BRAVO Cucina Italiana - Centerville - Dayton
Ordered grilled chicken with pasta meal, when meal was received there was no grilled chicken on the pasta meal. Waitress said she'd have them remake it, they added the grilled chicken to pasta meal, did not remake. Was not offered shredded parm. cheese after getting meal back, but was offered powdered parm cheese instead.
Well it was Valentine's day so it was busy they were 15 to 20 minutes behind on reservations understandably. The hostess was extremely polite and pleasant which made the wait tolerable. Food was amazing service was great even though they were slammed the were polite, pleasant, and fast to help their guest's.
The neglected me and my date . I requested a lime it never came had to go get my own from the bar. Needed another drink had to flag someone down to get my drink. Service was unacceptable will not return. I had to refill my dates water when it was empty. Pathetic.
Excellent place to enjoy a meal with family, excellent service and plenty of parking.
In addition, we have had two large family lunches (25-35)at this Bravo and the food and service were exceptional.
The waitress was okay but never smiled or was personable. Our food was not worth what we paid. The noodles were not cooked all the way
Excellent food... Great service... An Italian restaurant with exceptional steaks
We had booked a table for 6.45 pm on February 7th. Upon arrival we were told that we would have to wait for a table.
It did not seem to matter that we reserved a table.
There was a table in the bar and we decided to take it.
Somewhat disappointed at the service
Excellent food great service and the staff met our request for a round table. One of the better places to eat in Dayton
Excellant Fillet and cooked to perfection. Better than any steakhouse.
The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic! We did have an issue with the hosts. We checked in a few minutes before our reservation and waited 25 minutes while several other parties of the same size with later reservations were seated. I finally approached the host stand again and reminded them that we were still waiting for our table. They immediately seated us - I’m assuming they realized an error in their seating order. In any case, the service and food were exceptional and we will return!
Food was excellent! Server was so slow
so bad... bad food, bad service, management needs to step up big time before it is a place of the past
Our server was wonderful attentive without being intrusive. Food was prompt and perfectly prepared. Looking forward to going back
Celebrating Christmas & New Years
It was New Years Eve so they were busy. I had chopped salad and Lobster Ravioli. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs.
Chopped salad and bread were delicious!
Lobster ravioli was good but not warm enough.
Spaghetti and meatballs also not warm enough and my husband said it was lacking in flavor.
Servers were great!
We waited for table tho we had reservation. Could not get bar service for the life of us, tho it was busy and New Years Eve. We waited at our table for over 40 min til someone even cleared our table from peeps before. We even walked around n looked for management or server. We finally got Jordan to take care of us and he was wonderful considering the stress he was under. Bottom line 6:00 reserv got home at 9. Totally not goid
Food was not memorable . I could have done much better cooking myself . Seemed very industrial and mass produced . I think my eggplant was previously frozen. Sauce bland .
So I've always been a big fan of the Salmon salad. Even as the price has gone up, it is still a great meal, particularly with the bread and oil always served. This restaurant can be very busy as times, so we usually go early or make a reservation on weekends. Give them a try.
Well, I was there with my family for a birthday. They were out of the beer that my son had ordered, out of ingredients for the dish my daughter ordered and my wife could not tolerate the mixed drink she ordered. So it was a lot more like going to Denny's where they are out of everything like in the movie, The Santa Cause.
I understand it’s 12/24 but when the manager admits that tables are sitting for 3-4 hours and not ordered food or drinks it’s time to ask them to leave. This is the norm i. Large cities and especially in highly popular restaurants.
Running 1.5 hours after a reservation is poor managment
We reserved a table for 11 in the weeks leading up to Christmas Eve. Our reservation was for 8:15. We were sat at 9:27. Totally get running behind a little for the holiday but this was a mistake by the hostess. She continued to seat tables of four at locations where you could only fit larger parties. Regardless, we were late to meet other family afterwards as we finished dinner near 11p. The manager was sympathetic to out plight and offer to comp. We were not looking for a handout but better planning and management. Many at the table have worked in the service industry and restaurants so we get it, but the lack of attention and training on a crucial night can only be pointed at management. Service after we were say was standard and the food was excellent. We still tipped the server 20% as it was not her fault the tables were not flipped in time.
