BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Greensboro - Friendly Center
As someone who has had some great times at this restaurant this is the second bad experience in a row so I will not be returning.
Not only did our server not return with refills until we received our cold food, we were never offered bread while we waited. It was not busy in the sense of clients but there seemed to be plenty for our server and another server to be discussing instead of being attentive to their patrons.
She did not return to ask us about our food, we had to flag her down to even get our check so we could leave this disappointing dinner.
Not sure if management changes have occurred in past 6 months but things certainly are not at same standards that they once were.
First time at Bravo. Open Table worked perfectly for making the reservation. Enjoyed it!
We have been many times to this location with large groups and this is the first time we were not happy. The restaurant was not busy at all so we thought we would have quicker, more efficient service. We did not. The waitress was fine but seemed overwhelmed. We constantly had to ask for more drinks and there was never but a few pieces of ice in them. Food was ok but it seems the menu has changed and there was not very much of a selection anymore. We ordered coffee with our dessert and would have liked to have had an additional cup for the price but she never came back to the table after leaving our checks. Luckily, we had the right change and could leave. It was a birthday celebration that fell flat. We were very disappointed and will not return to this location.
Our server, Laura was phenomenal. It was our first time there and she was patient and helpful with suggestions and recommendations. She was pleasant, friendly and not at all intrusive. The restaurant wasn’t very busy due to us dining late (8:30pm) during the week, but the noise level was pretty loud regardless. Needs some sound panels installed.
My family absolutely loves Bravo’s. My husband and I ordered the pasta woozie and it was really dry. We didn’t say anything because the waitress was very busy and it took her a while to get back to our table periodically.
Immediately seated. Server was fairly prompt but failed to supply straws with the drinks. Food was outstanding, checkout went smoothly however had to ask server for olive oil to take home after she had volunteered to put some in the take home bags. A rather picky review but at those prices you expect excellence!!
The food was good. Was surprised that we could get reservations on Father's Day! That was a plus. The only concern I had was that our waiter didn't refill our water glasses enough.
Went to lunch after church on Father’s Day. The restaurant was very busy and we sat near the kitchen expedition area. Unfortunately my father’s hearing is poor so he struggled to stay in the conversation. The food was good as always and we were otherwise happy.
This was our first visit since they changed their menu last year (according to the waitress). Both of our favorites have been removed from the menu and the rest of the items have increased in price. The food is ok but I expect more than ok for the prices. This used to be a favorite spot but it will come off the list for us.
I went for lunch with a group of friends. The temperature was unbearably cold and everyone at the table was cold. I brought a jacket and I was still cold.
Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. The food was good, well presented, and good portion size for lunch.
There was a shortage of wait staff and the bartender was waiting tables and keeping bar. I had to ask for service from another waiter.
I feel like I paid full price for half of the dining experience at a nicer restaurant. I expect this lack of staffing assistance at IHOP or similar, not Bravo. I have been there many times only during lunch so I know the difference.
The food was amazing and the service was great!! Loved the atmosphere..
Bravo was our Friday night date place.. every week .. until you changed your menu a while back. Too many favorites are gone.
Our granddaughter from out of town requested Bravo for her 14th birthday celebration. Food was okay .. value I cant give a five for .. our server however gets a 5!
Wish I could convince my husband to dine more often like we use to .. but his favorites are gone.
Food and service was good. The coffee was not hot, but we were not charged for it. Hot coffee was requested and delivered. Free birthday gelato was a nice touch. Most importantly, the changes in the menu will probably keep us from eating here again. The brunch has been reduced to only a few options and sandwiches have nearly disappeared as options. Both of those are very disappointing.
Best service I’ve had in a very long time. Food came out fast. Drinks we always filled without asking. Plates cleared without asking. Food was excellent. Server went above and beyond to make my sons graduation celebration special.
Your service was able to book a table for 10 on a Friday evening at 6 p.m. when there was considerable demand due to multiple high school graduations. I thought it would be impossible since I waited so late to request a table but you met my need for which I am grateful. I will definitely use your service in the future. Many thanks.
Consistent and good. Nice bar and great ambiance.
Great service! Ryan was attentive and engaging. Lunch portions could be bigger.
Everything was excellent: the food, atmosphere and especially our server (Mike)!
He made the evening outstanding!
bravo was amazing! The restaurant was clean and nice. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Our server was wonderful ! The food was delicious. I have absolutely no complaints!
Best lasagna I've ever had, extra meaty!
Will definitely go again when I am in Greensboro.
