BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Louisville
We had some delicious pasta and were able to get to know one another over dinner. Great place for conversation and excellent service.
I love this place but this visit was not the best . Very understaffed & our waitress worked her tail off. It wasn’t her fault but it took a long time to get drinks from the bar & even bread for the table. Food was good not great.
Need to hire more staff. Waited 30 minutes for waitstaff after we were seated at our reserved table
I liked everything that I tried at Bravo. A salad,an entree and a dessert and none of the meals disappointed me. I ate the Shrimp + lobster fettuccine and was delicious. The Caramel Cheesecake was a very good surprise. I was not expecting so much, but it incredible. It worth the calories.
Our reservation was at 7:15, we were seated at 8. Our server came and we all decided we’d just order right away but she said “ they should have told you that the kitchen is an hour and a half behind and I can’t out any food orders in.” We ended up having to wait and thankfully our food tasted great. This was a 3 hour dinner nightmare.
After a very rough start to the evening, the food and drinks and service were excellent as usual. Poor planning on someone’s part had three large parties going on at the same time. This put the kitchen an hour behind and we were seated 45 minutes after our Open Table reservation time. The young hostesses did not know what to tell angry guests waiting past their reservation times. Once seated, our service was quick and courteous and no delays from the bar or kitchen.
The steak we ordered was prepared perfectly. The salads were plentiful and the wine selections were great. And the service was first rate. In all it was a very pleasant dining experience.
Very small portions for the price. Had the lunch combos and would have left hungry If we didn’t split a dessert.
This place is amazing! Great atmosphere, great service, the chef came out and asked for feedback... it was phenomenal. I appreciated the waiter making genuinely recommendations and helping us guide our evening with excellent selections. Definitely a top comfortable setting for any occasion where goodness is valued!
We had seven people and got there at 4:30, restaurant was pretty empty. Appetizers were solid we got the ravioli and the Spinach/artichoke dip, everyone seemed to enjoy it. Then it started to go down hill our waiter took for ever to take our order and when he did and the came, 5 of 7 entrees were wrong. Four entrees didn’t receive the correct side item and one of our parties ordered Chicken Alfredo and received Shrimp Alfredo. Stems are usually awesome however tonight they lacked flavor and were tough with tons of fat on them. This place was a go to place for great food and service but after tonight it will be awhile before we go back. Disappointing!!!!!!
Food was very good. Our server Stephen was outstanding.
Always great service and food
Birthday celebration, happy hour, appetizers, great service in the bar by Brandon. We shared cheese dip, caprese, calamari, ... black bean soup, & more. Plus a free birthday dessert! Great deal!!
I hate writing this review as we eat here at least every other week , and love the restaurant
This evening was a disaster
Not enough wait staff
Bar ran out of tomato juice
Pasta had wrong “sauce”
Our waitress was new and was trying so hard but with no back up and so many people for her to serve it was a disaster
It took forever to get orders ( appetizer never came) and then forever to get the food
The manager ( new to us) came to table and apologized and gave us desserts
AS I looked over the meager staff I recognized no one
Maybe new management and all new staff?
I sure hope 5hey can get more help and return to a pleasant place to go
The service used to be exceptional here so my family would come at least once a month. Unfortunately, in the last year or so it has gone down hill so despite the menu still being delicious we rarely go anymore.
We were gretted @ the door...Sat @ the Bar for a bit, Great people taking care of us @ Bar.
Table was ready on time. Server was A+ Food A+
My uncle thoroughly enjoyed his 87th birthday thanks to great food and great service! Requested a table for five including a wheelchair and they had it ready for us when we walked in the door. Thanks!
Would have received highest marks but the service was not up to the usual standards. No offer to refill drinks or to bring more bread to the table. Server only made one inquiry about the meal.
Food came to the table cold. Salmon over cooked and over salted .
