Brasserie - The Weekapaug Inn
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED to dine in The Brasserie. Per regulations, masks are also required in public areas of the hotel, but guests are welcome to remove when dining.
Opened in February 2019, The Brasserie offers hotel guests and locals a warm and inviting setting to enjoy French and European-inspired dishes. Reminiscent of iconic French brasserie restaurants, dining guests will enjoy a selection of comforting and flavorful dishes served in an unpretentious atmosphere complemented by genuine, timely service.

An exceptional dining experience! The staff from the valet to the maître D' were welcoming, helpful and a pleasure to speak with. Our server Zach, was the epitome of fine and gracious service. We look forward to returning very soon.
Great meal, exceptional service. Extensive wine list but we enjoyed delicious cocktails. Caters to hotel guests but if you get a reservation, recommend planning a meal here. Beautiful views on the cove. Sit outside if the weather permits!!
We were looking forward to trying the Brasserie for the first time. The food was good. However, I have a few items of constructive criticism. First, my margarita came after our apps were served and it came in a tall glass rather than a wide rimmed glass. Therefore the salt was too concentrated around the rim. We ordered the ricotta, peach zepollis for dessert and never got to the peaches and cheese. Come to find out the kitchen had never injected the filling into the pastry so that was a big disappointment as I love peaches when they are in season. I do not think we will be back, and more apt to go to The Restaurant at Weekapaug Inn.
The food was great but, the the portions were tiny with no side garnish for very high prices. This is supposed to be their casual dining option . Maybe just a Covid situation
We had a great meal. Service , food, drink, all outstanding. Our only issue was we asked to be placed at an outside table. We had not reserved that setting. We were told , no, all the tables were reserved for later diners. Ok. We understood
Then a women comes in for her reservation inside. She makes a ruckus saying she will Only order an appetizer Only have 1Drink and the Manager seats her outside SERIOUSLY. It was THAT easy to push you over? AND that caveat was NOT OFFERED to us? Why? Because WE were polite? What the manager did was NOT right. We told him so. He allowed us to move to a table closer to the windows, since we shamed him. Our dessert was comp’ed as well. Actions were still not equitable nor justified.
The service and atmosphere were outstanding. The apps were good, main course was nothing special, 2 of the 3 deserts were good.
We had appetizers and entrees- everyone raved about their meals. One chicken dish had a portion that was undercooked and the staff were great - extrememly apologetic and responsive. We left with a great impression of the restaurant as a whole, and their dedication to making guests well cared for.
Ate here on the first night of reopen since Covid.
The ambiance was very nice. Clean and beautifully decorated.
Arrived for 7:15pm reservation & was promptly sat. Catilin was a nice server.
Drink order was quickly filled. Placed app order for Charcuterie & was disappointed. The meat selection was fine, but found it to be bland to be served with cornichons & crackers & nuts. A mustard or jam accompaniment would have been nice. Secondary rounds of drinks were delayed.
Throughout dinner other dining guests voiced their opinion to management about their wait time for food and service... I was hoping it would not be my case.
2 entrees (a pasta and fish) as well as 2 sides (one of which was wrong) was brought to the table at 9:45pm. I do understand fine dining and waiting, however, this was unacceptable considering all of the food items were luke warm. After such a wait I was hoping the food would 'save the experience', but it did not.
I spoke to Zoltan & he was very receptive and apologetic.
Great food! Forgot our drinks but gave them to us on th house, so the service was quite excellent.

We greatly enjoyed both the wonderful food and excellent service. As a local resident, we will be going back soon. The Brasserie is a more casual option within a high end resort that provides many different dining options. Make sure you walk the grounds and the gardens to take in the incredible scenery.
We were there to celebrate a 70th Birthday and our waitress Yvonne was fantastic! The one negative was the Brasserie, although on the back side of the restaurant, has no views whatsoever of the exterior of the property or the water which is unfortunate in such a beautiful setting.
We are very impressed on our 1st visit. The food is excellent. The Room is beautiful. The service was attentive. We will go back.
