BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Pittsburgh - Galleria
We are located in the Galleria Mall, Pittsburgh's premiere upscale mall in the heart of the South Hills on Route 19, just 10 minutes from downtown. We are just minutes from Mt. Lebanon boroughs' entertainment & business district. Nearby entertainment includes Allegheny County South Park woodlands, the AMF Bowling Center, the Blade Runners Ice complex & the Flight Trampoline Park.
Great service. Warm bread with dipping oil always good. We split salad and although it was crisp and fresh very small portion. Entrees came quickly and were nice portions. Food was hot and very good.
Service was a little slow because they were backed up in the kitsch, which our very attentive waitress advised us about. She even included four free desserts for our party of 10 because of the food delay. Very classy...would highly recommend!
We had salads which were relatively average for the setting. Nothing special. The bread was hard, seemed stale. Asked for softer bread and it was the same as if it was warmed in the microwave. Somewhat disappointing lunch.
Service was great, food was delicious except for the chicken in the chicken parmigian, it was dry and stringy. Other than that everything else was perfect. We would go back.
My out of town guests loved it and can't wait to come back
We went out for a family dinner at Bravo. Food was great and so was the service. We bought a $100.oo gift card and got $25.oo free along with a free bottle of olive oil. Great night!
After being seated, 45 minutes later my husband still didn’t have his salad that he ordered as an appetizer. She just forgot to bring it. When we mentioned it, she just wrapped it up in a To Go container and did bring us gelato at no charge.
Cousins getting together from Pittsburgh and Chicago.
Under original ownership,, the wedding soup was a favorite. However, in a BOWL of wedding soup, there were only 4 tiny meatballs. They were half the size of the ones in the original recipe. Disappointing !
We had not eaten at Bravo in a number of years. Had forgotten how good it is. All 4 of us had an excellent meal. Will definitely go back.
Bravos is a favorite! Great food, great service, always a treat!
Food and service was good.
We were there on a Saturday night. The restaurant seemed woefully under-staffed (pay people more!!) and was totally overwhelmed with the volume. The food is good -- very standard and the same every experience, which I consider a good thing. I don't know if I'll ever be there for dinner again. Lunch, yes.
To the management/ownership: PAY PEOPLE MORE! You need to up the ante to bring in more staff. I'd rather pay $3 more on my bill and have a more pleasant dining experience.
Seated immediately. Wonderful food & service
No bread..We got our salads first. People just seated got bread & oil dip. Long after we finished our salads & a couple minutes before our food arrived we were served our bread.
Rough night at Bravo. Kitchen got way behind and/or lost our order so we waited ~40 minutes for our food on a Wednesday night. Two members in our party left without eating because they had somewhere to be.
Once we did get our food, it was good although they gave one of the people who left the wrong pasta in their meal.
GM comped the meal because of the issues which was the correct thing to do. Everyone has a bad night. We'll still go back to Bravo.
The food exceeded my expectations. Delicious! Will eat there again soon.
Restaurant was incredibly understaffed for a Monday lunch on Columbus Day. We waited a very long time to see our server. Although we ordered immediately, it took almost an hour to get our food. My guest’s pasta was cold. Mice “salad” was nothing but lettuce and chicken on it. It came with nothing else. Very disappointing.
Good overall experience
Delicious!! Great service too!
Ordered drinks and the server brought back with wrong garnishes and wrong size glass. Took order and wasn’t even going to ask if I wanted a salad. No attention to detail. Running around and would stand at the table long enough to listen. After the order was placed, everything was good after that. She brought bread and salad and the food runner brought dinner. After that she was attentive, but it was an extremely rocky start.
The menu is extremely limited in choices, and the portions small for the money. I had to ask for extra marinara sauce because my spaghetti bolognese had no marinara sauce mixed in with the meat. It was just meat in oil over a very small portion of pasta. It was so dry. I have a small appetite due to recent illness, but the potion was so small that i wasn't filled at all. That never happens. We left to get desert elsewhere. Overall, a very disappointing experience. We will not return.
Good Food Good Service A little busy - but nice place for lunch/dinner
This Bravo is usually consistent. I would suggest adding additional types of pasta dishes such as ravioli and gnocchi. The menu needs changed up.
Unfortunately in the area there had been a water main break. As a result there was a boil water alert and it’s severely limited what they could serve for beverages. We ended up with water with no ice. They were busy seemed scattered it was not an enjoyable meal
I ordered veal scallopini with mushrooms & no cheese. The veal was burned so badly that the waitress , before I asked, ordered me a replacement . Disappointing compared to the same dish served by the previous owners!😞
We stopped for dinner and were enjoying the Margeritta Flatbread when the manager stopped by our table. We hadn't seen her for some time. were glad to hear that she was back at the Mt. Lebanon location, full time. We were talking about the new menu items when she told us she'd be right back. When she did return, she brought us two of the new features. The stuffed meatballs and the new zucchini dish. What a nice surprise. Both were delicious. We totally enjoyed our visit.
Utensils had to be replaced due to dried on food particles.
Chicken in pasta bravo tasted like processed chicken!
The food was delicious and out server was outstanding.
Excellent service, yummy food, seated right away
My family and myself came for my birthday
The food was outstanding. The service outstanding
The manager even check on us . We will back soon
Shrimp dish was delicious. Chicken caprese was okay. Chicken a bit dry. Margarita pizza awesome. Italian wedding soup THE BEST! Scotty the server was A+. He made sure we were always happy. Brought gelato with candle for my mom’s birthday. Will return for sure! Thank you Bravo.
All nice and convenient when coming from the airport.
Our server, Megan, was outstanding! We will definitely be back.
Most of the food in our party was lukewarm. We were given "old" menus and when we ordered based off the old menu - it came out as the new menu item - which was not the same and when we asked about it the server didn't want to listen and just kept talking over. The item was fixed but all they did was place warm chicken on top of cold salad.
My dish was bland and needed more sauce.
Good food. Above average food and drink prices. Service slow.
I was very happy that they had brought back a favorite to the menu "Romano crusted Chicken" which we enjoyed once again. Would still like to return the flatbreads to the menu that have been missing for a few months. We sat outside on the patioand enjoyed a lovely evening with good food.
The new owners need to add the high quality foods back from the original Bravo , onto their menu that they no longer offer. Flatbreads , “real” calamari not the flat strips they serve, the sauce that was on the fettuccine that came with chicken parmigiana, their current chicken spinach dip pizza is terrible, return the old lunch salads that everyone loved
Our waitress was excellent her name is
Joyce. The lasagna was great. The wine that she recommended was also good.
Bartender who waited on us didn't even ask if we wanted bread. No friendly joust OK
