Wonderful place! Food is amazing, service is very good. Great experience.
Excellent service and all the food that we ordered was very tasty.
The food was just wonderful! This was our first visit and we came during Restaurant Weeks. The menu was great and everything was delicious . Our server, Natasha, was just delightful and very attentive. It was a big anniversary for my husband and me and the manager brought us a special desert. We will definitely come here again. It's a nice, quiet romantic place to celebrate an occasion. Very good French food at an affordable price is amazing in Houston!
Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend! The lobster bisque didn't have any visible lobster, but was flavorful. I would like to have had a few pieces of lobster in the bowl. Otherwise, dinner was superb.
We went for dinner on a Saturday night during restaurant week. The escargot was buttery and full of garlic and herbs (more bread please), the duck confit was well braised and I added the foie gras, yum. The crepes were well, good. We had so much fun, we went to the bar afterwards for drinks. Would love to come back for happy hour.
Fabulous food. The menu was interesting with plenty of choices. I had the duck confit, my wife the sole. Both dishes were perfect. The wine list was a good mix of styles and prices.
Our server could have been a bit more attentive, we wanted more wine, but by the time he checked on us, we were done with our entrees.
During dessert, a STRONG smell of cigarettes came over our table and stayed there. As we left, we saw it was from employees smoking out the side door. Not pleasant, to be sure.
The four of us enjoyed two dinners from the Restaurant Weeks menu and two dinners off the regular menu. The Sea Bass off the regular menu was a nice size portion and perfectly cooked. The Sole Meunière and Steak Frites from the Restaurant Weeks menu were both excellent and a nice bargain. We went on a Friday night and it was very busy so it was surprising that the kitchen was able to get everything just right. The staff is very friendly and we had a very good overall experience.
Excellent Food. Cooked and prepared the traditional Classic French way.
Good service. Great atmosphere.
A little scattered
Good ambience and value in the bar. Good service and tasty food for dinner.
We went during Houston Restaurants Weeks and each ordered the $20 prix fixe lunch menu. The Lobster Bisque was to die for and my Sole Meuniere was great. My cousin ordered the Salmon Crepe and said it was very good. The Creme Brulee (extra $5) was the best I’ve ever had! Service was great…very knowledgeable and polite. You have to pay for parking on a weekday as far as I can tell, but I used a meter right in front and it was $2.00/hr. Not bad.
Our waiter was extremely helpful and polite! The ambience was quiet but spacious restaurant. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the lobster bisque, risotto and creme brûlée.
Love how new silverware was given each course and I’m amazing with the price point.
We ate dinner early (5:30 pm), and the place was deserted when we sat down. It perked up quite a bit by the time we left and had a fun, lively atmosphere. We were trying it for the first time as part of our HRW participation and found it to be one of the best values out there. The food was great, the service impeccable (and fun too!) and the atmosphere very enjoyable. It was all good and can highly recommend it.
Generous portions and lovely, creative variety for Houston Restaurants Weeks Lunch Menu. Love this sweet place throughout the year, as well!
Selected because they are a participant in Houston Restaurant Weeks fundraising for the food bank. I felt we were being rushed to get in and out. The food was good and I will go back again as there are many items in the menu I would like to try.
Service was excellent. The manager Tony was very accommodating when we needed a different seating for a birthday celebration, Natasha who was our service guide was very nice. The foie grams was to die for and so was the lobster bisque. Will definitely go back,
This is such a cute restaurant close to discovery green and overlooking a park area with lots of windows. The food is fresh and authentic and the service was very good as well. Our water glasses were never empty and the servers checked on us several times during our meal. I would definitely return again!
Everything was amazing! My only suggestion would be to play some light/soft background music in the dining area. My date and I had a great time.
Awesome food, with a great atmosphere. If you want to splurge a little, this is your kind of place. The brown butter sauce is addictive.
We love coming here for lunch! It’s always quiet and the food is delicious!
Really enjoyable dining experience with friends. Great food.
Applies to restaurant week lunch. Coq a vin awesome! Sole was pretty much good. Pate very tasty but hard to spread. Too cold that early in the day. Pay the extra five dollars for the pistachio panacotta. Delicious!!
My wife and I had one last dinner with friends before departing to Irving Texas for work. It’s been a great pleasure dining here every few months for the last 4 1/2 years.
Delicious food, great ambience. Perfect for a date night.
The food was extremely salty. I have been here before and food was ok but this was almost inedible.
We ate the Houston Restaurant Weeks menu. It was so good. The service was excellent.
My family and I had an early dinner before an Astros game and the entire experience was fantastic. They were short staffed, as many restaurants are these days, but offered us a seat in the bar until the dining area was ready. Our waiter, Simon, was wonderful and respected the fact we had a game to get to. We enjoyed the mussels, sole, salmon, and of course the amazing mushroom ravioli….all delicious! Thank you for a great way to kick off a fun family evening
Amazing food and drinks, and our waiter was wonderful!
Amazing food and service! My friend and I went for HRW. Would definitely come back!
Went here with my friends for Houston Restaurant Weeks 2021. 25 dollars for a 3 course meal, great food, great wine! 8.9/10
We came for the restaurant week lunch. Lobster Bisque was not hot. It was just warm. Pate was very good. I had the smoke salmon crepe, and my husband had the filet of sole. The sole was crispy and delicious, and the crepe was very good too.
The steak taste really good but the texture too rough
Wonderful find! Decided to try somewhere new during Restaurant Month, and Brasserie du Parc did not disappoint! A wonderful experience from the time we walked in the door and were greeted by the hostess. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and made suggestions based on our inquiries. Floor manager passed by and chatted, as well. Will definitely be making a return visit!
We loved it!
The service along with the food selections for Houston Restaurant week were outstanding!
Great drinks, great service. Nice brasserie with views of Discovery Green
Very nice view of park, nice atmosphere, casual with good service and authentic French brasserie vibe.
Absolute jewel of a restaurant. Beautiful location, great service. Probably the best duck confit I’ve had outside of southern France! The mushroom ravioli was out of this world. And the pistachio panna cotta was superb. Extremely good value on food and wine. I have been recommending to everyone!
Wonderful menu, good food and drink, reasonable prices for a fancy French Restaurant. I love the atmosphere. Our waiter was new and struggled, but we understood.
Good food. Salmon dish was excellent
