The restaurant was recommended by a friend. We had reviewed the menu online and were intrigued. We were happy to see there were 'entrees' as well as smaller plate options. I chose the oysters for a starter and my wife chose chicken liver mousse. Both were beautifully presented with very tasty accompanying sauces and fulsome sourdough bread. We began with a sparkling wine -chardonnay minor-which was perfect for both dishes. The entrees included a Scallop dish and Pepper Steak. Again both were well presented and the amount of food was satisfying. My wife chose a glass of white grio and I chose the Malbec to accompany the steak. Both worked well with the meal. We finished with a shared Tiramisu which was a perfect combo of cake and filling. A great meal and enjoyable evening.

Food, service and ambiance were excellent. However it would have been nice have to have had more options for wine by the glass at a wine bar

What a lovely hidden little Gem this place is. Very welcoming and Ryan our bartender was outstanding!!

Saw their post on instagram. What a place! Nicely decorated, good music playing in the background. Service was on point and friendly. Good wine list. The food! Wow! The mushroom toast was INCREDIBLE, as was the butternut squash gnocchi, and the chicken liver pate with sourdough crostini. No room for dessert, next time. We will be dining here often.

Our first time at Bravado was awesome. Well done to the staff and management for opening such an awesome restaurant! Our server Aine was excellent, smoothly handling a busy valentines Day service. The food was fantastic. We tried a good variety of everything they offered, highlights being the Scallop Crudo, and the Gnocchi! We will definitely be back!

Great evening. Love the small plates. Service was attentive and pleasant. Atmosphere and music was classy and appropriate. Lovely evening. I would go again.

Our service was top notch. It really stood out to us and we could not have asked for better. One of our guests dropped their knife and before we could pick it up, our server had brought a new one. Definitely on our list to return!

Great vibe Excellent food. Great service. A great addition to the neighbourhood into the wine bar scene in Halifax. Will definitely be back.
