BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Cincinnati - Rookwood Exchange
This is the second visit in 2 weeks. Excellent!
This chain continues to disappoint - at best. Pasta was cold. Last time the dish was plated wrong and took half of dinner to get it right. The time before 2 pizzas were soggy.
This new manager is worthless. After a history of good management all have left after the chain was taken private. This has shown up in poor quality of food, and a manager with negative personality. He does not even remember his regular customers. The assistant is much better.
There has almost been a 100% turn of staff in the dining room. We hardly recognize anyone and the servers now always seem to be trainees.
But how do you serve cold pasta or soggy pizza or plate green beans instead of asparagus? How do you have servers who never check back to see if things are OK.
Service and food was great.
Wedding soup (again) not hot enough. Small Caesar was way too small and dressing was overly garlicy.
It seemed they were short staffed so our lunch took almost 2 hours total. The food was OK just a bit bland for my taste. Nothing to write home about.
Ate after 9pm at the bar; requested double pasta in my entree, and asked for alcohol to be split off from food tab so I could pay that separately (not on company credit card).
There were no raised eye brows; my high-maintenance food request, tab charge for double noodles” ($3.95) + requested split tab were all accommodated without delay, w/o comment, + without error by kitchen staff, food runner, and bar tender.
I left the restaurant an hour later feeling like I just enjoyed spaghetti and “Sunday Sauce” at a friend’s kitchen island while she tidied up after hosting a house full of guests for dinner.
It was a peaceful and relaxing end to a long work week away from home. May make this a Norwood work travel tradition moving forward.
FYI, this location is on Open Table so use the app to make a res (even if it’s right before you walk over from either hotel across the street) so you get Open Table points for the visit.
Booked a 7:45pm reservation with the open table app. Arrived on time and wasn’t greeted, place looked like management didn’t have the night under control at all - several disgruntled customers, overall disorder, etc. Finally got to speak with the gentleman at the front who quite frankly is the reason I plan to never return. Extremely unfriendly, gave me the vibe that I was bothering him, offered know apologies, you know the type.. anyway, told me there were parties ahead of me and that it would be a good 30-45 min wait even though I made the res. Needless to say I wasn’t impressed. Hope this helps someone else out.
Arrived at 7, very just. Service was very slow all night. Long wait times between courses. It was a 2 hour dinner and we didn’t drink cocktails or have desserts. Just one appetizer, salad and entree. Food not hot. We had empty water glasses and dirty dishes on table for long time. Even by 8:00, the restaurant was dying down with many empty tables and service never improved.
Bravo is a great combination of good food, nice atmosphere and good service. We always come back because they do so many things right without being snooty or smug. Our waitress was attentive and everything came out the way we ordered it. The one puzzle was why the “seasonal” dessert was the same one they served in the summer - long “season”! It was as good in the fall as it was in the summer, though. Hard to go wrong with anything on the menu!
Service was great. Food was mediocre. That had not been our food experience there previously.
This is a really nice place for happy hour.
You can't beat the happy hour prices.
The waitress was very nice, but I’m sure her task was overwhelming. 14 girls and several different checks. She got them all right
Excellent service and dinner. Thanks for helping make Homecoming memorable.
Great choice for last-minute fine dining. Great value for a nice evening out.
Our food was good. Service did start our slow as we sat for about 15 minutes before a manager asked if someone came by yet. Afterwards, service was fine.
Good food. Attentive service
Nice atmosphere, good food, excellent service with a smile. We all enjoyed.
Great menu, lots of seating and very accommodating to bringing your child. They brought my son a piece of pizza dough to play with when our food was taking longer than expected. Our server was also super patient and kind. Loved our food too.
Always enjoy Bravo for many years. This newest one is beautiful!
Took over an hour to get my food. They were out of almost everything I wanted. Waiter walked around while holding all of our credit cards. Took 15 min to get checks.
It is so hit or miss there. Went the week before and it was good as it had not been for awhile. This week the food was not great. Caprese salad not to hard to fix....? Well no basil skimpy mozzarellas and barely any basic and oil.... so bad
The food was delicious but finding a parking spot was awful. I will not return.
Great food as always!
The food was very good! My 8 year old twin nieces immensely enjoyed the food and dessert!
Will will be back!
The food was delicious, and we enjoyed the outdoor dining set-up immensely. Jack is an excellent server, and our whole dining experience could not have been better!
Early dinner with a client - as in 430pm. Great time to dine to avoid traffic and have a quiet dining experience. Restaurant was just getting busy as we were leaving, which was perfect.
We have been going to this restaurant on and off for over 20 years now, starting when it was on Montgomery Road, near Kemper. We have always received good service and top quality foot. On this visit, I mentioned that I missed the veal marsala that was on their menu fifteen years ago and they prepared it for me, even though it is no longer on their menu. As in the past, it was delicious and the service was outstanding.
We sat outside and had a fantastic dinner. Atmosphere was perfect.
Great food and service. Wonderful ambiance and beautiful patio for outside dining. The over hang is perfect for cloudy drippy days- you stay dry and get to enjoy the outdoors. Amazingly there is no road noise when sitting outside even though Edwards road is so close. Perfect location makes for a great conversation place.
Food was very average. Shrimp in the scampi and fettuccine alfredo were popcorn size. The fettuccine pasta was severed in a big lump like it was just heated and pulled from a microwave. We expected better quality.
We came for our son’s birthday and were not disappointed! Great place to come where everyone can find something tasty to order - from salads to pizza to pasta and seafood - lots of good choices! Wonderful atmosphere without being pretentious.
Outstanding dinner & exceptional service!!
What some would call fast service at this restaurant, I would call fast-food service. Despite a mostly empty restaurant, we felt rushed through our meal by our server who continually re-visited our table. I applaud their focus on being attentive to customers, but too frequent visits are an interruption to a meal, conversation, and the overall experience. The food, however, was very good quality.
Our server was absolutely the best! Bravo was prepared to host our large party. Great time.
Seated immediately! Waiter very good! Food very good! Wine good! Dessert good! Great evening!
Excellent all around!
We have had excellent dining experiences at the Streets of West Chester and Newport locations. Therefore, we decided to try the Rookwood location.
Extremely disappointed with our intended birthday celebration for our daughter.
One member did not even receive his meal until everyone was finished.
The food was not good, the kids did not even like the chicken tenders or meatballs
Our dishes with meat in them had less than 2 ounces of protein included.
Unclear what the root of the challenges were with service.
We will not be back and will tell our friends accordingly.
The grilled shrimp entree was delicious
Better than typical restaurant Italian food. Small portions.
