The service was terrible. Our server disappeared at multiple times, including for 30 minutes at the end when I finally found a manager to get our check; the manager didn’t care. We were seated in a room that became empty long before we finished, a hostess error. Drinks sat the bar with ice melting long before being delivered. Cod patties came as balls with little taste of cod; seemed like something from a bag of frozen balls that could be purchased from a cheap grocer. Boeuf Bourguignon was terrible; dried out beef in a thick, sweet gravy. At $26, it wasn’t priced consistently with the prepared version, but it should resemble the real thing.
Always reliable with respect to the quality of and portions of food.
Little accident with the causing a glass of iced tea to be dumped on my husband.
Not a big deal but it would have been nice to have been offered a "little" something to say oops.
My friend canceled and I had to dine alone. It was one of my best dining experiences. The chef is a master.
Food was incredible but the service was slow. We ended up spending 30-45 minutes more than we would have just because we had to wait a lot. The mac and cheese was amazing and I would return just to have that!
Great food and service
Friendly and efficient service and fresh well prepared food.
Always great and great service and foos
For our first Sunday brunch at a restaurant in more than a year, 6 of us chose Brasserie Liberte because of our experience there among various restaurants we visit every Sunday morning. We were not disappointed. The food is wonderful, the staff is welcoming, the place is beautifully decorated but not stuffy and the service is great.
Very attentive and courteous staff, our birthday celebration for our friend was just perfect.
Excellent food and service at a reasonable price. Here you can get the Georgetown ambiance without being snobish.
Requested written of happy birthday on dessert plate for birthday , horrible horrible work, looked like a Halloween dessert. Very disappointed
One if my favorit resturants in DC. The food is great and the prices are even better. The resturant and outdoor ear is beautifully decorated. Their French Onion Soup is amazing. Their drinks are good but don't have a tun of alcohol in them. The bread and butter is freshly made in the resturant.
The menu is classic french and very good. We had escargot to start with and then cassoulet and mussels with french fries. Everything was wonderful. Even had a fabulous dessert. The outdoor patio was very nice, so now that the weather is warmer, it's a lovely way to spend a warm evening.
It did take quite a while to get service when we first sat down -- I think there may have been some confusion about who's table it was, not sure. But once we did finally get a waitress, she was very good.
Expensive for what it is, the only dish that was worth buying was the steak frites.
Spent Easter Sunday at Brassiere Liberte. Everything was delicious! Service was excellent. Portion sizes were generous. We will define back on our next trip to D.C.!
Lovely in every way. Food was beautifully prepared and delicious. The service was top notch. A wonderful brunch!
Fantastic!
Lovely Easter brunch! Staff were attentive to every consideration of our table snd the food was spot on!! They are doing everything right to provide a safe and welcoming dining experience during this unusual time.
It was my family's first significant outing in a year. We visited for Easter brunch and did not disappoint at all. Looking forward to the next trip.
We ate at BL for Easter Brunch 2021 and enjoyed every minute of it. The food and service was fantastic. We ate outside since it was a gorgeous day. The outside space was welcoming and beautiful we didn't want to leave!
Wonderful restaurant - such a delightful find! Delicious brunch, friendly staff, and beautifully decorated. Loved every minute of our visit - hope to return soon!
Too many great selections to choose from. Professional and friendly service from everyone.
Food wasn't great and the waiter was very focused on us ladies ordering heavy, unhealthy food. Weird. I ordered a side of bacon and it came out dry and flavorless. The manager noticed that I didn't eat it, asked how it was, and when I casually mentioned that it wasn't great, he graciously took it off the bill. I appreciated that.
The decor is beautiful. Our server was fantastic and we were seated at a very nice and comfortable table. We enjoyed our brunch very much and will definitely be back!
Sunny, airy, welcoming, comfortable. Solicitous staff, tasty brunch.
Beautiful outside patio. Efficient service but the fries were soggy and over salted and the steak had no flavor.
Bonne cuisine et bon rapport qualité prix
Beautiful setting, wonderful ambience. The velvet domed seat is a must. The steak was fantastic - definitely recommend. Service was really helpful yet out of sight
Perfect evening. The rain held out, we sat outside with a nice heat lamp. Found a parking spot across the street. Had a wonderful meal, delicious. Dessert was decadent. Drink menu was the only thing I struggled with, just couldn't find 'my' thing that night. I was looking of a sweet after dinner drink but couldn't come across one, however they have lots to offer, just not my taste. The service was very attentive. Bread before the food was fresh and tasty and crusty too.
The food and service were outstanding
Food was delicious, but the service was spotty & slow and took a very long time
I always have fun here and enjoy myself. I do wish the service was more consistent and definitely could expand the menu to more classic French food. Not the kind of place that really needs burgers and fries on the menu. Salmon en croute? Coc au Vin?
Qui, qui!
Great setting, great food and service! Very sexy perfect for a date night or special celebration
Beautiful Restaurant.
Great Service! Eduardo made the night!
Good not so good. Very, very salty onion soup. Tough meat (beef bourgenione) and burnt sauce
I enjoy going to Brasserie Liberté! Everything about the place is amazing!
Initial service was great...we went there to celebrate our marriage. About half way through we were just abandinded by our waitress and was not even offered a dessert to purchase! Also, the French Onion soup was way too salty! Overall not impressed.
Best food I had in a long time in Georgetown, will come back
Amazing restaurant! One of my best experiences, from beginning to end the entire staff was super attentive and friendly. My friends and I felt at home and taken care of with Evan, the manager, as at the end of our meal, he came over to check on us. The food was delicious, I recommend trying the french onion soup.
it was fantastic. we did a last minute reservation this weekend and the food was incredible, great wine selection. will definitely be adding this to the rotation
The ambiance was amazing, food was delicious, the service was great. Food came within 15-20 minutes, servers were always at hand to ask questions & were very helpful.
