BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Louisville
our salads were crisp; the meatballs were wonderful; really liked the eggplant a lot
First time going to this restaurant. Will go back! Food delicious. The only thing is around some tables is wrought iron railings with ornamental curves at the bottom sticking out from the bottom.. I stubbed my toe twice on them and it hurt badly!! Those things need to be removed.
The food was amazing, my son said steak was better than any steakhouse. My pasta was great and others in the party very happy. Our service was not so great... maybe she was having a bad day, just no personality and that’s not a good fit for a waitress.
We went for mothers day. Great atmosphere and food. Service a little slow but the waiter kept the bread coming so we were satisfied.
Our reservation was for 5:45 we paid for the meal at 8;15. We didn't have cocktails. The moise level was off tge charts. It was so loud that it mad it impossible to have a good conversation. The waitress was attentive. The slowness of seating, noise level and slowness food preparation put Bravo on our dont return to list.
Food is always good at Bravo’s. The staff was obviously overwhelmed for Mother’s Day. Service was slow and the only kids meal ordered didn’t arrive until we were leaving. Drinks were not refilled because the server reported not having enough water pitchers. They comped the child’s pasta dish but not a typical Bravo service experience on Mother’s Day.
The food was excellent, along with the server. I did not like that our reservation was not observed on time.
Scam alert they charged a $100. More than my bill was. Only reason how I caught it was because I have an alert set on my account. My acct was charged $100 more. When I approached the Manager he wanted to know how I found out. He had no intention of telling me they over charged me. They knew they tried to scam me. Also when my bill came there was no credit card in it, the waiter didn’t know where he left it. A big scam don’t go there they are scammers and liars.
Bravo is the favorite restaurant of my wife and I. We visit there at least once a month. The service is always great and the food is always fresh and tasty.
Everything about our Mother’s Day brunch was excellent! We had a nice table for eight in a good location in the side room. Quiet enough for good conversation. Our server was great! He was efficient and very pleasant. Everyone who helped our server was also very nice.
Most of our group ordered breakfast dishes, although one person had pasta and another had a salad. Everything was very good! The two children liked the “kids menu” bacon, eggs, and fruit, but what they really loved the most was the lava cake dessert.
We are regulars here and really have found it to be one of the best values, most consistent moderate price Italian places in the Louisville area. The one issue this particular place has is the server staff. I understand it is very hard to get good people but I have to say, over the last 6 months we have not been placed with a decent server once. I am not sure what the industry standard wage is for servers, but I would be paying them more in hopes of retaining a higher level of service. I gave this place 3 starts overall which would have been 5 stars if not for the obvious struggle they have keeping qualified servers. As a side note, the manager was assisting our server Saturday evening which made things tolerable. The Case Dela Casa is perfect every time, and if you order Lasagna it is more than enough to split for 2 people. The food is always excellent.
Used to go here frequently but haven't been for awhile. I was a little disappointed in my Pasta Woozie. It was very dry, needing more Alfredo sauce. We felt very rushed by the waiter who began clearing plates and giving us our bill before people were finished eating. He even came back to collect the bill while our party was still eating and we told him to come back later. Probably won't hurry back here.
Always good. Great service. Nice people. They treat you well. Great place for a dinner date.
We used to come to Bravo maybe once a month. However, we haven't come as often, because it seems that since they changed the menu, the food has dropped in quality. It has been about 2-3 months since we were here last. Last time I tried the Chicken meatballs, which were not very good. They were mushy. I had the lasagna this time. This used to be my favorite, when it was called Mama's lasagna. In the past it was baked to a golden brown, it was nicely layered with cheese, meat and noodles with plenty of flavor. This time it seemed barely baked, not a lot of meat and it was very liquidity. The taste was only ok. After these last 2 visits, it is no longer our favorite Italian restaurant in Louisville.
The restaurant wasn’t overly busy and it took forever to get anything. Ordered two kids’ drinks and it must have taken 20 mins to get them. Food was decent, but because of the service I wouldn’t go back.
The food was wonderful but the service was lacking. Our server could not have been more disinterested in our dining experience. For a meal that was almost $100 for three people, I expected more.
