BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Centerville - Dayton
The food wasn’t that exciting. I’ve had better Italian at other chain restaurants. The waiter was quite pushy and intrusive. Constantly trying to up-sell. He brought one dipping oil for a table of 6. He asked if the people that had wine wanted another glass but didn’t offer refills on lemonade or iced tea. He even tried to refill the ice tea and lemonade glasses with water and, when told what beverages we had, said “oh, sorry” and filled the 1 or 2 water glasses at the table then walked away.
Brittany and Mike were very very helpful. Service was awesome! Everyone was fed at the same time I don’t know how you guys did that! But it was perfect. Thank you so much it was my daughters college graduation from Xavier university and it was awesome!
Using OpenTable worked out great. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for Bravo. They were out of items on the menu, including the soup of the day and a dessert item!
It was mother's day, so very busy. But, our food was barely warm, and our waitress seemed overwhelmed.
Understaffed now, reduced options on paper menus. It just feels like they’ve tried to cut costs and don’t do alot of training with staff. Not the level of restaurant it used to be.
Everything was great except they had wooden chairs. I’m guessing the chairs are temporary but they were very uncomfortable especially for the older mothers on Mother’s Day
Bravo is consistently good. It is not too expensive but nice enough for a special event.
I realize that it was mother’s day but I had made reservations... I and seated fast but.... our service was thee worst ever our server didn’t get to us for a while the bread was cold... I got one of the new spaghetti entree it was the worse thing I ever ate.. she could see that I didn’t touch mine .. the rest of my family’s meal was fine... I’ll never go back because she could have ask was your meal not what you acspected?????
Mother’s Day. Great time
We dine at Bravo’s at least once per month. Usually it’s a terrific place to eat. Ambiance, service, food, beverages are always first rate. This last time we had a couple of issues.
We had a party of eight and showed up slightly early for our reservation. We were told our table would be ready at closer to our scheduled time, so we said we would wait in the bar area. The bartender was wonderful and we almost decided to eat in that spot. Just not enough room.
Well, it got to be well after our reservation time so I went up and asked about our table. It was ready. I think they simply forgot we were waiting in the bar. Anyway, we all sat down...and waited some more. I think we got caught, lost in the Prom Night whirlwind. So, I went back up to the wait stand to ask for a server. The manager sent a person over right away and the night was saved! Our server was excellent! The food was terrific and the wine was perfect.
Party of 8, everyone was well fed and enjoyed their meal. Great service, too.
Great meal, as usual!!!
This was my graduation dinner and it was fantastic. The service was superb and the waitress were so accommodating to our large party. They made my graduation day even better. Thank you !
Food and service was as excellent as it has always been. Reservation process online was very easy.
Food is good but for the high cost of the menu, a salad should be included. Olive Garden is equal or better and you get a awesome salad and bread sticks.
Our server Manny was the BEST ! The manager and head chef both came out at occasions to check on us. All our meals were very good! We will be back soon.
Wonderful first visit. Will come again.
Reserved seating was ready, great food and great service. Perfect evening thank you!
We had a reservation for 2:00 and we were seated immediately … Dinner was excellent as well as the service. We had a wonder Easter meal and experience.
Waiter was awful! No drink refills and long spans between coming to our table to see if we needed anything. We were celebrating a milestone birthday and he had zero personality!
Food was not great as it usually is and seemed to be less quality from a previous visits.
Will not dine at this location again!
My friend, who is from Jamaica was celebrating her birthday. The staff was very attentive; excellent food and awesome staff. My hat goes off to Joanna for making our first-time dining experience one we will never forget.
Long wait to get a table even with reservations but when we were seated we got our food extremely fast and had wonderful service the whole time
The server was very pleasant and efficient. In spite of there being lots of prom groups and crowded we were quickly seated, and waited on. Our meal came quickly and was delicious. We had grass feed beef meatballs and spaghetti. Definitely a great place to frequent.
Always love it at Bravo, excellent food and service with a smile.
We met here for a monthly meeting. The first server we had wasn’t very polite, kept interrupting, and was rushing us to order. She then disappeared and three other servers went back and forth about taking our table. Very disappointed in the overall service. Food and drinks were good. May come back, just not for a meeting/dinner.
The restaurant wasn’t busy at all. So we thought we’d eat a nice meal quickly. Very slowly we got our food. His lasagna was not even warm. It was room temperature. We waited so long we just decided to ask fur our check and I took mine to go. It took forever to get our check. Then it took a long time to pay. Again, the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Terrible food. Nice server but very slow and cold food.
I loved the food and the service. Definitely going back.
Great food but service from the kitchen seemed to take longer than normal - bread took over 45 min to arrive.
Great as usual... been coming here for 17 years and quality remains good.
First...Open Table is phenomenal! Any restaurant that isn’t on this site is missing the boat and business. It makes the entire process of selecting a place to dine and ensuring you’re not waiting forever for a table hassle free. And...no I haven’t been paid to type this endorsement. As far as Bravo’s...a great dining experience. Service...food...adult beverages...were perfect. Thanks all!
We have always loved going to Bravo but Friday night they were hardly busy at all but service was still unusually slow and when we finally got our food, it was only lukewarm. All four of us were disappointed. To wait as long as we did for our food when half the tables were empty and then to find it was just warm. Very very disappointing.
great food & service....really enjoyed ourselves..will definitely come back again soon!
Food over cooked then undercooked. Server had no personality and was not easy to interact with. Did not feel valued as a customer and on top of everything this was a celebration.
Service was outstanding and food was great. Would return.
Thank you for everything!! I enjoyed everything and the service
Empty on a Friday night. Painfully slow service, and the food was ‘meh’
We hadn’t been here for several years. After eating there again, I was reminded why. My wife & I shared the dried up almost sauce-less lasagne. Boy, was that a mistake of an order. Salads were very good as was the lobster bisque. Mediocre low 3 star experience. It’ll be another few years before we go back there again.
We love Bravo but have noticed the bread and dipping oil is different. The taste of the oil and the type of bread has changed. Not a good change. Not sure when this change happened. Used to give two different kinds of bread and the oil had more spices in it than now.
The food & atmosphere were acceptable, although I feel like the "open" seating concept needs reviewing. Some diners like a bit more privacy, especially while having a meal with a spouse or significant other. The online "reservation" is misleading & should be changed to a "check-in" time. We "reserved" a table for 7pm & still had to wait 40 minutes to be seated.
They had a special going, buy one entree, get one free. The spaghetti was great.
