BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Jupiter - Harborside
We had a terrible experience during our visit to Bravo during Mother's day weekend. Not sure what was happening but it appears that some of their kitchen staff had quit that day and the new Head Chef miscalculated the food requirements for the day. Imagine going to an Italian restaurant for some traditional Italian dishes and pastas and find out that they are out of Veal, Pizza Dough, Pasta!!!! How can you run out of Pasta!!! That is your main ingredient. Awful experience. Felt bad for the Service Staff. They were forced to break the bad news to the customers. A lot of discontent and frustration that evening.
My wife and I have made at least 25 visits to the Bravo in Jupiter, and I 'm sorry to say we have made our last visit. We have always enjoyed the food, but, in the last year, there appears to be a major dis-connect between management, service staff, and the kirchen. On our last visit, May 12th, we had to wait 45 minutes for our food to arrive after we ordered. This has been the norm on our last three visits. A manager came to our table, shrugged her shoulders when I expklained the problem, and walked away. The bread plates and empty glasses were never cleared during the meal. I know this sounds picky, but we consider ourselves loyal customers. There has to be a better way to run an established restaurant. Fortunately for us, there are many dining choices in the Tequesta/Jupiter area.
BRAVO Cucina being a favorite restaurant, our party of six had reservations for 5:30 on Mother's Day. Expecting on street parking to be limited we planned to park in the parking ramp, which was a very wise decision. After a short wait, less than five minutes, we were seated. Our server, Trace, was excellent, attentive but not hovering. He took our drink orders and upon returning with drinks, also brought bread and dipping oil, and took our dinner orders everything was great until Trace returned to tell us that they were out of lobster bisque and veal dishes. A number of the party ordered the bisque and two ordered veal. Trace quickly brought menus so another selection could be made. More than forty five minutes after we order our meals, Trace, who checked back with us regularly, informed us that it would be another 20 to 25 minutes before our food would be out. At that point we ask to speak to a manager. I explained to the floor manager, Dana, that we had driven from Vero Beach (which is an over an hour away) and had now been waiting for more than 45 minutes and were facing another 25 minute wait. I also explained that we were quite disappointed that there was no more bisque and they had run out of veal dishes, which had been the preferred choice, so early into the dinner hour. Dana returned to tell us that the GM would comp our meals. I was not expecting this resolution but was very happy that this was the way things ended up. BRAVO is still a favorite restaurant however I do not think we will dine here on a holiday. I still would recommend BROVO Cucina for date night and special occasions. Thanks to Trace and Dana for understanding our disappointment and coming to a very satisfactory resolution.
I went and they told me they didn’t have tables and then I found a reservation online, by the time I was seated they told me they didnt have enough staff and that the food was going to take about 45 min even if it was an appetizer and the manager was very rude to me and my family
Food was very bland
Mother’s Day Lunch
I took in to account it was mother’s day and we were A party
Of 10.. it took forever to get our appetizers, and then refills on drinks were impossible. When we finished our apps we stacked the plates in the center of the table. Then we waited A bit longer and our food showed up and that’s when the dishes were removed. We got refills that we desperately needed. We finished and our check was dropped off, we were never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert.. but we had already been there over 2 hours so I’m sure she wanted to turn the table or go home.. food was good but not worth the poor service
It was the first Brunch for Bravo and they need to work out some kinks in the kitchen. Meals were delivered at different times and way late. The food was awesome!
Good food, good mix, nice scenery
My only suggestion is to have more choices for vegans.
We were disappointed that they changed their menu, no flatbreads and various main courses were missing, I hope they redo the menu we love this restaurant.
Have eaten here many times and the food is always excellent. On this occasion it was Prom night for local schools and very crowded. Because of that, service was a little slow but still very good. We were not in a hurry so we just relaxed and enjoyed the AC.
Waitress failed to bring the propers salad to the table we had to asked for rolls and brought the wrong type of pasta with my dinner. However management did the right thing and remove the meal form my bill
Very good will definitely be going to
Exceptional service. Our server was attentive, courteous and friendly. All six loved our dinners
Especially the "meatless" meatball pasta.
Ridiculously long wait time for food. Clearly they were unprepared for a crowd when we were there. The manager ended up working in the kitchen to help get the food out. The wait staff was trying their best to make things better, but it was hopeless. The food when it came was delicious as always, but the wait time was ridiculously long. Come on Bravo! You can do better.
There were nine of us in our party requiring 5 separate checks which placed an extra burden on our server. She handled the ordering and serving well but since there were some diverse demands from some of our party things got a little disorganized checking out. Over all it was a great experience.
Plenty of Space
Shrimp Fra Diavlo was outstanding. We wanted to share the dish.Waiter brought it out in 2 separate plates and felt like eating our own dish.
Bravo always has great food and service. Only problem for our party of six sitting outside was loud barking dogs. Phony service dogs should be shown the exit.
Alyssa, our server, was amazing!
She was very attentive and made sure that we enjoyed our food and had a great experience overall. The food was very good, and we hope to visit Bravo again soon.
we had a lovely table for our party of ten.table was ready when we got there. our server was excellent.
food was very good. a very nice evening with our family
Great food and service
Very surprised to find this gem in Harborside. Was expecting this to be average chain type Italian, and instead found Bravo to be a cool, trendy place with lots of interesting choices. I had the salmon with was one of the best, and freshest salmon I've had. My husband had a veal scallopini dish which he customized, and they were happy to accommodate him. The ambiance is lovely and though the crowd was vibrant, the noise level was moderate. We will definitely come back.
Disappointed with dinner...grilled shrimp was served with only 5 large shrimp (31/35)....orzo, faro, arugula and red pepper aioli..not a good value...
Taking in many factors, this is probably the best restaurant in the Jupiter area. The food is always high quality, service and ambiance is very good, and the selection and prices are excellent. The pasta dishes are exceptional.
Everything from reception, service and food was outstanding. Highly recommend.
Good meal, very busy and loud and service could be better.
We were there with an old friend from Houston and was not rushed. It was a plesant evening. Thanks to our waiter.
The food was as very good and the server was great. The only bad thing was that it took a long time to get our food.
'New menu', not so great. Guests said the food was "so-so". My dish had to be sent back, cold. The waitress said it would have to be remade. We said "No", the other guests in our party would be finished by that time. "Just reheat the dish" we said. The other times we were there, it seemed the food was better. Thank you.
We had a very nice dinner and our waiter Ernest went above and beyond to make sure we all enjoyed our meal.
Would go back and would recommend it to friends. Very good value for the quality of both the food and the service.
We sat outside and it was very pleasant. The food was great as was our server.
We always have a great meal at Bravo. My husband says it’s the best chicken parmigiana around!
We enjoyed our meal - all entries and the shrimp appetizer were 5*. Server was friendly and service was excellent.
Our bartender was wonderful. She made great drinks and gave us tips about the menu.
The food at Bravo was excellent. Pasta was cooked perfectly, pork chop was tender and seasoned very well. Our waitress left a little to be desired but was overall nice. Quality Italian food can be difficult to find in Florida coming from a true New Yorker, but Bravo definitely checked off all the right boxes.
Bravo is always a good place to eat! Love the location (Harbourside). Our table was right next to the kitchen, so we could hear every order being called out (reminded us of Hell's Kitchen!!) But the wait staff was excellent and the food was great! So, we didn't mind at all! Highly recommend!
Excellent device the veal parmigiana was prepared just the way I asked. Overall a good experience
