Great food and great service! Definitely expensive but worth the cost for a special occasion. We left full and happy! Music and decor was a bit odd and didn’t fit the French theme but overall great experience.
Food was amazing! Service was very kind, although it was kind of busy. Would recommend!! A must go in STL
Excellent French food! I had escargot, steak with bernaise sauce, and chocolate mousse. It can't get any better than that! One of the best dining experiences I've had in St. Louis in quite a long time. Will be going back soon.
My only complaint was a back up and subsequent wait as we entered the restaurant which I think was due to COVID restrictions on occupancy. Everyone was gracious and the service was excellent once we were seated.
Great to be back!
Brasserie is a very special place. Excellent food and drinks, and all o the staff are kind, attentive and helpful
I had the duck. It was OK. Couldn’t really taste an orange glaze.
The food is delicious, but a bit pricey. I do think you get what you pay for, so just go in it knowing it’s going to cost more than your average dinner.
Hands down, one of the best restaurants in St. Louis. An all-time favorite for a casual happy hour, a romantic evening meal, or special occasion with out-of-town visitors. The food is wonderful, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is top notch.
The food was fantastic! Love the patio. Will definitely be back.
Had our daughter in from NYC over the weekend and took her to Brasserie. She likes to cook but we thought we would give her the first night off and Brasserie didn't disappoint. Food, service and ambiance were all great. The only negative thing was that the restaurant couldn't accommodate an earlier reservation than 8:45 - so if you are going to book a reservation do it early because reservations can go fast!
Great staff! Went above and beyond. Food was all incredible too
Brasserie never fails to knock it out of the park. The wait staff, the ambiance, the food, the cocktails - all make this place the wonderful dining experience it is. Our waiter, Caleb, was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to certain dietary needs within our group. He made our evening very relaxing and fun. The food is always excellent! Our desserts were out of this world... of course you can’t go wrong with creme brûlée but the Floating Island was a sweet air-whipped indulgence! Truly, Brasserie is one of our favorites in STL!
The cocktails, fries, & trout were amazing. This was the nicest meal we have had in a while! I haven’t even mentioned the best part yet... the dessert! We were celebrating my husbands birthday and the staff made us feel so loved.
Cauliflower soup was amazing. Also very fond of the olives and gougeres. Our waiter was very professional (knew the offerings well) and although he was busy, he checked back with us often. We felt he paid us just enough attention. A little noisy but tables were safely spaced out.
It was great and delicious. Try the chocolate mousse.
We had a very nice and enjoyable visit with good food, good service and all that we had looked forward to. The only think that took the lustre off a bit was a large table of people at the front of the room who were extremely loud. It made conversation at our own table a it hard to hear, but we managed. We will certainly visit again.
They're doing a great job keeping things distanced during covid restrictions!
Classic French brasserie food cooked well. We sat outside on the patio, which was pleasant. Staff was friendly.
Amazing experience! From a warm welcome at the front door to the amazing service and food, we are sure to return! Thank you!
Awesome food, fair price, exceptional service. Caleb did an amazing job as our waiter
Absolutely amazing experience and the food was incredible.
Chris was excellent server. The food at brunch is always delicious.
The portions are ridiculously small snd for the price, I expected the food to be great, which it was not. However, the service was outstanding, but because of the food being mediocre at best, I won’t be returning.
Always a favorite of ours! Server was excellent, all recommendations were a hit
Great drink options, and tried a few specials- gnocchi was very good! Had favorite- roasted chicken, and braised beef- delicious!
Thanks for a consistent great meal!
Great all around. Our favorite in STL!
Popped in for a quick nosh between work and another engagement. Thoroughly enjoyed the liver pâté and the Bibb lettuce salad which paired delightfully with the Sauvignon Blanc. The service was sterling, and the atmosphere is lovely. Will be back!
Food was not great - no seasoning for appetizers, the salad was bland; entree was too salty
The waiter was extremely nice and kind. He would try to accommodate us as much as possible. My reservation didn't get changed how I had wanted due to a website error but the front of house easily fixed it and was able to seat us at the appropriate time. But then there was the food. The Tar Tar was fairly oxidized and had barely any life or pink color to it anymore. But the flavors were all there. My biggest issue had come with the steak. Being served a 4 ounce steak with the small steak and shake fries that had no Seasoning was not my idea of "fine dining" I could have made that at home for less than 9 dollars. Let alone pay 26 for it. The bill had collectively come to 100 dollars. Which I thought was not appropriate to the portions and quality of food that was the served. The Wine and Cider were really good though. The ombience was nice and overall feel of the resturaunt was good. But the food did not live to that expectation that had been set. But it is very abvious that everything there is made from scratch with various traditional French culinary techniques being executed
I cannot even begin to describe how perfect this restaurant was for me and my husband’s first anniversary dinner. Our waiter was very helpful and very friendly. We got our food quickly and it tasted incredible! There was nothing that could have made the evening more perfect. Please visit Brasserie by Niche!!
Used to be my favorite place to eat. Went last weekend and was a major let down. Food had little to no taste. It used to be so flavorful and it was just meh this time. The waiter was not great. Service has slipped.
Every bite was fantastic! Attentive service.
Good food and good atmosphere
Great food and service!
What a nice experience!
Our server was attentive, the ambience was food was delicious. We had burgers and pomme frites - I’m so glad we chose that. It was elevated to the next level. The wine was wonderful. The choice of music was perfect, it felt like I was in a bistro in Paris again!
Everyone seemed so happy to be dining out on a beautiful Friday evening.
If you visiting St. Louis definitely take the time to dine at Brasserie, the food is delicious. Do not miss the opportunity to mark your visit with o St Louis with a very pleasant memory.
Fantastic dinner. We sat outside in the covered tent. It was a cold night and they had good warmers. The service and food were really good!
Covid vaccine celebration dinner! Absolutely comfortable experience, following CDC guidelines for social distancing, masks, and disinfecting. Delicious food, gracious staff, perfect evening!
The food, wine and atmosphere were as wonderful as we remembered from pre-COVID days. Our server was attentive but not hovering. The restaurant was set up for social distancing, which made us very comfortable. We had a wonderful experience.