Our server, Sheena, was terrific and the food was wonderful. We especially enjoyed sharing the seasonal sweet, a white cake with berries inside and out and gelato on top!
lower level version of Brio, food was ok, service great I did not realize it was a chain until I got there, otherwise i would have picked a local restaurant
The service and food was wonderful. The waiter was AWESOME!!!
Great food with large, shareable portions. The Isalata deal Casa is great!
This is the 2nd time in 1 week that the WiFi wasn’t working. Was there with family for Easter, but could not check in due to WiFi not functioning. According to hostess staff it had t worked in a long time. How am so supposed to “check in” on your ap if the Internet is down. The staff didn’t seem to care, just said they were recently purchased & nothing has been done about it. Evidently the router is close to the office & does not provide a signal into the reception area, bar or dining room.
Our service from Terrance was fantastic! We will definitely visit again.
A hostess was our server and we had extremely long waits for drink order, food order. No refills given, not asked if we wanted dessert. No mention of the birthday my 78 year old mom was celebrating even though I told them about it when making the reservation. I had to seek the hostess out to take our food order and to get our check. No dishes were cleared and we were never asked how things were. Absolutely horrible experience for me and my 4 guest. We went there for lunch and we were there an hour and 20 minutes due to the 20 minute wait for drink orders and another 25 minutes for her to take our food order. Then the long wait for my check. I did go ahead and give her a nice tip because management should not have her seating people and waiting on tables at the same time.
it was for my daughters prom and 9 other juniors. they said everything was wonderful
Our seating was in a very trafficked area. Otherwise, very good dinner.
I requested a round table for 10. Didnt find out til we arrived that their large tables only seat 5 or 6.
Service was very good. Food great.. We enjoyed the area as well.. 10 people at our table. Thanks!
Thank goodness for the GREAT FOOD and a 25% DISCOUNT from my Bravo Rewards! The evening started out slow, when we arrived 10 minutes early for a 7:00 pm Open Table reservation and didn't get seated until 7:25. We realized that some people just linger too long at their table when they are done eating. But then we waited another 10 minutes for our server to take our drink orders. Then we waited another 20 minutes for water and bread with dipping oil. We received our appetizer before we ever got our bar drinks from the manager. Smooth sailing after that except for the missing bacon from the Insalata dela casa. No biggie. Entrees were excellent as always.
We have eaten at Bravo many times and this is our first bad experience. The waitress greeted us and took our drink order. She came and took our order and we didn't see her again until we were ready for our check. She even apologized saying she was sorry for not being back to our table since she took our order. We finally asked the manager to give us a drink refill which he did.
This was our first time visiting. Loved the food and service. Roy, our server, was amazing. We will definitely be back!
The food is excellent! Bravo Cucina has the best bread and dipping oil of any of the Italian restaurants. Lots of good choices on the menu. The salads can be split between two people, which is great! The lasagna is very good, as are the chicken meatballs. The restaurant needed a bit of decorations, it seemed a bit sparse. We did not have a good waitress. She gave us no time, wasn't personable. But it is worth going back for the food.
Always a favorite when going through Louisville l. Jerry was an excellent server!
Inexperienced waitress that required additional training in wine opening and serving, checking in and handling the table. Very eager to learn but needed another week of training and oversight
My friends and I always dine at Bravos when we get together. The service was excellent as was the food and ambience. We’ll be back.
Food and service were spectacular. Will definitely be going back.
I often dine here. Unfortunately, this dining experience included a meal that was subpar. I ordered a very simple dish as I’m gluten-free. I ordered pasta and chicken in wine sauce. I was charged $17.99. The chicken was dried out and tasteless. Very disappointing. As always, the service was excellent. The atmosphere was pleasant; it was quiet as it was very early in the evening.
Waiter did not put my rewards points on receipt. Didn’t put $ amount on receipt. Therefore I failed to get my points. Spent $180 total w tip
Good atmosphere and good taste.
My wife and I very much enjoyed our meal at Bravos' on Saturday. I had the salmon salad and she had the salmon dinner. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the grilled flavor was outstanding. We both highly recommend ordering them. The noise level was a little high when we were there, but the restaurant was full and we were seated next to the kitchen. Overall, we had a great experience and we highly recommend Bravos' for a delicious meal out.
