The oyster mushroom appetizer was wonderful. The lavender thyme bone in pork chop was large and delicious. The Pistachio strawberry macaroon cake was amazing!
Did a wonderful job making us feel safe with the way tables were laid out and how the staff interacted. Trust the wine recommendations, the pairings were wonderful.
Everything was really good - nice place, great service - excellent atmosphere. The raspberry mousse was amazing. The only mark against for me was that the scallops/risotto were SUPER salty. I am a bit salt intolerant anyway - but it was almost inedible. The rest of the meal was fantastic though.
Went for Valentine's Dinner. Fixed price menu. Were totally underwhelmed. Food was "ok" and the dinner was overpriced. Our server was robot-like and did nothing to enhance our dining experience. There are plenty of other restaurants in town to try before going back, if ever.
Our server was professional and highly competent and the food was delicious.
I informed the waiter that I didn’t like the soup and he didn’t offer to replace it.
Wine was amazing, steak was delicious. Just wish the service was alittle better.
I am a widow who has a standing dinner date with another widow I’ve known for many years, This year because of COVID we gave careful thought to a safe dining experience. We chose Provence and were not disappointed. We had a quiet dinner and the food was divine. They had a special menu. The 3 course meal was perfect as was the service. We have already determined next year’s location. We will return and may likely return before then. Such a pleasure.
Excellent prix fixe Valentines dinner. The food and service were top notch.
Great meal for Valentines celebration. Will go back.
Great restaurant. Great staff. Great meal.
The food and service were excellent!
You can always count on wonderful food, wine and service
Food and waiter and waitress were good. When we entered and exited restaurant it would have been thoughtful if they would have opened the doors for me as I was using a knee scooter.
Absolutely wonderful....excellent food and service!
We have eaten at Brasserie many times and as always, we had a fabulous meal.
This is our send time in two weeks we have been back and once again had the pork chop which was outstanding. First time for the French onion soup and believe the is the best French Onion soup I have had. Service was exceptional and Guy made sure our experience was a good one. I’ll add their old forester Manhattan was perfect.
A wonderful find for us. (We recently moved to Louisville from Santa Barbara, CA). A neighborhood gem with fine fare and gracious service. An unassuming strip-mall location on the outside; a bit of Provence inside. We will be back for sure.
Went for lunch. Quiet atmosphere overall.
Service was fine, not good, not bad..just fine.
French Onion soup was amazing but everything else was ok. Again not bad but not great either.
If you love French onion soup try theirs!!
I appreciate your conscientiousness regarding Covid
Excellent experience, food was great.
Dinner with my daughter after her return from here honeymoon. A nice Quiet booth to talk. A server who was attentive but not intrusive. The food was well prepared as always and the staff was friendly and efficient
Provence takes the CDC guidelines very seriously; temperature check, hand sanitizer, spacious seating. Our waiter was excellent and cordial, food was delicious. A great place for a girls' lunch or dinner with friends.
This place was perfect for my large family, they have a very nice King Style table that will seat 12, they were very helpful with my same day change in reservation. The server was polite and patient with my large group!
Best French Restaurant in Louisville by far.
- Food and Service are superb !!!
Felt very safe on how BP socially distanced the tables, checked temps and required hand sanitizer on entry. My porkchop dish was outstanding but my mother had the duck breast and it was very tough and had a hard time cutting even with a sharp knife.
It was our first visit to Brasserie Provence. We have been aware of the restaurant for some time but not taken the initiative to make a reservation.
We were quite pleased with the food, service and ambiance of our experience. The menu offered some nice alternatives to most other restaurants in the area and we found them well chosen and prepared.
We will return based on our experience.
Best French style restaurant in Louisville. Food is always delicious and fresh
Outstanding food, wonderful service and a must stop for us whenever we’re in Louisville. My only complaint is that they don’t have a sister restaurant in Chicago. They’d absolutely crush the competition. Well done!
Had a romantic meal with my husband. Was delicious food, wonderful service, and relaxing, romantic ambience. My new favorite restaurant. I’ll be going back a lot!
Our meal was delicious--my wife received the wrong order, but enjoyed the salmon she was given. Neither of us ordered the broccoli so that was taken off our bill. The lavender honey pork chop was the best pork chop I've ever eaten. The lemon tart and lyonnaise salad were delicious.
Guy is a wonderful owner. We will definitely be back as this is one of our favorite restaurants in Louisville.
Me and my wife were there on Saturday evening we had the escargot and mushrooms for our appetizer and the pork chop and trout for our entree then for desert we had the cream burlee. The food was excellent and our waitress was very good at explaining the menu and was very polite. We will definitely go back and we highly recommend
The food was amazing --- the pork chop is the best ever...the chicken dish is off the charts....the macaron cake is stupendous. The wine selection is so fine. I can't recommend enough.
Great evening with good food, service, and ambiance.
The staff here is always attentive. The food is amazing and they are willing to make a dish off menu.
We had an amazing dinner and Jeffrey, our server, was fabulous. We had the cast iron skillet mushrooms as an appetizer which we all shared. The whole meal was truly wonderful and the half price bottles of wine was an added bonus!
This was our third time dining at Brasserie Provence and our experience always exceeds our expectations. We dined here last night to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. We were seated in a secluded area near a fireplace which made the ambiance even more special. Our server was outstanding and gave us room to enjoy our evening while remaining attentive to our needs. The food was phenomenal - we started with a bottle of bordeaux and a charcuterie board. I had the ahi tuna steak as my entree and he had the lamb shank special. We were surprised with a mini chocolate cake and a candle for his birthday. From start to finish, everything was amazing. The staff is also taking proper COVID-19 precautions. I work in a hospital and was happy to see that they are taking pandemic precautions seriously. Thank you all for making our evening out so special! We will definitely be back! :)
Great experience for our first date. We will definitely be back
French cuisine is uncommon to find in US, and more so, French Provence cuisine....more so, in our region.
Brasserie Provence is a unique treasure in our region. The Mediterranean influence and fusion with French classic cuisine makes Brasserie Provence cuisine the best of both worlds. Fresh, healthy, sophisticated, unique.
Brasserie Provence has multiple courses (appetizers, salads/soups, mains and desserts) that are each extraordinarily well crafted, well thought out, and not like anything you will find in this region (ditto for the wines and cocktails)...unless you travel to Provence.
We loved it, easy access, easy parking, wonderful staff.
Friendly. Clean. Prompt. Safe distance. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable and offered many great recommendations which we enjoyed. We will be back on Valentines Day. Making our reservation now.
The atmosphere was grand, the service superb, and the food was delicious!
