   We had a reservation for 12pm the restaurant wasn’t very busy, we waited 15 mins after sitting down before host had to come over and take our order. We ordered apps, drinks and main course at the same time. All the food came out at the same time about 10 mins later, we didn’t see another server till we were done eating and got our check.

   My sister and I had brunch at Le Mistral on Mother's Day. She had the French toast and I had burrata and we exchanged tastes. The dishes were presented absolutely beautifully (we took pictures, and we are not people who routinely take pictures of our food) and they were the best French toast and burrata we had ever had. In addition, all the staff were genuinely warm as well as professional, and the ambiance. was lovely. We sat outside at one of their tables with umbrellas, so I don't know about the noise level inside -- it was probably loud that day since the restaurant was packed! The prices for these dishes was very reasonable. Their dinner menu is more expensive, but with these chefs in this beautiful restaurant I'm sure the dishes are worth the price. I will definitely be back.

   The duck was excellent! Moist, tender and properly seasoned. The collard greens were very salty and I couldn't eat them. I enjoyed the duck so much that I did not care if I ate the greens! The Mont Blanc for dessert was excellent too.

   I made a large reservation and the staff were all super accommodating. They reached out in advance and offered a family style menu to ensure quick service, and the menu they offered was delicious and very reasonably priced. We had an amazing time and loved all the food, could not recommend more!

    What a great restaurant. No exclamation point. It’s just a fact. The food was just as good as Boucherie—maybe better, even—but without the pretense and pressure and lousy attitude. We started with the salad of tomates, melon grillé, betteraves en carpaccio, which was recommended by the server. A really perfect, light and refreshing way to start a meal. My friend had steak frites which she said was excellent; I had the canard à la lavande which was as superb as it sounds. We cleared our plates in their entirety. The sommelier was just the sweetest and clearly knew his stuff. He was so friendly and genuinely wanted us to enjoy his wine suggestion and understand its origins—without any condescension whatsoever. Shocking, eh? Service was so relaxed, everyone was really kind and attentive in an unobtrusive way. Even one of the chefs fondly bid us a pleasant good night as we left (he was sitting outside of the restaurant as it was towards the end of their night). The staff at Le Mistral really makes you feel like you’re visiting a friend’s restaurant. You leave feeling content and happy.

    We've been to Brasserie Le Mistral for dinner but this was our first time for brunch on Easter Sunday. Sadly, it was not what we expected. There were no specials for the holiday and the vibe was kind of ho-hum. Our server was obviously very new, but we are an easy going bunch. It was good he got us becasue he had several mishaps: dropped a pitcher of water behind the bar, knocked over our wine cooler, etc. we understood he was new and other staff worked deftly to right the issues and were very accomodating. I think it was not even 2 days later I received an email announcing their new spring menu. I wish they had introduced the new menu before our visit. The brunch food was pretty standard fare - nothing exciting. Dinner is definiately a better option here. And in the summer when all the doors/windows are open and they have live music, it's very pleasant. We will surely give it another try as the staff was, like I said, very accomodating. And the sommelier recognized us, which was lovey ; )

    We had a lovely anniversary meal there. The mussels were excellent! And everything in between was delicious. The manager, Al, was on top of his game, warm and welcoming, and our server, James, went above and beyond. Not only a special occasion place to dine but dining there can turn even an ordinary evening into something extraordinary! Highly recommend.

    Went for brunch this past Sunday. What a delicious meal! When we walked in and saw everyone else’s food I didn’t think I’d know what to eat because it all looked so good. Everyone from the hostess to our waiter James were attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, plated thoughtfully but not pretentious. Without exaggeration I can say that I ate the best omelette I have ever eaten in my life. I wish I could eat the potatoes every day, and applewood smoked bacon was perfectly cooked. The beet salad was delicious, as was the chocolate mousse. My mom got the steak and eggs sandwich and the sauce on that was the perfect combination of spice and flavor. We received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and were even allowed to take it with us. Ambiance was quaint and perfect for conversation. I can’t wait to go back to have dinner here, will definitely be a go to spot in the rotation! Compliments to the chef and owner, knocked this menu out of the park.

    My girlfriend and I dropped in for a date night and were very impressed with the atmosphere, the food, and the service. Thursday nights, Le Mistral hosts live music, and it really sets a romantic mood for the evening. We ended up falling in love with the Beet Salad and the Veal Stew, the latter having a comforting homestyle recipe. The Sommelier had an excellent Cote Du Rhône to pair with our meals. We ended the meal with the Dame Blanche. Honestly, some of the best food you will find in Brooklyn, if not the entire city.

