BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Columbus - Bethel Road
Food was delicious and portions were great! We will definitely return.
Server was great! The hostess was a bit argumentative about our reservation. At first she said we didn't have one. I showed her the confirmation. She then told us we were there on the wrong day. I reiterated that we were indeed there on the right day. She then said she was the one looking at the wrong date. She told us members of our party already arrived and lead us to the table which had people we did not know and were not in our party. We then when back to the front to wait while a table was set for our reservation. It wasn't a huge deal in the big scheme of things, but the attitude of the hostess was not pleasant.
Poor service from our waitress as she was making up rules that didn't appear on the menus such as Kids Drinks which state are provided free of charge with the kids meal to age 12. She said it only applied to kids up to age 8. Similar types of issues the entire meal and very slow in responding. Untypical of visits there in the past.
Our server John was excellent. Always right there if we needed anything. However, left us to enjoy our time together. Everyone loved their meal. The chicken scaloppini was the best. The chicken itself was moist and flavorful. I subbed vegetables for the pasta. There was a mix of aspargus, green beans and mushrooms. Very pleasant evening.
Wonderful food, great service and a loyalTy discount- can’t beat it!
We had great service and dining experience at Bravo. Our waitress did a phenomenal job!
Server and busser were very personable and efficient. Would like to see salad included with entreee without exorbitant price increase.
Resturant feels dated. Waiter was okay and food was okay. Chicken was burnt and a glass of wine (9oz) cost $17.00! Do not see the value.
Believe this will be my last visit.
Our dining experience at Bravo was wonderful. However I'm not sure why I didn't get my 100 points from Open Table. I was signed in when I was making the reservations, but there was nowhere to check that I wanted to collect the points.
We had a excellent experience at Bravo on Hayden Run
Excellent eggplant parmigiana. The eggplant was not at all greasy or soggy which is a welcome change from standard fare. the eggplant was also sliced lengthwise which I prefer. My daughter had the homemade spaghetti with pesto which was worth ordering again. As an appetizer we tried the chicken meatballs on risotto. Perfectly fine but nothing to try again in my opinion. Ceasar salads were above average but for me we lacking enough green with most the lettuce being very pale and more stem than leaf. Good dressing with sufficient garlic. enough dressing to coat the lettuce my wife would think it a bit heavy handed but I like Caesar dressing just a bit on the heavy side. Service was attentive without being intrusive. a very enjoyable meal. We had lost touch with Bravo but will be returning it to list of regular destinations. The staff has been consistently good the 4-5 times we have eaten here in the last year.
I loved everything about it. My filet was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were awesome. The drinks were strong and fruity. You could tell they were fresh. The berry dessert was 100%. Amazing. Our server was super nice.
The four of us all had delicious meals. I had the Mediterranean salad (delicious with its veggies and balsamic glaze) and the others had spaghetti and meatballs (all good). For dessert we had the chocolate lava cake with ice cream - yummy! Our server Louis did a great job and he was refreshingly cheerful.
Had the lunch combo: chopped salad to start and the eggplant parm. Portions were large; I took 1/2 the eggplant & accompanying spaghetti home for lunch the next day. The salad was delicious, as was the eggplant. A bit too much garlic in the spaghetti for me. (And I am a garlic lover). Bread was nice and fresh. Service was good. Asked for dressing on the side and the salad came already dressed. I ate it. It was terrific, but more caloric.
Bravo is a “go to” place for us ....we always enjoy.
First time there everything was great. Will return as there was menu items I want to try.
Service has REALLY gone down hill here. They took forever to bring menus, take our order than apparently forgot to turn our order into the kitchen. It seemed a large party took all of their attention and service.
The food has always been fantastic, the service prompt and professional, and only once have we not been able to get a table. We visit as a special occasion deserves the luxury of this, and sometimes just when we want to, highly recommended!
We celebrated our nephews 16th birthday. The food was excellent, but the server, NesrinB, was great. She was very personable, and gave us excellent service during the whole meal.
I wasn’t originally that excited about dinner out the night we went to Bravo but we had the BEST service we have had in a very long time. Our waitress was amazing in every respect- very personable with spot on recommendations. She was amazing with our two kids- thoughtful and kind. We will definitely go back for family dinners!