I had a coupon for s free appetizer and we chose the meatballs with polenta. Since there were 4 us, it would have been nice to know that there were only 2 meatballs on that app. I was never offered a 2nd glass of wine, my husband had to ask for his 2nd scotch and my friend never got his beer. She did apologize for forgetting. She didn’t offer coffee or dessert. Considering you weren’t very busy, it seems like she would have wanted to increase our bill and our stay. She was very pleasant though, these are just some pointers for future guests. The food was amazing and we will be back. I appreciate that you don’t have to be a party of 8 before they’ll take a reservation.
The food was terrible but the service was great. I ordered a spicy shrimp pasta dish and it tasted very fishy like it wasn’t cleaned properly.
Waiter was too quick to take order when we asked for extra minutes to decide. Two at the table still eating entree’s and he was trying to take a dessert order.
Chef did not include a standard component on the Salmon salad (2 entree’s) and issue corrected when asked.
We've been there last year and the food was tastier with more sauce, this time was not that good.
Always a wonderful experience and great food and service was exceptional!
Bravo is getting more disappointing each time I go. It took almost 2 hours for us to complete our visit there and not by choice. It was not busy. Many empty tables, tons of staff but our server would disappear for 15-20 minutes at a time. When we finally received our meal, it was apparent it had been sitting under the heat lamps for a long time. All the sauce had dried up on my lobster ravioli, my friends scampi was dry and it took 10 minutes for my friend to get mayo for her very bland turkey sandwich. Even The hostesses have even become unfriendly. A previous visit at around 1pm I asked for a table for 2 and there was a wait. So I asked if I could sit at the bar (the actual bar) and she told me no. Found that odd. Has Bravo changed hands??
I am ever so grateful to the wonderful staff you assisted my peers and I in surprising our company Director of Operations for lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant was clean, and we didn't wait long for our food. Definitely worthy of the restaurants namesake, BRAVO!!! Thank you
Awesome service as usual. Was impressed on how clean the kitchen is and to see staff cleaning was refreshing.
Very nice place that we would eat at again. We liked the looks of restaurant and the food was good.
The service and food was great. Only issue I had was wait time. I got their 15mins before my time and the waitress told me she would get us back the time we schedule. But I didn’t go back until 15min AFTER my time. I understand that it was Mother’s Day and it’s busy but I scheduled a time for a reason and expected to be back on time.
Service was mediocre. Had reservations and still waited 30mins. but I do realize it was a holiday. Food was great, but menu is a little pricey. I will go back, but not frequently.
Restaurant was two thirds full when we were seated at 4pm Sunday, Mother's Day.
Waited over 10 minutes after being seated before asking a nearby waitress who handled our table. She came back and said she was told it was her table.
Asked for ice water with lemons, got water but had to ask again for lemons.
Was not offered bread. Had to ask for bread twice, showed up after our meals did.
Ordered soup and an entree, both showed up together, delivered by another waitress who claimed I requested both at the same time. I did not and was not asked if I wanted both together.
This is one of our favorite restaurants but this experience was the worst we've ever had there.
It seems to be experiencing a lot of wait staff turnover and new employees are not getting any customer service training including how to take and handle food and drink orders.
Still willing to recommend but not if this happens to us again.
Food was amazing and the ambiance was fantastic. However, the greeters did not know what to do where reservations where concerned. I had put in a reservation weeks ahead of Mother’s Day. We arrived ten minutes early and wound up waiting almost an hour to be seated. Other parties (same amount of people) who were not on the reservation list (drop ins) were seated faster than us. When I inquired, I was provided some aimless reason that was not coherent. Why even have a reservation list if they weren’t going to utilize it?
As usual the food was delicious and the service was great. Had the grilled shrimp which was outstanding. I can't wait to go again.
My biggest problem was the wait time for our table. We had a 1:00pm reservation on Mother’s Day and we were not seated until after 1:30pm. I assume the restaurant over booked.
I have always been a loyal fan of Bravo's, but something has changed. It is either the new chef or new owners. The service is very slow and while pleasant, the wait staff does not seem well trained. Have to ask for bread, forget to bring all the drinks. The food has really gone down hill as the new chef has changed recipes on a number of items. The Salmon was overcooked and the chicken dishes lacked enough sauce and had a bland flavor. I use to love the bolanegese sauce, but it is now different, in a negative way. Please get the previous management and chef back, or I won't be back.
We went on mother's day so factor that in. Food was good, service great. They are better on s regular night.
Exceptional service from Lana and authentic pasta that was out of this world! Tiramisu made to perfection, not dry like most other places when it is served like cake. It was perfect proportions of rum, coffee, and mascarpone cheese. My ONLY complaint is the spices they use to grill the salmon were too salty. I had to wipe it off. Awesome salmon though!!!
We were very disappointed when we went for Mother’s Day brunch. Last year they had a good selection of brunch items. This year it was mainly the regular menu which has changed and not for the better
Brunch was delicious and a great value. I’ve told at least 20 people how much I enjoyed it....