    Utterly basic brasserie menu — a carbon copy of 50 other places. Food was fine, well-prepared, but that steak wasn’t worth $45 (and I’m someone willing to pay Michelin started prices when the food is of that caliber). Staff was pleasant enough and made no errors. Short beer/wine list, no booze license yet. Sauternes was slightly alcoholic kool-aid, not an interesting dessert wine — avoid it. This isn’t somewhere I’d visit again because there’s nothing memorable about it. They should be brave and get creative with their menu — kitchen staff has the skill to execute.

    I took my wife to this restaurant for a casual date night. Loved it! We go to a lot of top restaurants and the food here was better than many michelin star restaurants I have been to. The staff were super nice and extremely attentive. Can’t wait to go back!

    Very disappointed in the new management and staff. We were notified of the re-opening but there was no mention of the changes. The staff is at best inexperienced and inattentive. The food is a few notches below what Eric delivered. We will not be back.

    Service was perfect. Ana was attentive and did not rush us in anyway. The owner, Eric, wanted to make sure that everything we ordered was prepared perfectly. It was easy to tell hat only fresh high quality ingredients were used. The atmosphere of the bistro makes you feel as if you are in Paris. We definitely look forward to coming back again and will try to return on a night when they have music.

    Had the Beef Brisket and it was so good. The gravy not salty nor was the beef. The coffee was excellent as always and my friends had the Croque Madame and the Salmon Benedict and they loved it. The food is really, really superb and I always bring my friends to Le Mistral for a great meal.

    The croque madam and it was EXCELLENT and the green salad was delicious as well (you can have fries which are also good, but opted out of that choice, had too many fried items lately). The sandwich was toasted perfectly and the Sunnyside egg was cooked perfectly as well. The meal was so satisfying and filling, I didn't have dinner. The coffee was excellent, usually drink 3 cups, put Le Mistral's coffee blend is strong and very smooth and only need to drink one cup! The wait staff was attentive and very nice. The new keyboard musician played a variety of music from Jazz to standards. The price for the meal was work every cent, the food quality was top notch. I highly recommend this Bistro for anyone wanting to eat out, can't wait till my next visit.

    The food wasn’t as good as the first couple of times we were here, and they were very inflexible with the menu (we wanted a few berries on a crepe, and to do so had to buy an entire side for $12). We also paid $6 per cup of coffee (including refills). May try to give it one more shot, but we were disappointed.

    Superb! Made my 5 year anniversary unforgettable. The owner says that he wants to treat everyone like family and he really does. I booked this as a special evening for my 5 year anniversary. Open Table messed it up a little bit so the owner did everything possible to make it an unforgettable night. The food is excellent. I have never had steak cooked so well.

    Terrible experience. Made a reservation with open table, provided my phone number and email address. When came to the restaurant it was closed due to some maintenance. Person who great us at the place knew about my reservation but was so ignorant and did not call or emailed about the place being closed. I end up spending 40 min in traffic to get there for nothing and thereafter looking for a new place to eat. Terrible service!

    A lovely place. seemed a little overwhelmed by volume of diners on MothersDay - dishes ran out and food was over cooked. Service was pleasant but frazzled and a little slow.     Food was excellent but definitely overpriced for the neighborhood. Music was way too loud until the restaurant filled up helping to diffuse the sound. Prices were much higher than what was listed in open table where a veal chop was listed at $40 but was $60 on the menu at the restaurant. Even though the food was excellent not sure I would go again since there are other places in the neighborhood just as good and more reasonably priced

We use only the top quality ingredients from world renowned suppliers; with higher quality ingredients come higher prices. If you feel we are overpriced there are other restaurants in our area, but you will not find the same quality, decades of experience, and excellence in service.

    Truly outstanding food. We had chicken, steak, fish, duck and salad and everything was totally delicious and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the wine is considerably overpriced, i.e. the cost/quality ratio is not what it should be due to excessive markups. There was a couple presenting really fabulous, live, classic Brazilian jazz in the corner. I note, however, that the room is acoustically "live" and the music plus ambient noise meant that we could not enjoy the sort of quiet conversation that - at least for me - is what I want with such wonderful food. On a night with no live music, it could be different.

    The owner and staff were not only very professional but friendly and kind. The ambiance with Brazilian bossa nova was interesting for a French restaurant but very enjoyable. The food is delicious. I very much recommend this place.
