As alway we have a great time there during Sunday Brunch. Our waiter Jaime was great.
Muy bonito!!! Buena atencion !!!
Have been in this place several times, but the quality of food and specially the service have been declining. This time the service was terrible and the food was as bad. Not worth it anymore.
Overall not a bad place but felt that the service was a bit stale with the waiter who served us looked like a busboy and was very aloof. Anyway. Food was decent but not top shelf French cuisine. Seemed more Italian than French.
We dined with friends and had a delicious meal. We have been there before and always recommend the restaurant. We recommend sitting outside as it is quieter and a lovely setting.
Always the best French food in town
Coq au Vin... as in France!
They could not perform simple aperitif order in three tries. Moule had excessive broth. Coc au vin was gristly and bony. Bottle of wine was decent value. Pont l’eveque cheese was very good. Staff were overly concerned with clearing table but not with checking on satisfaction
Excellent food and ambience. Small but cozy
Service was excellent
My first time there. Had the Miami Spice menu. Very good. Loved it and will go back. Best French Onion Soup I had besides being in Paris.
Good restaurant for French casual classics. Service good (not great). Food was a little slow coming out of the kitchen but was very tasty.
The food was great, however I made a reservation for our anniversary a week before and they gave us one of the worst spots!! Don’t make a reservation because they don’t seem to care.
We enjoyed the place; great spot to go just before the movies.
Javier, our waiter, was very accommodating.
Food was beautifully prepared and flavorful: salad lyonnaise and mussels were outstanding. Our waiter Francoise was courteous, friendly and attentive, and advised us of their happy hour prices. His assistant was equally attentive. The hostess (shorter blonde) was surly and appeared to not be interested in her job. The outside seats were wet from the recent rain, and she proceeded to seat us without an offer of drying. As she took away two place settlings I asked for the napkins to dry the chairs and she said ‘ok’ and moved on. She seemed to be equally as aloof with other customers who experienced the same wet chairs.
It is clear that the menu was designed by a skilled French chef. But the execution is sub-par: bar tender with an attitude, waiters whose grasp of English is minimal (granted we are in Miami so...dress up wit( your Spanish to be understood), and noise level pretty high so dont count on any romantic atmosphère.
This restaurant serves amazing French food! I met a friend for lunch and she ordered Coq Au Vin Lyonnaise and I ordered Moules Mariniere (steamed mussels in white wine, garlic and parsley). Both dishes were superb. I'd highly recommend this establishment. The food is very fresh and you won't be disappointed.
This was my fourth time at this restaurant. Every single time the food was outstanding! I will be going again. Not the kind of place to go if you are in a time crunch however.
Excelente food, true French flavor. Great oysters, salads, soups, desserts
My favorite place!! I liked the duck at Brasserie better than in France!!!!!!
The waiter we had was not trained. He made mistake after mistake the entire time. It was a real
Turn off. If I don’t like the trout as much as I
Do, I would not return !!!
Excellent French bistro dining. Great service, great menu, great kitchen; all at a reasonable price. This one is a winner.
Went to BC for Fathers' Day-- as must be true with any holiday like that, the place was packed, the staff was harried and the noise from customers and the kitchen was loud to the point of distraction. The server and we had trouble hearing each other. Also the server overlooked bringing out the cornichons with the burger a cheval, which had a burned bun. I've had better experiences at BC, I'll chalk this one off to the Fathers' Day crowd.
Wonderful service, food is very tasty. Will be back again, and again!
Very nice casual but elegant food excellent brunch and service very good parking easy and just a lovely place.
We dine here often and usually enjoy our food, ambiance and service. This time the service was atrocious. It started by a very disinterested front person who sat us in a rushed fashion (even though restaurant at best 1/3 full). I told him twice to check us in through open table and he didn’t - we were categorized as “no shows” by OT. Then we sat for a good 10-15 min before the waiter came to take our order (we did receive water right away). The waiter was literally 10 feet away talking to a co-worker. We didn’t know if he was our assigned waiter or another waitress that was engaged in long conversation with the manager. In any event, since no one was approaching us we called him and he came to take our order. Not a single person seem interested in our experience except the water person. The place seemed uncharacteristically disorganized and not as clean as usual. In the hopes that this was just an “off night” we will give them one more chance. We have always enjoyed BC as one of our local “homey” places. We hope not to lose it...
Dinner took so long.
It was packed for Mother’s Day. The food was good but the desserts were really great!
The food was excellent and the service very accommodating. We had a reservation, I suggest you make one, its a popular place. Had the lamb Shank with ratatouille and it was amazing.
Food was ok
Good food, nice atmosphere. We went for Mother's Day brunch and we really enjoyed it. The food is good, and the atmosphere is pleasant. We would recommend and return in future.
As always we enjoyed our meal. We LOVE the escargot here, great garlicky pesto butter with fresh bread to dip after you eat the actual escargot. I had the beet and endive salad, the veggies are fresh and they are generous with the beets. My husband had the beef bougunine (sp?)., it was very good!
Our only surprise was being charged for the water, that has never happened to us here before and we were not given the option of whether we wanted it or not. Our waiter was attentive but appeared to be new, not the usual bubbly informative waiters we had in the past. We hope he warms up with time!
On a cool or breezy evening, dining outdoors is a wonderful option. Classic french food, well prepared, and nicely served.
Wonderful french food. Good and comfortable ambiance - very french.
It’s a must in Miami.
They treated Fonzi very well, they made sure we felt welcomed with our beloved chihuahua (dining al fresco, of course)
The worst French Restaurant in the World. Most often French restaurants even if they're mom and pop have great tasting food - but this one NOT. Food quality was poor. Coffee was served cold 3 times - and stirrer was plastic straws - food was served cold and tasteless - with exception of bread pudding....this is not a French but masked as French - maybe the chefs all ran away - we've eating all over the world about 15 times in France - and only eat brunch at French restaurants - this one sucked big time.
As always, the food is authentic and so delicious. We would go to Brasserie Central for dinner before cinema at Landmark or Bill Cosford. We told all our friends about the restaurant.
French bistros are not common in South Florida, so that particular trait elevates this open-air restaurant beyond where the quality of the food and service would otherwise take you. Having been here numerous times, i tend to order what i assume will not be terrible, ssy salad or appetizer. Full meals are quite risky. And everyone gets charged a dollar for water, a bit cheeky, no? Still, it is an adequate mall eatery, and the ambience outdoors is pleasant. If one goes without expecting too much, disappointment will be minimal.
Service was quite good and attentive. Food arrived in a timely manner. Peel & Eat shrimp were rather small and tasteless, Beet salad was good but could also use some zip in the taste department. Steak frites- frites were very good and steak was mediocre. Profiteroles were delicious!!!
It is a very pleasant place, with a quiet atmosphere, which you will always like to return to. The Brunch menu is very well balanced and offers varieties for all tastes. It has the touch and the French atmosphere with the complement of the environment of Merrick Park. Very good service, very courteous and professional. From the menu we ordered oysters, salmon, lamb, steak, crepes, mousse au chocolat and everything was excellent.
