The time span from when we ordered and when our food arrived was unusually long. The wait staff was very attentive, but the food service was slower than normal.
We love Provence and will definitely return.
This was our first night out with friends for over a year. We are so very grateful to you and your staff for continuing to provide delicious food with great service. Thank you Brasserie Provence!
Our Birthday Celebration was on to Remember with Great Food and Service.
Great experience, consistent. Great wine selection and bar. Cooked perfectly as ordered.
Super bon, comme a la maison!
The service was great, the food was outstanding and the price was reasonable. The owner is around and he pays attention to the details.
When we come to Louisville we try to fit Brasserie Provence into our schedule. Will be looking forward to our next visit.
Great food, great service, the owner always check in on you. A true brasserie!
The whole staff said happy birthday to my boyfriend! It was very nice. We enjoyed it immeny.
Made reservations thru Open Table. Was a frequent customer At restaurant during pandemic shutdown and did carry out.
Was placed at least desirable table of restaurant so was surprised
In addition the table next to ours was very loud and annoying so not a great return to inside dining.
The absolute best onion soup in town. The salmon was very good, far better then most and the service was (Shirley) excellent. She was pleasant, attentive without being intrusive and professional.
Whenever I am in Louisville, I always make a point of dining at Brasserie Provence. The food is consistently delicious, the wine selection is well curated, and the wait staff is superb.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. It’s always a pleasure to be able to come here
Very good! Reservations were very easy to make and change. They were very good with communication. The food was delicious!
Surprised at the sediment in a glass of Melbac. Pointed it out to our server who shrugged and didn’t give it another thought. Next glass was clear. While I don’t expect any freebies, a word of apology would have gone a long way.
Delicious food as always and Chris was an excellent server! The scallops I had were HUGE and just phenomenal! Hat's off to the chef!!!
Pricey but worth it. The mussels and scallops were amazing.
The only place in Louisville to have a delicious French dinner. Quiet, comfortable, one can have a good conversation and enjoy classic cuisine.
This is our go to place for special events. You can also go for lunch, they even have a burger on the menu.
I always take out of town guests to Brasserie Provence for an evening that will include wonderful food, pleasant surroundings, and a nice wine list. It is a Louisville gem.
Everything was delicious.
Louusville offers many delicious choices, but Brasserie Provence is by far our favorite restaurant in the city! (The goat cheese and tomato tart is a must-have!
Everything from the cocktails through the main course was excellent. We opted out of dessert since we were quite satisfied.
Many thanks to Gaelan for such great service and to the chef for fantastic meals.
The restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious and the people are welcoming and committed to high quality and standards.
As usual, the food was exquisite and Tiffany our server was fantastic. Just an outstanding restaurant.
The food was authentic French brasserie style and the walls are covered with photos of Provence taken by one of the owners. Mellow French popular music at a subtle volume level. Friendly owner circulates and talks to guests.
The service was excellent. Food is always delicious!
We always get consistent experience with high quality and service levels.
Wonderful evening ...
Always treated wonderfully there! Good food and great place for quiet dinner with friends.
We took my mother in law here for a special Mother's Day dinner and we all had an amazing experience. The staff and owner are always friendly and the food is so beautiful but also accessible and simply delicious. One of my favorite restaurants in Louisville to take any type of dining guest! They also have a great wine list!
Very pleasant Mother's Day meal. Steak was magnificent.
Lovely atmosphere, quiet for relaxed conversation . Menu is interesting and never disappoints .
Mother's Day brunch- my mom had been dying to try this place for some time. We finally got there, and it was a little underwhelming. To be fair, I enjoyed EVERYTHING I had. The tomato tart was fantastic, the steak was delicious, her steak was nearly blood rare (not the way she asked for it) and our constantly vanishing server finally reappeared the server who DID finally bring us a box practically threw it on the table. Mom said the gazpacho tasted better than it looked; she enjoyed the asparagus she really liked the key lime tart & the coffee! We may give them another try some time and order from the regular menu, but this just wasn't the experience we'd hoped for.
It was great food and great menu, but the service was very subpar. When we asked what a word meant on the menu, our server told us it meant nothing....What? Great food, not great service.
My husband and I were celebrating our 39th anniversary. The high top table pushed up to the bar was not our idea of appropriate seating for an upscale restaurant. We made our reservation a good bit in advance. Wait staff was pleasant but seemed very occupied with other duties, bar tending and a few other large parties. The food was delicious and that made the evening but very expensive night out for sitting and looking at the goings on of the bar area.
Food was very good as always . Service wasn't as good as usual. Chalking it up to Mothers Day Weekend!
This is an authentic French dining experience. We had delicious steak frites with a superb bottle of Bordeaux wine. The owner takes pride to ensure that every aspect of the dining experience is enjoyable. The wait staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive.
Tried the pork chop with ratatouille and I was impressed. Very flavorful.
It’s time to get over the mask! Owner freaked out bc 4 people walked in without mask and didn’t get past the podium, the restaurant was sold out and these patrons couldn’t even come in to dine!! If u want to be that over the top about masks then I will go elsewhere! Wake up America, do u want your business back or do you want to play into the control of wearing mask and not thinking logical!!!
Dear Guest, In case you are unaware of the current Pandemic situation and restrictions implemented by the CDC and the Governor of Kentucky, MASKS are required to enter any establishment in the state of Kentucky. Like noted on the big sign at the entrance of our restaurant, everyone is required to wear a mask when entering and moving inside our facility. Thank you, Guy.