Consistently great food @ Bravo and our waiter was excellent. Great evening out!
All the food was very good, except my father complained that his spaghetti meal was Dry. Twice he had the waiter bring extra sauce. The building is also somewhat loud, and we had a little trouble hearing each other when speaking at a reasonable tone for a restaurant. Overall, I really like Bravo, and their menu has many items I enjoy.
My date and I had a very nice evening. The food was great and arrived at our table on time and hot. I appreciate the server and the care she exhibited.
I love Bravo, however I find it is so inconsistent. I was st this location twice in one week. My salad was so different each time, size, dressing.
My soup, lobster bisque, was just ok.
Bravo is one of my favorite restsurants. This visit seemed a little stressed. The server had too many tables, but was doing her best. The salad seemed very much on the skimpy side, for the Insalata Della casa.
The service appears to have gone done under the new ownership. We waited a long time for our food, then it was not warm once it came.
We enjoyed our dinner at Bravo for the first time under the new owner. We have not been impressed with the menu redo, so we went back to the basics - veal farm. It was an excellent choice.
The food and service were great. The food portions keep getting smaller
It was just ok. Brio at easton has way better food. Overpriced for the food. Did not taste gourmet at all.
A new waitress was supposed to be serving us but didn’t realize she had our table, so we sat there over 10 minutes without being addressed or given water. We complained to the manager who offered to buy our dinners. We turned down his offer and was given a very good waiter who took care of us. It gets noisy in here but the food is wonderful.
Very disappointed in this Bravo experience, not the Bravo we used to know. The bread was warm but dried out; the pasta woozie was all stuck together; the pork chop was like it was grilled the previous day, warmed over and dipped in a glaze; the shrimp was undercooked. We won't be going back to Bravo.
Horrible service and server was very rude. Never had such a negative experience
We enjoyed Bravo but we do miss their excellent flatbread. It’s no longer available. We’d like to see them bring it back.
Insalata Della Casa (spelling may be off) was fresh and a good size for a starter.
New Spaghetti Bolognese, however, was very dry. Second time I've had it since recipe was changed from the Doody family's. It was really dry both times, so, a disappointment. The Doody's original recipe with carrots was simply much better. Bread service has always needed help. Bravo used to be one of my family's favorite restaurants, but, food quality simply isn't what it used to be. Recent changes to menu are an improvement from what was, but, still don't compare to the original owners' menu. We really miss dining there weekly. Server provided good service; Ambiance at Bethel still nice, but, some cosmetic upgrades are needed. Restaurant looks tired these days.
I was able to reserve 24 hours in advance for a party of 11. That is very convenient. We were served promptly and the food came out swiftly after placing the orders. Everyone was pleased with their dishes, which ranged across salads, pasta and sandwiches. The bills were individual and delivered without fuss to each of us.
My only minor complaint is that I wish my hot water for my tea was hotter!
Great food, great service. My book club has been meeting at this location monthly. We love the round table in the corner.
We had not been to Bravo’s in a few years. Usually we go to Carrabbas. A coupon in the mail made us try Bravo again. Though the prices are competitive, the serving size was smaller at Bravo. Carrabbas entrees also include a salad, larger portions and better bread. The food was good but, for reasons stated above, we will not be returning
Enjoyed my Mom’s birthday dinner!
We waited an hour for our food and those around us who arrived after were served their meals before us. The poor waiter was beside himself as there were only 2 of us. He was going to send the manager over to apologize and the manager didn’t bother to come to our table. The waiter offered to give us our meals for free as we needed up having to get them to go because we have reserved seats at the theater. I couldn’t let him waive the bill as I was concerned he would get in trouble since again the manager didn’t seem concerned. Sadly this was our first Dinning experience after moving to the area from Pennsylvania. Such a sad first impression.
Absolutely amazing food, awful waiter. Was in a massive hurry and wrote down my food order completely wrong. Then he brings me out the wrong thing and is ultra rude and completely unapologetic. All the tables around us were complaining about him as well.
