Bravo Bistro is an elegant eatery located in the heart of Providence"s Theater District, two blocks from Kennedy Plaza. Bravo is a full service restaurant complete with excellent menus and a large selection of wines from regions around the world.
Located on the second floor is an award-winning banquet facility for private functions. It has large picture windows overlooking the city and the Trinity Repertory Theater. Its a must see!
We were seated and served promptly. A good place to go for a pre- or post-show meal at either Trinity Rep or the PPAC.
Great place to eat and hang out. Drinks and food are great. Service is wonderful... people were friendly and responsive to our needs. The only thing that needed work was the taste of the vegetables! Needed more flavor somehow. Too blah for me. Should have ordered the fries! 😬
We chose Bravo Bistro because it is across the street from Trinity Rep. We informed the server that we had a showtime to meet. She made sure that we were not late. I would have rated the food good rather than very good had it not been for the seared tuna. It was outstanding. The mussels were good. Had the broth not been over salted, it would have also been very good to outstanding.
Manager accommodated us very well by changing our table to meet specific request. Difficult to do on a fully booked evening.
Dzvory dishes. Outstanding wait staff and Parking Valet. Our evening is tastefully extended when we pick up our "doggy cat" bags after the play and head home to reheat them and enjoy the flavors.
Outstanding waitress, never wrote one thing down, everything perfect. Service very timely despite huge crowd. Food excellent value.
Bravo Bistro is one of our favorite places to eat before a PPAC show. We let our server know we have the show and they always get us out on time.
We enjoy the mussels, done either with a cream Dijon style or the Bravo mussels which is a tomato and chourice style. Both are delicious.
Great after theater meal
Service was terrible. The restaurant was dirty and had a large puddle on the floor on the way to the bathroom that should have been mopped up. It was very dangerous having to walk through it to get to the restrooms. I had the cheese burger that was burned on the outside and less than pink on the inside. The people I dined with had the Ruben . The meat was extremely tough and chewy. Dirty glassware
Bravo is always a reliable excellent place to eat downtown. And super convenient to valet park there before dinner and a show at Trinity and pick the car up after the show.
Brunch with friends before matinee at Trinity Rep.
Service very slow; seemed to be short of staff. They had a special brunch going on upstairs which may have left fewer staff in dining room. Food was great, as it always is. The side of fruit accompanying our orders was slimmer than usual.
We’ve been having brunch, or an early dinner, at Bravo Bistro around our Trinity subscription for many years! Food is always delicious!
This was our second time here. This time we were seated upstairs. We enjoyed it much more. It was quieter and less congested. Will definitely ask to be seated upstairs again.
Service was great!
Atmosphere was casual. Seating very tight .
Food was average.
Emma is the best server. We love her and will request her again
Perfect dinner after attending a musical at PPAC
As usual, the pasta dishes were fantastic! The only disappointment is the Lobster Mac & Cheese is off the menu -- had to have Bacon Mac & Cheese, but it was also great.
Had a unexpected add to the reservation (son's college buddy) and it was handled without a hitch. Bravo Bistro is an easy walk after an event at the Dunkin Donuts center.
The service is outstanding. The food was fantastic as well as the drinks. They kept our leftovers for us to pick up after we returned from the theatre.
Charming place, pretty good food.
Needs some help with the wine list.
Took almost an hour to get our dinner after ordering
We had a wonderful evening for a dinner just before going to see a show at trinity repertory
While the food is okay, it is impossible to have a conversation as it is too noisy.
Always have dinner at Bravo before attending a performance at the Trinity Repertory Company.
As enjoyed delicious food with very good service.

I met my friend there and we were very pleased with food and service
Server was super friendly.
The food was good. I had a steak with broccoli. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium-rare) but the broccoli was lukewarm on the plate. My friends meals were all piping hot and delicious. The server was good, but swept away drinks before making sure we were finished.
Three of our party enjoyed their omelettes and pancakes.
Unfortunately, and egg white omelette came with a large partially cooked on beaten egg yolk, and extraordinarily runny egg yolk. The yellow part was hidden, and discovered about a third of the way through, when we were in too much of a hurry to send it back.
The food was excellent and Taylor, our server was amazing!
Brooklin and GM Tim worked as a team to serve us and me and my family were very happy with them. The free parking validation worked great for us as we walked to the Dunk after leaving Bravo and kept our car there. Very pleased with Bravo.
Everything was excellent
Great service, excellent meal
The hostess was super sweet and our waitress was wonderful, so friendly and personable. The food was honestly amazing and just the place it's self was very lively and good place to eat.
We keep coming back to Bravo. Great food, great bar, location is ideal. Servers are terrific - lots of energy and warmth.
Great place prior to the theater across the street. A bit noisy when full - but generally enjoyable.
We took my mother in law here for dinner before a show at PPAC. We all had a great meal and great service.
The food and drinks were fantastic! Kristen, our waitress was absolutely delightful. We never felt rushed, she helped decide where to continue our evening...just a great experience all around!
Have eaten here several times without issue but was disappointed this time. Had seafood platter appetizer. Overdone bacon wrapped scallops, mini crab cakes but no crab, and 2 shrimp cocktail for 19.95? My burger was good. My husband had cajun Turkey burger but there was no cajun seasoning. Also sat upstairs which was cold and dark. So not sure we will be back.
The food was awesome, our server was exceptional, and the atmosphere is unique but comfortable.
Always an excellent meal. Good variety and great wine list
Service was outstanding! Our waiter Francisco was attentive and prompt.
Valet was super helpful in the pouring rain!!! Smoke right outside or the entrance door was bellowing into the restaurant.
Service was great. Great environment. Food was inconsistent across the members of our party but overall all enjoyed the experience