Difficult to hear at a round table for 5. Our waitress mistakenly overcharged one of our party but corrected it. We waited too long for our checks and I went ahead and finished my meal while waiting for a to-go box. She may have been taking care of more tables than she could efficiently handle.
To be seated and ignored is unacceptable. The only other occupied table outside was seated well after us and served immediately. Since the waitress never came over, I went inside to speak to the hostess who never materialized at the front while I waited. A waiter came by and was quite helpful and apologetic - at least one employee we encountered understands how to handle customers.
Food is marginal at best. Not worth the time.
Bravo's is always consistent. The food and drinks are well made and the service is always very good. Prices are reasonable and the quality is always great. It is one of our favorite places to dine.
One of the best Italian menus in Louisville. The food was delicious and well prepared. The noise level was the only drawback.
We Like eating in the bar area to get the specials. We shared tomato mozzarella salad, a margarita pizza, and dip and Cristini’s. Great price good service.
Great 64th anniversary celebration for my parents! Requested table closer to the door and they were able to accommodate so my 91 and 88-year-old parents didn’t have to walk too far. Food never disappoints!
enjoyed our pasta and soups immensely
we miss the chopped salad you used to serve
Better tasting than Olive Garden with comparable prices. Love this place!!! New Fave Italian🥰
I went online and reserved an outdoor table. It was an early weekday reservation and when we arrived there was hardly any other customers there. Literally maybe 4 tables in the entire restuarant was being used. When we were taken to our tables the waitress and I immediately noticed the appetizer plate had what looked like a small piece of burnt food on it. She took the plate away but never replaced it until after I waited and after our appetizers were brought to us. We were seated close to the kitchen and a busy walkway for the employees.
Was not the experience I was hoping for with my new lady friend and definitely not what I reserved.
My husband and I have been there many times and have always enjoyed it. Our waiter, Sam, was attentive and did a very good job. That being said, we both ordered a pasta (spaghetti bolognese and pasta bravo). Both were large and we thought that neither one had quite enough sauce on it. I suppose we could have asked for more, but we ate it and brought our leftovers home - enough to feed us another meal. All in all we enjoyed it and will be back.
Wonderful Server and good food
Drinks were poorly made. Food was average at best. Service was below par. used to be a nice stopping place, but not on this occasion.
The server very nice but untrained. Shame on the restaurant. They need to train them so they will receive good tips since they depend on their tips.
Nice casual Italian dining with good dining options.
Bravo’s is my 91-yr-old mother’s favorite. They didn’t disappoint! Still wish they would add back the Chicken Bacon Ranch Flat Bread Appetizer.
This is my favorite Italian place to dine. The food is always great and the service is always fantastic. The whole evening was wonderful. Thank you
Ginny
Roy was an incredible server - one of the best we have had anywhere!!! He was very knowledgeable and very personable! He made our dining experience so much fun! And we were very pleased that the chef came to inquire how our food was prepared - truly the sign of an excellent restaurant! We highly recommend Bravo’s!
Bravo is reliably good, and I have dined there often. On my most recent visit, I tried a spicy shrimp and pasta entree I had not had before at this restaurant, and its version was delicious. Though it is not regularly on the menu, I have requested pasta carbonara on occasion and have been served very tasty versions. I might ask for shrimp Alfredo next time. I imagine it could easily substitute shrimp for the chicken in its version of the pasta dish. I do wish Bravo had a few more selections on its menu, such as pasta carbonara and veal saltimbocca, but it does very well with the entrees it does offer.
Food was excellent! Service was great!
Yes! Especially since you brought back my favorite salad, Romano Crusted Chicken salad! Thank you. A very generous portion and well mixed. Fantastic service.
We had a large group of 11 people. Service was good but the food wasn't as good as it used to be. Apps, calamari and fried ravioli were good. Srvers brought us plenty of bread and dipping sauce. The lobster bisque and lobster ravioli were terrible. The Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe was a very small portion and dry but edible. Most said their food was ok.