The care and attendance the staff at the Brasserie afforded us was extraordinary. The food and beverage manager and his exceptional background was eye opening. Our server Liz was so informative I thought she harvested every oyster we enjoyed. Don't forget every other member of the service team....they were so engaging, personable and helpful. What an extraordinary meal.....there was adult beverage too!! lol Five Stars at least.
I would recommend it, but only if expectations were moderate. From its reputation, we were expecting a more sophisticated environment, but were disappointed in the surroundings. The food was good and the service in both the bar area and restaurant was very good. The menu was bare bones though.
My first course was inedible. Littleneck stuffies. I do not send food but but I had to. I then ordered 6 raw little necks. Took 20 minutes to get them and they were massacred. Whoever opened them did not know what they were doing. Not one whole clan. The nightly special, pitchers was dry and tasteless. They served this with arugula and cherry tomatoes. Not a good match. There were 4 of us and we all agreed it was one of the worst ( and expensive) meals we had ever had. Sadly will not go back.
A variety of menu items will entice all diners. We opted for the oysters - perfectly shucked and chilled, the steak tartare which was accompanied by a creamy sauce on the side (delish!) and the scallops, which were perfectly browned. Dessert is a must - especially the Panna Cotta. Service by our waitress Julia was friendly, professional and flawless. Wine list includes selections for all tastes and budgets. Will surely return!
A great meal and reasonable pricing for a "fine dining" experience. Service was excellent and friendly. Very nice atmosphere for an anniversary dinner. I will definitely come again.
My husband and I love going to the Weekapaug Inn for dinner many times each summer. We were looking forward to the new area being French food. There aren’t French specials on Tuesdays so I had the chicken and he had the salmon. The salmon was okay. The chicken was so so hard that I had trouble cutting it . My husband asked how my dinner was because he could see that the knife was having trouble cutting the chicken. We also had the Brussels sprouts and the rice. The Brussels spouts had good flavorless but were very dried out. The rice was okay but a little tough. I wasn’t going to write a review but we received a second request. I have had the chicken dish a few times last year and it was always delicious. We thought that maybe the chef had Tuesday night off. I don’t write bad reviews, we usually just don’t go back The that restaurant . But the Weekapaug Inn has been a favorite for over 25 years
Wonderful way to sample the excellent ambience and cuisine of Weekapaug Inn without breaking the bank. Halibut main was outstanding, as were sides of gnocchi, grilled broccolini, and grilled Brussels sprouts. Excellent pork chop. Panna cotta dessert with passionfruit gelee was best I ever had. Service byJames was some of the best I ever experienced. Highly recommended.
Relais & Chateaux? R&C would have been appalled! We had a reservation for luncheon at 1:30. We arrived 19 minutes early, stopped at the bar outside of the restaurant on the ground floor, advised them of our reservation and were told that we had to go upstairs. I found this confusing - I knew upstairs was a large den/games room. But up we went. Once there, we saw someone who appeared to be of some authority coming in from the outdoor deck where people appeared to be seated and eating and drinking. We informed him of our reservation, whereupon he instructed us (in a semi-annoyed tone) that we had to go downstairs. Odd - so we’re told him the folks downstairs had instructed us to come upstairs. Now, even crankier, he escorted us down, had words with the bartender, ran back upstairs, then returned to instruct us to follow him back up. Still seeming to be annoyed with us for being so much trouble!!
Once there we were presented to a young woman who appeared to be coordinating service on the deck. Initially - even though we could see an open table for two in the shade - it appeared as if we were going to be asked to wait. It now being past our reservation time and my annoyance growing, I reiterated that we had a reservation. They grudgingly prepared to seat us - at a table out in the sun. When we asked if we might sit in the shade, the young woman grudgingly complied and - thankfully - a new and pleasant man - appeared to bring first chairs and then settings to the table. Then he asked what type of water we preferred and delivered it to us along with menus and a smile. Sadly we never saw him again until hours later when we paid our bill. There followed 20 full minutes during which one waitress and the young woman coordinator passed by our table. Nothing but place settings, water and closed menus (the accepted sign of ‘ready to order’) in front of us. No one stopped no one asked us for a drink or food order. It appears there’s not room to relay our horrid exper
The Brasserie was fabulous for lunch on Saturday! Loved it, loved the food, the service and the gorgeous views!
