   The food and service were excellent. As much as it is everyone's right to espouse their views or beliefs, it does create a welcoming atmosphere to display views which may disagree with customers. It signals that only those who agree are welcome at that business, in my minds.

   The staff here was so wonderful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to seat our separate parties together and offered us a free champagne when our desserts were running long (without us even complaining!) I was very impressed with the staff, drinks, and overall vibe!

   They gave us a complimentary appetizer and dessert and were very apologetic. That should be a good indication of the poor experience. The food was not coursed properly and my entree was very lacking. My escargot appetizer arrived with my entree of mussels while my guests ate their salads first. The mussels were either severely overcooked or not fresh. Thankfully they were not actually spoiled. The second round of drinks arrived and the server didn’t know the Chardonnay from the Sauvignon Blanc. I have been here several times before and this is the first bad experience. I hope they were just having a bad night and not blasé about their business.

    We went to Brasserie for our anniversary. Our server was fantastic. She was attentive but not intrusive. We had the trout and the duck. Both were fantastic. We also both had desserts. Delicious but they also included a “happy anniversary” on the plate as well as champagne. I highly recommend.

    I was very surprised. The food was perfectly cooked, but lacked flavor. There’s nothing going on here that’s going to make your mouth happy, and that’s disproportionate to the cost.

    The meal was good. Didn’t blow anyone’s mind, but decently executed French fare. Best at the table was the trout. Service was indifferent. Loved the spot & decor - nice neighborhood vibe… Worst part was the inexplicably bad music playing in the back room where they seated us. We were there with our teenage sons and the playlist included a song called Hot & Heavy (we Shazammed it…) It’s as bad as it sounds. We did have a laugh, tho… Generally, the music selection made us wish we’d been seated in the main dining room. Nicer vibe in there for families, certainly.

    We were visiting St. Louis and were very happy with our experience at Brasserie by Niche. We chose to eat outside, but the inside ambience looked charming as well. The food was classic French bistro and excellent - with a little extra creativity.

    We were entertaining friends from Florida and they were so impressed! Having been to Brasserie before, we knew they would love it. The brunch menu is fabulous - so much to choose from and so unique to most other brunches. We ordered the French Breakfast, the quiche, the croque madame and the eggs Benedict. Every dish was perfectly prepared and presented. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. We know we can always count on a great meal at Brasserie.

    Usually this restaurant knocks it out of the park, but this evening was disappointing. Birthday celebration, but seated in Brassrail, and service was just OK. Trout was outstanding, but beef dish was just OK sorry to say. Should have gone with my chicken that I love! We will be back, but bummed to have just OK meal on a fun occation.

    Excellent staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered our questions with ease. They also made suggestions when we had asked about a particular wine. The food was perfectly prepared and the portions were such that we could have another meal from them. We ate outside and the weather was perfect w/no issues with insects. We will come again w/friends from out of state.
