   We were seated at a beautiful table on a not-too-busy Wednesday. Service and food were both incredible. The onion soup is ALWAYS perfect. Also highly recommend the steak tartare. Moscow mule was great. We were too full to even have dessert but will be back soon to try it out. Thank you!

   Terrible food. Quality has significantly decreased in the past few months. It just wasn’t good. Eggs overcooked, salad seemed to have been sitting out for hours, burger missing half the ingredients. Sound and noise was unbearable, we couldn’t hear anyone speak on our table. Clearly zero effort has been made on part of restaurant owners to manage noise in back rooms. Will think twice before going again.

   Restaurant doesn’t even have a digital card reader! Had to pay cash cause I usually do t carry physical card and wait for the manager to go upstairs to bring back change. Hard to believe that small farmers markets have card readers and a restaurant like this one doesn’t! Won’t be back any time soon

    This place is really nice, the food is very very good. Our problem was that we got a reservation at 10pm. And we were rushed on everything, got all food and deserts together. Maybe they shouldn’t seat at 10 pm if this is gonna happen. Wish we could have had more time to enjoy the food.

    Food was less than stellar! Duck confit should melt in your mouth, but unfortunately it was more fried duck and though. The rest of the food was lukewarm at best. Will not return even though the service was on point.

    Absolutely stellar experience! Honestly the best meal I have had dining out on the last five years. Worth the hour drive from Annapolis and making plans to return. Can't recommend enough.     My husband and myself visited to celebrate my birthday, and while we had high hopes for a memorable experience, our evening turned out to be a mix of highs and lows. We had made a reservation through OpenTable and specifically mentioned that we were there to celebrate a birthday. Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately struck by the pleasant ambiance and stylish decor. The interior design created a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a special occasion. However, our initial excitement quickly waned as we approached the host podium. the host did not extend a warm welcome or acknowledge the occasion we were celebrating. Instead, she led us to a table that was situated right in the middle of the walkway. This placement seemed rather odd and made it difficult to enjoy our meal without feeling like an obstacle to passing guests. We started our dining experience by ordering escargot and French onion soup as our appetizers. Fortunately, these dishes lived up to our expectations. The escargot was delightfully seasoned and cooked to perfection, while the French onion soup was rich and flavorful, truly a comforting delight. However, our enthusiasm was short-lived when our main courses arrived. We opted for the duck confit and beef bourguignon, hoping for a continuation of the culinary excellence we had experienced with the appetizers. Unfortunately, both dishes fell far short of our expectations. The duck confit lacked the expected depth of flavor, leaving us underwhelmed. It was disappointing to see such a classic dish fail to deliver on its reputation. Similarly, the beef bourguignon was dry and lacked the succulence and tenderness that this dish is known for. It was evident that the meat had been overcooked, resulting in an unpleasant texture. In an attempt to rectify the situation, a supervisor, dressed in a coat, approached our table and offered to make the dishes again. However, we decided to skip the offer.

    Our first visit was a pleasure. Wonderful range of excellent seating options indoors and out -- and quite an extensive amount of outdoor seating. Broad menu (French, of course); reasonable prices, lovely presentation, excellent service, and very good value on wines by the glass or bottle.

    We found this place very average. The decor was charming, but the atmosphere was not. The server was at best indifferent. I am tired of restaurants where one is made to feel as though they are inconveniencing the staff, and that was the attitude here. Case in point, I asked for new bread because the bread had been pre-sliced and the thin slices dried out. If there is one basic requirement at a French restaurant, it is good bread. The server looked at me like I was crazy and brought more of the same, this time warmed in the oven. The food itself was not exceptional in any way. I had mussels and my son and husband both had the filet. The citron tart was smothered in whipped cream and the crepe brûlée was of a thinnish consistency. It was all fine, but not worth returning for. Overall, a disappointing experience.

    glasses were dirty and silverware was dirty. we had to ask for clean glasses and utensils twice. waitress could barely understand anything we ordered and didn't know the menu, or speak English very well to communicate. Waitress never came back to ask us how was food, she did not ask me how i wanted my $40 steak prepared and when it came to the table i had to send it back because it was way to raw for my taste. family ate their meal while i had to wait for my steak to be re-cooked. our table was placed right next to where people line up to use the bathroom. Overall I would say $160 for 3 people was way too expensive for the quality of food and for the service provided. I would not recommend this place.

    The decent food quality does not make up for the lack in service. Yes it was Mother's Day and very busy, but it did not seem like the staff knew what was going on and did not pay attention to us that much. Your bar may be backed up, but 50 minutes for a drink is pretty ridiculous. We do not feel the need to come back here again.

    This was very frustrating and disappointing. We told our server we wanted to order our appetizers early before we ordered our entrees. He didn’t like that but took our order as we wished. After a long wait when tables that were seated after us had already received their food, suddenly our entrees arrived. We had never received our appetizers. So then they took my wife’s entree back so they could properly serve her the appetizers. Then they gave her a dirty spoon for her soup. The appetizers came quickly and were good. But when they delivered my wife’s entree again it was incorrect. And throughout our time at the table, we always had to stop and ask someone to bring us more water. No one ever did it on their own. Through all of this, there was no effort or offer to make things right. The food was all very good, and we were charged properly, but enough mistakes were made throughout the meal that I expected a little more effort to make sure we had a good experience. Good food, good atmosphere, bad service.

    The restaurant had over 1,000 reservations for Mother’s Day, but the food and service was not affected at all—-our dining experience was great! There was no wait for our meal and the staff was extremely friendly as always, and the food was delicious.

    The food was absolutely delicious. From the appetizer to the desert, my wife and I were amazed at every bite. As delicious as the food was, we found it to be fairly priced. It did get very loud in there as it was a Saturday and though we arrived before 7, it quickly became very busy. We were seated before our reservation time as well. Our waitress was good but we waited a bit too long at times which reduced the quality of the experience.

    We had one of the worse service experiences we have had in a long time… someone who wasn’t even a trained server (pretty sure she was the water filler) was told to take our table. She wasn’t at all familiar with the menu, couldn’t answer any questions, didn’t know what things were… it was literally like it was her first time with the menu ever. She struggled to take our order and then disappeared for a long time… she finally came back to refill water and spilled it everywhere. We waited over 30 minutes for our drinks and then all our food (appetizers and main course) came all at once. The food was all ABSOLUTELY amazing and if based on food and atmosphere alone, this would be a 5 star review… but SERVICE REALLY MATTERS and this experience left a terrible taste in my mouth despite how wonderful the food was. The management finally stepped in and a senior waiter took care of us the rest of the meal. We appreciated the two cocktails on the house and their apologies… but the initial service experience really put a damper on my special meal. I can’t be mad at the “server” as she was clearly thrown into a situation where she was told to serve our table without proper training… really not fair for her either.
