BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Des Peres - West County Mall
They refused to open the patio claiming that it was going to rain... everywhere else had an open patio and the only reason we went there was to have a nice brunch in the patio area, so we were very disappointed.
Very nice selection. Really good lunch value. Definitely a spot for a nicer business lunch.
It was our first time dining at BRAVO. My husband and I loved the atmosphere. The manager went out of her way to make sure our dining experience was a positive one. The spaghetti with "meatless" veggie meatballs was outstanding. My husband's chicken was overcooked, but the manager changed out his plate immediately and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Creme Brûlée was delicious. We will definitely be back!
Everything was great.
Service was top notch and the food was perfect.
We had a great experience. Waited about ten minutes before they seated us after our reservation but that was fine on a busy Mothers Day. Service was prompt and spot on through the meal. Grilled salmon salad was terrific and wife enjoyed the house salad and chicken parm.
Service was bad. Food was subpar vs. the price. The dishes are small proportion.
The first few times I ate here I loved it but the last couple times the food hasn’t been nearly as good.
The restaurant itself was very nice and had a nice atmosphere and great food! I highly recommend getting the creme brulee, it was delicious! The hostess didn't seem the most inviting and seemed to have a judgy look on her face and didn't smile. The server we had however was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed.
We finally got the "real deal pomodoro sauce" and it was good. The Callamary were cooked perfectly
One of our favorite places in St. Louis. We are glad to have it here since we enjoyed the one on the Country Club Plaza when we lived in Kansas City. My favorite dish is chicken caprese.
Great service & many wonderful entrees to choose from on their menu!
The food and prices are good; it's a great place to meet up with friends.
Overall experience was good. Food was very good. Server/bartender could have been a little more inviting and attentive. Food runner and busser made up for it and were both friendly and attentive to our needs.
We had a lovely evening at Bravo's. Our waiter was outstanding and made us feel right at home. We have dined there many times with our whole family and just the two of us. They accommodate all size parties. Our food was delicious. I especially enjoy the Shrimp Napoli, which is listed as an appetizer but is large enough to be a main entree with a side of pasta. Yum.
It was ok, I wish they offered more soup choices.
Menu was very limited.
Food was overpriced.
Food was bland.
Wait staff was amazing!
Our family and friends have been to Bravo many times. We always find the staff friendly, competent and professional, plus the food is very good and the selection suits a variety of tastes. We will keep coming We do miss the complimentary mints, though.
Caesar salad is wa must - crunchy, crisp, fresh green romaine and slices of Parmesan ..the pesto pasta was perfect
Very disappointed that your company took away the brunch. I live close by and we loved to just run there and get breakfast. Just my opinion but you have lost a lot of business to First Watch. Who does serve a great breakfast/ brunch. You do ITALIAN very very well and everybody knows that already. What’s wrong with a little diversion once in a while. It’s only on Sunday after all.
Good service and food, place was quite enough we could talk. Plenty of kids and accommodating staff as we had our 1 year old with us. Good selection of kids menu items.
We have dined at Bravo a number of times and always enjoyed the very good service, ambiance and food. The salad and Italian Wedding soup were delicious. This time was no different, except for one thing. Both our dishes were overly salted. The Chicken Marsala was very tasty but the chicken was a touch overcook, the green beans were pretty salty. My wife ordered the Pasta Bravo which she found very salty and lacking in any other flavor. She almost sent it back.
Overall, our experience has always been good at Bravo and we will go back. Next time we will mention the saltiness when ordering.
The food and service was top notch. Loved that we were able to make reservation and were seated quickly. Also loved that the noise level allowed for us to talk and actually hear each other!
Ordered the salad and lobster ravioli. Salad was good. The ravioli sauce had no taste, plus the shrimp were the tiny salad shrimp. Dish would have been more appealing with 3 or 4 good size shrimp. Plus, parmesan cheese was not offered.
Very good, food, atmosphere and service.. went there for a celebration.
We love that they gave our son dough to keep him occupied. Then baked it for him. His new favorite restaurant! Food and service were awesome as well!
Wish the restaurant would of had ‘specials’ the evening we went. It was a Friday during lent and we couldn’t eat meat. I had the lobster ravioli, it was good but it’s always my ‘go to’ dish. More options during Lent please 🙂
Great service, yummy food. Our waiter was exceptionally good!
Great food and wonderful atmosphere. Sure a beautiful restaurant. Look forward to going again.
They used to have an extensive menu; their new menu is small. One of my favorite menu items, the spinach and bacon flatbread, has been discontinued. I asked the waitress why it was discontinued, but she didn't know. She acknowledged it was one of their best menu items. Will not return.
20 minute wait even with a reservation for 2 people
Came in for happy hour which is GERAT!! Stayed a while after because we were enjoying everything so much! We will be back!
They got our order incorrect twice.
We had a group of 9 and were able to sit in the back of the restaurant which gave us the opportunity to talk and celebrate 3 birthdays! Everyone liked their food and the staff was great!
The food was very good. Service was excellent. I would recommend to family and friends. We had a reservation and was seated immediately.
Even though it was very crowded and our waitress had a very large table of customers, she was very attentive to our table of four. The food was very tasty, the wine good, And they didn’t rush us.
I only wish they would serve the water and other drinks without straws. We left our stress unopened on the table And I hope they did not throw them in the trash.
It was as expected
Very disappointed in the experience. We have visited Bravo many times in the past, but will not be coming back. My son brought his college girlfriend home to meet the family and we decided to take them to Bravo for dinner. After being seated we waited for a server to come tell us that there was a delay since no-one knew who had our table. The food came out quickly for three of us. Apparently my sons order was missed. Since the three of us waited for his food to arrive our food became cold.
Again, very dissatisfied.
The dishes looked appetizing but the Rigatoni and spaghetti pesto had a fairly bland taste. Our appetizers the chicken meatballs and shrimp were tasty. Our waitress was attentive but seemed overwhelmed. She add charges to our bill accidentally twice. She needs polishing.
We had to send our pasta dish back to the kitchen because it was not served to us warm, it was quite cool. They warmed it up & had it back to us in a very short period of time!
