Tremendous option before attending a performance- I wish it were opened at all times!... will have to go to other BK restaurants!
We dined here because of the proximity to the theater. Brava tries to present itself as an upscale eatery with the classic tiny, overpriced dishes prepared by famous “ artist” chefs. Sadly, it falls far short. The food was good, not great. The portions were absolutely miniscule. The prices were clearly the opposite. I can state as fact that I will NEVER eat here again when attending a show.
Very convenient with great staff; food was excellent! Menu is limited and very pricey - would only go before an event on-site.
The menu was limited, creative and the end results were exceptional. Every dish was outstanding.
The environment was calm and beautiful.
A constructive comment... the staff are not as sophisticated as the environment. Very helpful, kind, but without the same class as the restaurant.
They or OpenTable lost our reservation so we had to sit at the bar. The food & food service were excellent. The restaurant comped us drinks, but the loss of the reservation is unforgivable.
Every single thing we had was delicious! The Alter egg is a must have.. one was enough to share for an appetizer. Prices were reasonable given quality of the food. A 20% gratuity is automatically added, which is not my favorite thing as it takes away the incentive for the server. Service was good (not excellent). The short rib wellington, cobia, and lamb Osso Bucco were delicious. The only frustration was we had an early reservation (515pm) and 8pm show tickets. FYI- the valet we pre-paid $30 for was closed until 6pm. We were late for dinner despite getting there by 5pm and had to drive around the block 20 times. The restaurant should be aware of this and inform their guests when confirming reservation. They didn't have a clue, which was somewhat surprising.
The room is unattractive and a bit gloomy, service a bit disorganized, food had some high points, but my fish was overcooked and my appetizer sauce had way too much vinegar. Seemed like the famous chef was not paying attention! If it wasn’t in the Arsht Center I don’t think it would do well.
Excellent food and great service by Lilliana. Highly recommended
Very nice dining experience. Look at the itemized boil before signing the credit card slip.
Be aware a 20% gratuity is added, automatically, but does not inform you on the credit card slip.
Always a great meal. Food was awesome. The short rib Wellington is always great.
Great service. Ideal for a meal if you are attending an event at the Arsht Center. We had one issue with one main course but the staff took care of it immediately.
Our waitress, Lilly was very attentive and knew the menu thoroughly.
Dinner was exquisite and the service could not have been more spot on!
The lamp shank and the seafood entries were outstanding. Perfect spot before theatre to dine. Leave two hours so you don't rush.
The food is always excellent but desperately needs to change menu more often.
The dishes were over-prepared, meaning too artistic to the point of not tasty. The lamb shank had a peculiar smell and taste and the beef wellington appeared that the beef was fried. Simple cooking would have been much more appreciated.
I was very disappointed. They were very disorganized. The service was slow and the food was sub-par.
I’ve eaten at this restaurant multi times, enjoying a wonderful meal w great service. Unfortunately this time, it was semi disastrous disappointment. . We walked into a semi empty restaurant because it was still early, even for this pre show dinner. It took almost 20 minutes to get our bread basket & put in our dinner selection. After an added 1 hr 10 minutes, we still hadn’t been served our apps. Our waiter rudely told us, the restaurant was now busy, we’ll get our food when we get our food. Instead of the leisurely 2 hrs 15 minute pre show dinner, we were looking at 45 minutes to showtime. We wanted cancel our appetizers. The waiter (again) rudely told us we couldn’t because he’d submitted it. Everyone seated around us, who’d came after us, were not only served their meals, but were now enjoying desserts & coffee. The manager, olivia kiddom, stepping in. She was very apologetic & immediately brought us our main course. She also comped our main course. This wasn’t necessary but was appreciated. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy our food. There wasn’t enough time to eat, shuffle through standard theatre security, get to our orchestra seats just as the curtain was going up. We were in the restaurant a total of 2 hrs 20 minutes, leaving without eating & hungry That night our dinner consisted of sharing a kitkat bar during intermission. I again, want to commend olivia for stepping in & trying to make things right. Too bad, there wasnt enough time before the show to eat or enjoy. Dr Alper
we felt very indulged at Brava...the decor, the service were delightful...we felt that we were in a special place. The menu was light in terms of number of items, but very interesting yet well priced. We will certainly return pre-show for another fun night out.
Before orchestra show!
Really good food! Very fresh
The food was delicious but the service was inefficient.
We ate at Brava following the show at the Arsht.
The restaurant was empty.
The choice limited.
The food was good and different.
The price high.
Why was the restaurant empty?
A very positive experience. Cocktails were awesome!
Brad runs the best restaurants in Miami bar none. Brava and Alter atre my favorites for inovative dinning. Try the "BUN" you eill love it.
This on-site fine dining restaurant is so convenient ahead of an Arsht show, and the food and service were excellent. The staff are very attentive and friendly and will keep you on time for your show. We really enjoyed the Alter Egg and the Panna Cotta dessert . I was hoping to reprise the Chowder from a couple years prior, but they keep their menu fresh and it's always innovative, beautiful, and flavorful.
The sevice was outstanding and the food was great. Unique and very good.
Los tortellini al brodo excelentes. Los short ribs wellington bueno aunque la racion es muy grande, tal vez para compartir.
The food was expertly prepared with a flair of creativity. My wife had red drum and I chose lamb shank. Both were an outstanding mixture of palate pleasing tastes. Our server was attentive and made sure we got to our show at the Arsht on time.
Food and atmosphere is always amazing
I didn’t appreciate that 20% tips already added and they have line says Tips not additional tips and below recommend suggestions.
I enjoy BRAVA every time I dine there. The food is always excellent -- with one exception. The short rib Wellington was exceptionally salty and much less enjoyable than it could have been. Everything else was great. Especially the eggplant dish.
We were going to a show at the Arsht Center so we decided to try Brava. It was the perfect choice. Excellent service, great cocktails, and outstanding food. Can’t wait to go back, show or not.
Excellent experience overall, I would highly recommend it before going to a function at the Arsht Center!
i ordered the lamb shank/ossobuco style...lovely plate but arrived cold-ish. i advised wait-staff who whisked my plate away and shortly returned with a completely fresh plate which was delicious. very nicely and appropriately handled. what was outstanding was the dessert....spicy toffee cake...a deconstructed version of the english classic...that caramel sauce was sublime.
i would definitely return despite the chill plate
Hi Dashley, Thank you for the awesome 5 Star review and for allowing us the opportunity to make right our error. I look forward to your return, please ask for me when you return. Sincerely Greg E Stewart
Sophisticated food in a quiet setting. Attentive service. Convenient for the theater.
Too fancy for me
The service was slow even though it was stated that we were attending the Fiddler On The Roof. As a result of the slow service and presentation of the check we missed the beginning of the performance. I am pleased that the restaurant was busy, but, attention to the time should be a matter of importance during the service when you are attending the theatre.
Excellent food. Very original take on some classics. Service was overall good as well.
If it wasn’t the only restaurant in the Arscht, this place would not survive. Wait staff ignores you. Food is good but not special like they try to make it out to be and definitely you are paying for the fact that you are dining at the Arscht.
Amazing. Perfect if going to a show.
