BRASSERIE TEN TEN

My all-time favorite Boulder restaurant. Have not been in 2 years as it is hard to get a reservation that works with our schedule. Food is consistently amazing. Lindsey was a particularly good server. She got the chefs to make our favorite burger from several years ago that has since gone off the menu. The Mules marinier was fabulous, as always.
We were so excited to try this restaurant while visiting Boulder. However, we were rather disappointed. First, it took them more than 5 minutes for getting us a seat. Note that we made a reservation with a special note (requested a highchair). It was a weekday lunch so there were not many people in the restaurant. Second, there were three different people serving our table. There was no clear communication among those three servers and got our orders messed up. Third, it took way too long for getting our food. Again, it was a weekday lunch and the restaurant was not packed. But it took about an hour and a half from the beginning to the end of our time in this restaurant. We only had an appetizer and entrees. No drinks or no dessert. Hope they would do better job training their servers.
This is a very popular place, it is usually very crowded and very loud due to that. Good service and menu.
Went with a friend of mine and was a wonderful evening, great food, and service. I recommend to do a reservation, specially on Fridays, I got there and my table was ready.
My husband's birthday lunch with our son lived up to our expectations--food delicious (especially the bouillabaisse), service by Dustin exceptional and friendly, and the unexpected birthday profiterole bite a nice treat. We will definitely return even before a next birthday.
We have been dining here since it opened. Our go to restaurant.
The whole experience and worst of all the food was sub par on Monday evening. Such a bummer. Bread was not worth eating, presentation of my guests dinner was horrible. Seating was rearranged..we felt as if we were in the walkway.
Just awful. Like Via Perla when it opened....
Brasserie is really good when it's good, but we had a business dinner there this week that was inconsistent.
Although the salmon dish was very hot, served well and tasty, the special black cod dish was served room temp which I didn't know until after we were done. I am not sure if our 3rd guest was just being polite, but he did say his steak frites were served hot. We're kind of turned off on trying it again.
Our go to restaurant in Boulder for family celebrations. Excellent Happy Hour! Service and food are always great. Wonderful ambience and location.
Honestly I was more than pleasantly surprised. I was a bit hesitant based off reviews but I am a fan and will most definitely be back. The tartare was fantastic. The halibut was cooked to perfection. The salmon was undercooked which is just how I like it. LOVE this place. I ate at Arcana, Blackbelly, River & Woods this weekend. Brasserie was hands down the family favorite.
Enjoyed our dinner. The food was great. The trout and duck were amazing. Disappointed in the Fois Gras. Our server was great and new the menu and drink menu well. We will go back. It was hot in the dining room , but I am a person who just needs my air to move around. This was our first time there and we will go again!
Nice pleasant brasserie. Good authentic French food. Very nice service.
Great service and delicious food plus the atmosphere was beautiful. Our first stop on our mother daughter Downton Abbey adventure. Next stop the AMC Theater to watch the movie.
Excellent brunch. Traditional food but with unique perspective. Enjoyed event moment in this restaurant
Always outstanding menu and service at surprisingly reasonable prices. Love it for brunch, lunch or dinner
Great French Bistro food BUT all hard surface and it is usually very loud. Suggest outside or against wall. Excellent service.
Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Boulder!!!
The food was absolutely delicious. Our waiter however, was one of the worst I've had in quite some time. He forgot to bring us bread and butter, and we had to request it when our escargot arrived and there was nothing to eat it with. He left dirty dishes from our appetizers sitting on the table until we requested a dessert menu. Did not clear off the crumbs from the table before serving coffee and dessert. We had to request sugar for the coffee. He was completely un-attentive, and kept watching the football game at the bar, as I was trying to get his attention on several occasions. We will definitely be coming back because the food was superb, but I hope the service will be much improved next time.
Excellent service and excellent food. Waiters are very detail oriented and knowledgeable about food Allergies.
We had a very late-night last-minute reservation, but were treated to a great dining experience! The service was especially good.
Great meal here Saturday night. I had mentioned on the reservation we were there for our anniversary. As soon as we were seated they brought us each a glass of champagne. I started with Foie Gras Terrine and my wife had the Escargot. We both had the Canard Confit and it was great. We ordered a daily special dessert, Sacher Torte and while it was very good, it was completely lacking in any test of Apricot. Really the only issue we had was it is VERY LOUD! In addition to the crowd noise there seemed to be music playing, but the only thing either of us could hear was the persistent bass and an occasional drum. Totally unnecessary once the place fills up.
The food was delicious. The waiter was very good but had too many tables to service. Too crowded and noisy for our taste.
Love this restaurant and the service was great.
The server was a bit awkward. Ordered the lamp and it wasn’t cold but it wasn’t warm either. I expect my food to at least be warm....especially lamb. For the money, I would have expected better.
Eating at Ten Ten is never a disappointment. The quality of ingredients and service are top notch. Coming from France, I have high standards regarding meals and Ten Ten is the best way to bring me a piece of home (a delicious one) every single time.
The food reminds me of a French bistro in Paris.
Sat outside. Service food and drinks are amazing
Waitress was frazzled. We had to ask for bread, water refills and bill.
Reservations were for 1pm and the lunch crowd was breaking up. Americans seem to love to talk loud until it becomes a competition. Still by 130 most people were gone and normal volume conversation was possible.
The menu has great choices and for every time (3) we’ve been there every dish is prepared perfectly. No questionable meal choices.
Unfortunately the wine prices are high and while our choices are good, we have so a quick breath intake when ordering a bottle.
The wait staff and hostess are great and quite friendly and personable. We really enjoy this restaurant when we want to step back and remember meals we’ve had in Paris.
Our go-to place! Always delicious.
Brasserie Ten Ten is a great dinning experience. Cozy interior and patio seating available. The décor is European and the food is excellent. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful on selecting wine and dinner. He recommendations were confirmed. Great wine selection.
There was not anything special about this restaurant. We were there for lunch, and the service was not unfriendly, but not particularly friendly either. My husband had salmon, and I had a Nicoise salad. Both were fine, but not exceptional in any way.
Wonderful night for a wedding anniversary dinner and the complimentary glass of champagne from our server was much appreciated
Very solid French oriented menu
Food was excellent, ambiance was energetic, server was great, she knew the menu and was very attentive, I love the small plates, We had a great time.
We were visiting friends in the Denver area and the four of us really enjoyed the modern ambience and dinner. One chicken entree and 3 (excellent) seafood stew/soup. We would definitely recommend to people who are visiting Boulder.
Understanding it is a new school year, and new staff are on board, some service areas need to be tightened up to maintain the status of B1010. They need to make sure tables are cleared BEFORE the next plates are served. Customers shouldn't have to play Plate Tetris to accommodate the serve. And once the new plates are down, staff should ensure the table is in good order, not simply walk away leaving dirty plates and empty glasses. Not what we have come to expect from this place. Claudio at their sister restaurant should give a training, to ensure the standards of service are maintained.
We try to have a dinner at Brasserie Ten Ten at least once a year. This occasion was an anniversary dinner. The food was good. No bread served until we asked for it and wine prices seemed very inflated. We will probably stick with burger and beer next time.
Best chicken ever. Our waiter said the sauce on the chicken with roasted vegetables was outstanding and he was right. Also, it was just the right amount.
Great service! Got us in and out just in time for the game.
Visiting grandsons at college
A night out for the two of us excellent! Thanks will be back
