My guests enjoyed their meals. Personally, I found the steak tartare to be disappointing.
Pre show at Radio City - my husband’s steak was excellent and cooked perfectly to his order (rare) and the skate was absolutely delicious (capers made the dish). Totally a positive dining experience and the staff was incredibly attentive and polite.
Food is very ordinary the only good thing about it is the good location.
The service was great! My daughters steak was not cooked well and it was gristly. I ordered the lobster bisque and it was sub par. Overall that was our feeling on the food. “Just ok” so not worth the prices. The ambiance was great! Service was also good. Not sure I would eat here again but the location was very nice.
Consistently great! Perfect for a power lunch in Midtown. They also do this great $20 sushi plate, which is just the right size for lunch. The outdoor seating is great on a warm day.
Food was mediocre at best, but cost was high. Location and service was great - I guess that's what you are paying for.
They couldn’t find reservation to start, but went well from there. They served the smallest east coast oysters possible. Lemon Seabass was excellent, then servers disappeared. I did get a coffee, but offered no dessert. Check came when I stood at exit! They did apologize but I was not sure they had any idea why they were apologizing!
Great location, I hope they don’t mess it up!
Excellent location, beautiful setting and great food
Enjoyed our lunch. Good food and service. Would come back for lunch.
Food was tasty and service very attentive with outdoor seating in Rockerfeller Center!
QUELLE ARNAQUE !!!!! 45 USD POUR UN STEAK SURCUIT + 11 USD POUR DES FRITES !!!!! QUELLE HONTE !!!! PAS ÉTONNANT QU IL N Y AIT PERSONNE !!!! NOUS N Y RETOURNERONS JAMAIS !!!!!
Great french food and close to Radio City Music Hall
I’ll note two things. They did’t open until 12:00 noon and had many people lined up for 12:00 reservations. They should really begin seating by noon.
The second is some of their pricing. Overall they are expensive, but $11 for a very small side of fries was ridiculous
Ate indoors in lush dining room. Beautiful! Excellent service start to finish.
We had a great time at Brasserie Ruhlmann !! Our food was great and our drinks were wonderful. Our waiter was very friendly and very helpful with helping us choose. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!
Host was very unaccmadating when asked if we could change tables. Very abrupt and rude. Eventually got a different table after having to practically beg!
My friends and I went here for Sunday brunch. The wait staff was incredible and really a highlight of the restaurant.
The food was fantastic...classic French, brunch options. We had the Croque Madame, patê, Brussels sprouts and the Eggs Rockefeller, which is a take on Eggs Benedict. A bottle of Rosê topped it off.
What’s also nice is that it is right near Rockefeller Center with outdoor seating for plenty of people watching.
If you are looking for a great spot in the city for brunch, this is a solid option.
Love this popular hotspot for an outdoor bite and cocktail. The view is awesome and the staff is always attentive!
had another great business lunch. They should really add the Tuna BLT to the menu full time.
Excellent Lobster Cobb salad. Panini and fries were luke warm. Should have been better for the price.
As jaded locals, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find this quality spot in the heart of Rockefeller Center. We chose it because of the nice variety of the menu, although we both ended up ordering one of the specials, which was very tasty. Our server was friendly, and the outdoor ambiance was enjoyable. I would recommend it for mid-town dining to anyone, visitor or local.
We went to Brasserie Ruhlmann as part of restaurant week. Overall, our party of 3 was underwhelmed. The food was fine, but the service was average, the decor is dated and some of the food was overpowered by wine (Beef Bourguignon) or simply lacked taste (octopus salad). Somewhat disappointing. It was also loud as there was a party next door.
had dinner outside and it was very nice. the Tuna BLT was spectacular.
This was our 3rd visit and our least favorite. Our first was in 2014 for Sunday brunch. It was spectacular in every respect. The second was last year for mid afternoon drinks and dessert. Again, spectacular.
This visit, Sunday 8/12 for brunch again, was not spectacular. The service was but not the food. To be fair, we may have just selected food that wasn't as much to our liking as the first time. The bread basket is still stellar but the entree was just so so. Fairly plain omelette with cubed potatoes and a nice salad of assorted greens. The dressing was excellent.
We'll go again but for lunch. Next time we'll try Sunday brunch somewhere else.
Had dinner outside on a perfect summer night! Service was prompt and helpful and efficient! The Bibb salad was so fresh and completely delicious! It’s one of my favorite summer night spots in nyc
Really lovely atmosphere and food. We had great fresh tasty salads
Food and dining experience always good, if a bit pricey
We had restaurant week menu and all courses seemed to be pre made and reheated. Maybe even a frozen Sysco permafrost dinner. Will not return!
Excellent experience and wonderful flavors.
Everything was perfect
I took my boyfriend out for a birthday dinner he loved the food!!!
Unkempt waitress with coarse manners who ignored us and messed up our order. I have lunch here frequently and the quality of the personnel and service is light years better — like a different restaurant
Excellent food and friendly and responsive hosts and staff. I’ve been there before and will happily go again.
This is a tourist trap I wouldn’t recommend it. Not helpful with dietary issues. No Brinch service on Saturdays
Post Hamilton dinner. My second time there. Both times the food was excellent as was the service.
Located just off of Rockefeller Center, it is a great people-watching restaurant especially if you are seated outside. We sat inside where it was a little quieter. Very lovely interior; great food; wonderful experience!
Food was great. But why is there sushi on a French bistro menu?
This was such an unexpected pleasure... didn't want to leave. the service, excellent! My Dover Sole, fantastic! i love this place and called friends to proclaim my love for it. and...I'm from Los Angeles visiting for work. i'm coming back, to Ruhlman!
I have had three business lunches over the past six weeks here and have concluded that I won't be returning. The service is amateurish and the food is really overpriced. Waiter doesn't provide specials; we had to ask for water finally; fish was shown to us and then taken to be filleted, but then didn't return for over 15 minutes! How does a lukewarm lunch portion fish dish cost high $30s? It has to be much nice (like the Sea Grill or the Modern) at that price.
This was our 4th visit I believe and we continue to be impressed with the great food, wine, cocktails and service.
It has become one of our favorites while in the city and will certainly return when we are able to!!
