I have no complaints!!
Always a favorite ! I love it's friendly, casual atmosphere. It's easy to park, plenty on the menu from which to choose and it's guaranteed tasty. I think it's a good value for the money.
Service disappointing. Missed one guest during drink order. Brought wrong drink for another guest and a drink with a flea in it for another. Drink on the rocks came up.
All good except that they failed to check my reservation in and I received a no show email from open table that I had to spend way too much time explaining that I showed up on time and dined. The scolding email was insulting and the annoyance of rectifying the mistake involved too much time and energy. I use open table often but am not sure that I should not just make the reservation directly through the restaurant to avoid the confusion. Thinking that somewhere on the no show email there should be a reply button where the diner can simply say I showed.
We were a party of 9 for a family dinner. Good service, a little to fast between courses got the feeling they were rushing us. we were still eating salads & the main course arrived. Good food, a little slow on the wine after the meal was served. Nice to have the glass of wine with your meal not after you have competed it.
Server needed some additional wine knowledge.
Menu has gotten much smaller--food was just average
First time ever here! Heard fifty fifty on reading the reviews. I thought it was DEFINITELY above average! Took a first date here so I was hoping it was okay.Service was quick, food was very good ! What else can I say. Go try it out and see !
we love the food at Bravo. It could be quieter and our server this time must have been new. We were spilled on twice, but they did not let us pay for our meal because of that, which was very kind. For a while they had smaller, healthier portions but they are back to massive portions. The food is yummy but would be better if healthier and smaller in amount. they need to modernize the decor..it is looking old and dingy.
The food was lousy and stowage service
Sauce has no taste
Pesto is fake salty
Food wasn’t hot
Someone needs to learn to cook calamari. Rubber
Someon needs to learn to cook chicken. Rubber too. Microwave?
Done. Never go back. Waste of money
Go eat at Tillies
We loved the outdoor seating - particularly on a (rare) perfect summer evening in Pittsburgh. Our server was extremely attentive. And we loved that the menu showed calorie counts so we could place our orders with knowledge in hand. Only downside is that the restaurant was out of Prosecco (my favorite beverage for dinner).
Our server Luke was fantastic super friendly and helpful.
Always a cool atmosphere in this upscale casual Italian bistro...
Unfortunately, the food has really gone down in the last year.
We were a group of 7 seniors who were out for brunch. We were seated next to a large table that had several screaming children, making it hard to hear conversation. Our waitress was wonderful and patient, especially since a few people in our party were slightly demanding. Our only complaint was from those who ordered brunch rather than food from the standard menu. Toast came dry/unbuttered, none was offered. There was no jelly to be had, so one man asked for syrup (that came with another dish). One lady asked for mustard, and again, none was available. The veggie meatballs were enjoyed, as was the sausage omelet, the Mediterranean salad and the salmon insalata della casa. We appreciated that we weren't rushed and could continue our conversation after eating, since half of our party was from out of town and we hadn't seen each other in many years.
The food was great. The service/wait time was not ok at all. We had a 6:00 reservation. We were on time, and seated on time. It took awhile to take our food order. It took an unacceptable amount of time to get our food. After prompting our server that we had to leave by 7:50, we finally got our food at 7:35
Note: Since it took awhile to get our bread also, my assumption is there was a backup in the kitchen. I don’t consider the delay our server’s fault. However, when we complained/asked for our food, he was full of a list of excuses. So definitely not the ideal response
We used to enjoy Bravo Cucina, but this restaurant has definitely gone down since our last visit two years ago. Food was mediocre, service was ok, but there was nothing that would entice us to return.
It was our 1st time eating there. We went there for our daughter's birthday based on internet reviews. The only obvious fault was the time that it took to get our entrees. The waitress apologized 5 minutes before the food was brought out. We were served a little over an hour after arrival time...it was too long.
Long wait for food
Great place for a family with children. Kids menu was great with huge portions..the food was very tasty. Prices were very reasonable and will return again.
Was not happy with our service. Food was excellent, the young man that seated us was very friendly and wished us happy anniversary because I put that in our reservations. He even congratulated us again when we were leaving. The bartender was great and friendly. We had to ask our server for more bread, drinks, and made no point of this being a very special 25th wedding anniversary for us. Was very disappointed because we could of picked a lot of different restaurants in Pittsburgh
The service was very slow and the restaurant was. not crowded . It took 35 minutes to get the entree . The sauce on the chicken parmigiana was watery and had no taste
Very good server. Bravos seems to have gone downhill a bit in food quality/taste. It’s good but not up to standard from years ago. The bread used to cone out warm & soft. Now it’s usually hard. Hope they improve. Maybe needs better management???
Food was good although I believe food did not meet my expectations, as I had expected more due to the advertising hype.
Food seemed salty and not up to par. Noisy. Weekend prices should be the same as weekend. Also should have happy hour bar prices availabie
Poor selection. No vegetables with the meal
Need a fish dish
We love Bravo. Every time we go to the Waterfront, we eat there!
Yes I would recommend Bravo, it's a nice atmosphere and very good service. Lobster bisque much too thick but good flavor, salmon cooked well.
Great food and our Server Terry was awesome
The menu has been changed and is very limited compared to what it used to be. We will probably go back but it won't be in our top 10
Our server Rebecca was excellent!
excellent food.....I would recommend this location to anyone...
We stopped in for a late lunch. Everyone was very nice and attentive. This is one of our favorite BRAVO locations. Thanks again.