Worst experience I ever had at a restaurant when I had a reservations. We waited for over an hour after our reservation time and then had to leave as we had our grandchildren with us and they needed to eat.
To make matters worse the bar ran out of bourbon, not sure how a bar can run out of bourbon.
reservation was for 745, not seated until 9. Sat in bar area waiting at a table with dirty glasses and food plates and were never cleaned the entire time. When we were seated, the floor around our table had bread and trash all around. Went there for lasagna and they said they were out. When food arrived my ravioli was cold on inside and sons food had a hair in it. Waitress offered him something else but we just paid and left. Will never EVER return. Manager never offered to approach our table.
Very busy Christmas Eve. Staff did well I spite of crowds. Waiter didn’t offer bread or dessert but we really didn’t need it!
We made a reservation at 5:30 for 4 people. Arrived on time and were seated about 20 minutes after the reservation. It took 15-20 minutes to get drinks. It took about an hour after we ordered to get our food. 20 minutes to get our check after we asked for it, and about 10 minutes to get our receipt.
Not a good experience.
We had 18 people and an hour wait with a reservation. BUT our server made up for everything 10 fold. He was absolutely brilliant. It was efficient, timely and very kind. It was a difficult party and he made it all really amazing. I hope he had a great Christmas and holiday.
It was really crowded but the server took good care of us
2 meals were just like warm and kinda crusty on top. The rest were hot. Our server didn’t check on us.
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner for a large family at BRAVO. The food was exceptional and the wait staff was attentive. A fantastic experience!
We were disappointed. We have been to Bravo on a busy holiday night before and everything was handled better than last night. Host staff (particularly the man at the reservations computer) seemed discombobulated and were slow in seating people despite it being early (4:45) and there being plenty of empty tables when we arrived. Our server was very pleasant but service was very slow and the food came out warm, not hot. Even the bread came out late since servers were apparently competing for it.
We will probably consider a different restaurant for our next holiday dinner.
We gathered for a milestone birthday and ate and drank and laughed for 3 hours. The waiter was great and the food was delicious.
Hostess was not at front and we waited at least 5 minutes until a very nice waitress helped us. Finally hostess came in from outside, which I think she was on a smoke break. Hostess smelled like a walking cigarette! She never apologized or even greeted us. Walked to table without a word to us. Our waitress apologized for her and made our visit very good. Food and service were great. Hostess terrible.
Excellent. Great service. Waiter was wonderful. Food arrived promptly.
The Mediterranean grilled vegetable salad had no grilled vegetables on it and the waitress did not return to check on us until the meal was completed. I ate the salad and it was good, but I was still charged full price. Other than that, It was as expected.
We took a group of six there for the night before Thanksgiving and it was almost empty. The service was all right but nothing special (never expect good service in an empty restaurant) and most of the staff were hanging Christmas ornaments in the dining room. The food was, as usual, really good but the place overall looked tired: the dishes looked very old and worn, wine glasses came with water spots on them and the linoleum was coming up by the restrooms. In short, the place needs an update and the staff needs a pep talk to complement the always good food.
Delicious food and great service. Reservation was ready at time promised. Very nice visit.
The service was so slow, we were there 90 minutes before our meals arrived. The food was mediocre and the servings were appallingly small. For $17 my salmon salad had a piece of salmon that could not possibly have exceeded three ounces.
Our table was ready was we arrived, but then, the restaurant was nearly empty and I understand why.
Slow/bad service and the meatballs came with plastic and wax paper in them. The manager was nice but being served contaminants is a bridge to far for me. Gross.
