BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Leawood
Our waitress was wonderful and the food was fabulous. Haven't been here in awhile, but will definitely be returning soon.
Excellent food and service. One of our favorites restaurants.
Their food is alwsys delicious and Frank, our waiter is alwsys very charming.
We had a wonderful experience! Our waiter was wonderful, the food was delicious.
We liked Drake. Great waiter on a busy valentines evening
Great food in a nice atmosphere. Kate was our server and she did a great job. Definitely get the chocolate molten cake for dessert. Their cheese dip was a great new twist and I'd highly recommend it.
We've been many times and were pleased. Valentine's night the food was dry and the service poor. The host staff was good, but our server had to be flagged down for a take out box and, when he brought it, he left the check. No offer for dessert on Valentine's? We were prepared for coffee and dessert, but just left.
Server was not as attentive as he could be. Had to ask for things multiple times. Food was better than before. Chicken parmigiana was great and wife like the vegetarian meatballs.
Lasagna was delicious as always. Add on salad was fine. Bread was served hot and tasty, with the dipping oil. Chicken Pesto Scallopini was quite disappointing, dry, tough and lacking flavor. It was barely warm.
Dinner and appetizers were good but Dessert was the best course!
We did not enjoy the changes to the items we normally order.
A less than great experience. All four had soup and chopped salad. Tomato soup and Italian wedding soup were tasty but lobster bisque was quite salty. No one liked salad..heavy on cucumber and bland dressing. Waitress spilled tea on table then said she was ill and left restaurant mid meal. Manager was especially helpful when problem arose with one of our party.
While initially a communication "issue" arose during our dining experience, the Manager at the time (Dick) was quick to alleviate any confusion, and was extremely fair and customer-focused, and personally made certain that our dining experience was as hoped. It is rare to find a Manager of Dick's caliber who truly takes care of his clientele. We will return soon for another Bravo dining experience!
Consistently good service and good food. We tried the chicken meatballs for the first time. They were very good. The salmon was excellent. Also liked the chicken Marsala. Service is always very good. We always enjoy Bravo.
We’re we not regulars at Bravo, our experience would not entice us to return. While we were seated promptly, from that point we were rushed through our meal. Everything from ordering to clearing the table while we were still eating, to bringing our checks before the table was cleared, to not asking if we wanted dessert and coffee (we did), was less than acceptable service. I’m pretty sure this was a management decision as it was “Sweetheart Dance” evening as demonstrated by the high school kids dressed up for their dates. The management should consider how often they will host high school kids vs senior adults that purchase wine, coffee , and dessert with their meals. I believe the short term goal has had a very negative impact upon where we next choose for our weekly dining out event. Look around Town Center at the number of restaurants available / does Bravo really want to chase us away in order to turn the table for a once a year event? Good management would not. Our dissatisfaction was demonstrated in the amount of gratuity that was left. Will definitely keep this experience in mind when booking our rotation for the next four weeks.
we dine here often and love the food and the staff - can never ask for a better dining experience!
Great experience at Bravo! Service was outstanding. The food was great! I had the vegetarian meatballs and pasta. It was great!
Bravo never disappoints! Good food; best choice of Italian in town.
BRAVO Cucina Italiana is an excellent Italian restaurant. Our entries were excellent and the service is very good. This is a good choice when dining in Leawood.
We had chicken Parm and it was not very tasty. Normally, it's very good. Also they served my cousin the wrong entree and had to remake it. Also, I had to ask three times for a glass of water. And, the food was slow coming at the kitchen. In fact, at one point, our server asked us if we were ready to order and we told her that we had ordered 15 minutes earlier. Disappointing experience at one of our favorite restaurants.
The food and service was really good! Atmosphere was excellent and the noise level was great- so you could talk without shouting. The service was fast. Excellent overall!
The atmosphere and the ambiance was great. The food was good too. However the service was terrible. Our waiter was interested in us until he took our order. Our glasses were empty for a long time. When I finally got his attention he brought us the most watered down tea I’ve ever seen. It was water essentially with a few swirls of brown. It was obvious to the look. He didn’t bother to correct it, just poured a ton of ice and the brown water and left. Then nothing until he brought the check.
Very disappointed with new menu. Very limited selections compared to old menu. Ordered spaghetti with pesto and chicken. Chicken was an extra cost.. Waitress delivered our meals.. Spaghetti was missing the chicken.. We told our waitress and she said they were still cooking it.
She did not take the plate of spaghetti back to the kitchen to complete the order.. About 7 minutes later she brought a cut up chicken breast on a separate plate. Very awkward.
We expressed dissatisfaction with the very limited selecrion and was told they had a new chef that cut out a lot of items.
Bravo used to be my "go to" for special occasions.. Not any more.. I will definately not be coming back!!!!
It was delicious.
Food always tasty service (Kate) friendly took care ensuring all @our table were happy
They were showcasing their new spaghetti menu items with a variance of meatballs but we opted for grilled shrimp and Pasta Bravo for our meals. My wife commented she didn't recall the grilled shrimp entree being this good even though it was good before. The Pasta Bravo was good too. I'm ordering hers next time. Bread and oil always a fav with soup or salad and their house salad is very good and only $4.99 with an entree. Tiramasu dessert was divine. We split it and with calories now on the menu, we were surprised it had the fewest calories which made it even better for my wife who had less than me by a far shot. I really couldn't care less about calories counting desserts. Seems like an oxymoron to me. If your going to do it, do it.
It may be the best in town with its carmelized drizzle. The chocolate molten cake with vanilla getato shouldn't be missed. I won't next time. But maybe I will as my sacrifice to sleep with my wife. lol We're regulars and eat out a few times a week. This place is on our monthly rotation and sometimes even more. It's always good and our server David was great.
Really poor service, very long wait for food and it wasn’t very busy. Must have been waiters first day because he did not have a clue, manager you could tell was upset with servers but didn’t tell customers anything, judged pouted all night. Same situation as everywhere, not enough people wanting to work and starting somewhere and working up. Hits service industry hard.
Celebrating my fiancé’s birthday.
Yum! The ambiance was quiet and the food was delicious!
Food was pretty tasteless
Went there to celebrate a birthday. Was a very nice atmosphere, very quiet. But then again it was the middle of the week in early January.
It was not the usual service level that we are used to at Bravo. Food was good but service was a bit slow and inconsistent.
We were at Bravo to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Frank was our server and he was wonderful. The meal was delicious and the service was the best I can ever remember getting anywhere. We will be back!
One of my favorite places. Great atmosphere. Delicious food.
Service was nearly adequate. Food was too salty, but otherwise okay. Order was inaccurate. First time I've ever had to request plates at a restaurant. Definitely overpriced for the value received.
Superb food, great service, on line reservation, best lobster bisque anywhere, all on a New Year’s Eve
We enjoyed. Good table. Excellent waiter.
Lupe was our server and she was delightful and did a great job. The manager always comes by and was great as usual. We love Bravo.
Service was quick food was great! Especially for New Years Eve and such a large group
We have gone with a group there for New Year's Eve for many years in a row because the food is always good and service is generally good, even when they are busy on New Year's.
