What a great experience every time at this wonderful brasserie.
You can't go wrong with the selections but don't miss the mussels or the steak frites. Super wine list too.
I want to thank Brasserie Provence for a delicious meal during a much needed night out for my wife and me.
This stunning meal from it's beautiful menu in the house that Genoud and Duncan built could never disappoint.
The gorgeous decor and ambiance make you feel right at home, just as they intended. It isn't Parisian stuffy, but warm and at home in southern France; even when it's dark and rainy outside.
The pork chop is the best in the city of Louisville and farther beyond, and the Chateaubriand is the stuff of storybook.
The service was perfect without being intrusive from Robin.
My heartfelt thanks.
The food was fantastic & the service was outstanding.
As always the food, service, & wine selection were terrific. As a bonus our waiter was very well versed in wine & made some great suggestions to go with our meal.
We entertained for business and wanted a restaurant where we could talk. Our waiter was great and checked in and was helpful. The four of us ordered different seafood dishes and everyone raved about their own entree. Perfect!
Good service and food was great. They have an extensive wine list and the interior in light and airy. Definitely would return again.
My mother took me for my birthday. The lunch was wonderful and the wine was 1/2 price bottles - which was a great surprise.
Had a very enjoyable experience.
Great way to finish our day of bourbon tasting in the area.
Overall a very enjoyable experience. Rhe owner/host, our waiter (Tom, I believe), the food, wine, and ambience was all wonderful.
Tommy was as wonderful a server as always. The whole evening was perfect.
Had a really good time. The food was good and the owner and staff were very nice. The waitress messed up a few things but it happens ofcourse. I'd come back again to try more things out.
Also the wine selection was crazy huge which was pretty cool. Looking forward to next time.
Although I loved our first visit to Brasserie Provence two years ago, I was completely disappointed with our visit at 5:00 this afternoon for my wife's birthday.
I asked the waiter if the $18 duck liver appetizer was big enough for two people or just intended for one person. He assured us that it was big enough for two. However, when it arrived, it was literally the size of 3 grapes sitting on a giant bowl. I immediately complained to the waiter, but he did nothing.
The coq au vin had almost no flavor. The wine sauce was not thickened with anything, so it was watery and did not cling to the chicken and vegetables. I could not taste any spices in the chicken or the vegetables. The chicken breast was delivered whole and over-cooked so that it was tough to chew.
The bread was very tough, and the butter was fresh from the refrigerator so impossible to spread.
My wife liked her trout, but I was terribly disappointed with everything I had.
Our bill for two people came to $91 because the restaurant made no adjustment for my complaints.
Brasserie Provence used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but I have no intention of ever returning.
I am a retired church pastor, so I affirm that every word I have written is true.
Great food. Surprised at how pretty the inside is!
Service was off, meat was undercooked.
We had a lovely dinner. We were seated in a comfortable booth which was roomy and private. The food was outstanding especially the coq au vin and tomato goat cheese tart. The waiter was knowledgeable and efficient. The owner/manager was friendly. The decor/ambiance were lovely.
As usual, the food, service and ambiance were excellent. One of my top three restaurants in Louisville.
Okay food, but terrible service
Our favorite restaurant in Louisville. Great food and great atmosphere.
Always excellent service and food.
Very good variety of food offerings.
The owner is almost always on premises. The charcuterie platter is the best in town.
Service was top notch, very attendent and knowledgeable about menu items.
The food was exceptional and the service was great. I was worried as they restaurant was almost empty except for a group
Great place with good food and wines in a nice atmosphere.
This is a terrific restaurant, but the Coc Au Vin is not on my list. Potatoes way over cooked and wine sauce less than average. Lamb soup was good.
They went out of their way to provide a suitable table, the staff was sensitive to my eating preferences, and the menu is everything you would expect at a French restaurant. I was very pleased.
Excellent dinner and service. Lamb chops were top shelf.
the broccoli and potato side was fair. i had the salmon and it was excellent.
Our son and I savored each night of the Ribeye .. my husband had mussels and they were delish!! Special birthday desert and a macaroon put the evening over the top!! Will visit again very soon! The Fosters!
Food was mediocre at best. My tuna tasted as though it had been frozen. The mussels appetizer came out in less than 5 minutes and had we not asked the waiter to slow down we probably could have been in and out on 30 minutes. Not worth the money. There are lots of other better places.
Great restaurant which never disappoints! Service is always great as well as food, value, drinks and great wine list! A go to for a great meal!
We had a great meal! Good service! We were two couples. It was comfortable and it was easy to talk and hear, but still lively.
The French onion soup was very good, and the beef tenderloin was the thickest cut I've ever seen. Bonus: you could cut the steak with a fork! They were very accommodating to our 1.5 year old daughter, giving her crayons and paper throughout the meal. They even told us they would speed up/ slow down service based on the needs of our daughter. Great for our baby to feel welcomed.
Hog belly was all fat...,disgusting
Excellent food! Great Happy Hour too
Brasserie Provence will always provide you with a wonderful dining experience. The food is excellent. The service is impeccable. The wine list is extensive. Cheers.
Authentic French food. I had French onion soup and coq au vin with a pistachio macaron dessert. Everything was delicious. I'll definitely go back.
Never disappointed in the food or service. Creative cuisine and nice wine list. Great for business lunch and conversations.
Waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine! Food was excellent especially the French Onion Soup!
Try the Sea Bass. You won’t be disappointed. 4 different entries ordered for our party of 5 and everyone was impressed.
