BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Fredericksburg - Spotsylvania
The service was extremely slow and the restaurant was basically empty. Only 2 other tables. It took an hour to get our food and when we finished eating, we waited another 25 mins until the server came by to see if we needed anything - which we needed our checks. The checks were wrong and had to be redone. The food was fine. Overall, the restaurant was fine, but I don't see myself going back.
Wonderful Place for any adult gathering. I celebrated my 50th and it was wonderful. Food was reasonable price. Not very cheap but not expensive. Parking was a challenge because it was in a town center. Our waiter was ok BUT for a Nice restaurant the waiter need to be more outstanding. I would give the place a 5 star but feel the waiter could have been upscale all smile and cheerful. He was not bad but needed someone more talkative and friendly. But other than that it was a wonderful Experience.
Loved it went with my husband and Father and we all loved the food our waitress was outstanding.
Delicious food, love the new grass-fed options for beef. The menu has really gotten better since we were here last. Definitely on our list of favorites, hope to be back soon!
Great dinner and great service. Kara was great and the food was delicious!
When we travel to Fredericksburg we always go to Bravo for dinner. Delicious and service is great.
This was our second time being there and it was as good as the first time. Food is great and so is the service. Even though they were very busy, our server was very attentive.
Shrimp were over cooked as well as cut potatoes. We went for brunch.
Inside is elegant. Outside seating is charming. Entrees are well prepared although smaller than average portion sizes. Really enjoyed the desserts; again the size relative to the price could be improved.
First time visitors to this restaurant. Made a reservation via Open Table. We arrived on time and were greeted with a smile and the hostess found our reservation quickly. She seated us in a lovely booth next to the window. Our server Ashanti could not have made our visit any more pleasant. She was happy, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious from appetizer to dessert. The Pecorino Dip is to die for and served with fresh green apple, sweet honey and fresh, crusty bread. Our entrees were hot and as expected. I had Shrimp Scampi and my husband had Lobster Ravioli. We shared a Tiramisu for dessert; just enough for a sweet bite after dinner. The wine is a bit pricey which is the only thing they might consider adjusting. Wine is so nice with dinner but it should not cost as much as an entree!
I got the grilled salmon and was disappointed. Sometimes trying to be different in a dish can go wrong. I didn't expect the salmon to be on top of several vegetables. No rice, potatoes - just all cooked vegetables. The cube cut sweet potatoes were overwhelming the dish. The plate reminded me of a salad. The salmon was good but the different vegetables underneath it threw me off. The restaurant is nice inside and has a nice ambience. I requested a window seat and it was honored. I probably should have ordered a more Italian dish and not the salmon.
Service was a little slow but our table was ready upon arrival, food was very good, and they offer military discount.
My hubby and I choose this location for Date Night. We were seated at a booth along the window. The window ledge was dusty with remnants of past meals (crumbs) visible. We ordered the artichoke dip for our appetizer when it arrived 20 minutes later it was literally ice cold. Our meal was mediocre at best.
The menu and food quality has changed. I dined here some time ago and loved it. This was for a birthday celebration and had expected much more.
Bravo was the perfect place to celebrate a memorable milestone for our family. The staff was very warm and attentive, not to mention polite. Everyone in our party of 18 enjoyed their meal. The Veal parmigiana was spot on. we really enjoyed ourselves and Bravo helped make it a day to remember.
WE went there for a graduation dinner. They were great. Great food. Happy atmosphere. Definitely will be back.
This last time we went was meh. We were celebrating our 6 year anniversary and the food was okay, the waiter was okay, no extra effort, it was a Saturday night and we had reservations at 730 PM, got our table right away, but it was all meh. The selection was limited and no coffee available. We are the parents of twin 4-year-olds so when we go out we like to be a bit pampered. Didn't get that feeling this time. We will try again next year, might have been just an off night.
The food was amazing. I had lobster ravioli, my friend had lasagna and our dates had spaghetti & meatballs! All were delicious! Our server Joe was absolutely amazing!
In order to get the comment section I had to rate the restaurant, but there was nothing to rate... I made reservation and when we arrived at there, showed the host my phone with the open table reservation and she said - "oh, our website was messed up and it kept taking reservations when we had none, so this reservation is not valid"... If you would like to wait, we can seat you as soon as possible... So,, not at all a good experience, especially since this was first time using Open Table.... DISAPPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT
This is the second time that we have dined at BRAVO. We had reservations and it still took us ~ an hour to get our food. Service was really poor, mixed up entrees.
The best service, great food. All the staff was very nice and accommodative. Food and atmosphere were excellent! We had our son's graduation party. Definitely, we will be back for casual dinners/lunches.
We found Bravo online. We were unfamiliar with the area and were in search of a pre-race pasta dinner. We had reservations and were seated on time on a Friday night. The food was good. The wait staff was friendly and professional. The meal was timed nicely. It was a good experience and the athlete in our group had a great race the following morning.
I wish the food quality was as nice as the ambience.
The bread and the salad where good. But the main course wasn't all that. Definitely not for the price we paid. The atmosphere is very nice.
Food was OK.. nothing special. Service was SO slow. It took an hour to get our food, drinks weren’t refilled and dishes piled up on table.
We have eaten here multiple times. Best to go when there is no crowd. Late afternoon but before 6pm. Food quality is inconsistent but good when there is less pressure on the kitchen. Service is always polite but again suffers at peak times. We will go again with these things in mind.
Good food and service.
Removed my favorite menu item. Sausage tortellini.
We were on vacation in Virginia and just stopped by this restaurant. Delicious food and service was superb! Service was fast and friendly
Donna is the best server. She pays close attention to our needs and we never had to ask for anything.
Food and service were very good.....place was almost empty [a typical Tuesday eve?] Ordered Shrimp Scampi and salad...both were served as ordered. Minor point....bread accompanying Scampi dish was stale as was the bread served pre-meal.
The food we received was cold and one entree was incorrect. The steak was very salty and the other meals had little flavor. The desserts we received were still frozen and flavor was okay. Overall, there are other Italian places that have much better food for the price. The quality has gone down significantly downhill and we will not be planning to return. Our server was awesome.
Great service, handicap accessible and delightful food
The service was great! The waitress was responsive. The food was good.
Bravo's is one of our favorite restaurants in the Fredericksburg area. The food is always good and the serving staff friendly. The menu offers a wide variety of choices including pastas, pork chops, grilled salmon, and shrimp. Their loyalty program is very generous. We often receive $10 off or a free appetizer. Look forward to our next visit!
Get together with some family, it was excellent as always!
Waiting too long for foods. the service was ok. A lot of change in the menu and not many options
Great service! Staff was helpful and friendly.
I made a reservation for a group of eight, and Bravo put us, unasked, in the private room. That was so perfect for us! The table in that room is round, so everyone could hear everyone else easily. The food selections, taste, appearance and value were spot on. Every time someone recommends a place to eat, I tell them to try Bravo.
