    Brasserie was a great place for me and my boyfriend's anniversary dinner! Super romantic and came with complementary bubbles and a complementary dessert! Steak tartare was ok, needed more salt in my opinion and tasted like it might have been pre made. Loved the Monday special (the chicken coq au vin with egg noodles) and the fresh bread and butter! Boyfriend got the braised beef and loved it. All in all a great experience :)))

    As usual, Sunday brunch at the Brasserie by Niche was lovely this week. I went back to my previous fave, the eggs benedict, and the dish was perfect - the eggs were nice and runny, the sauce (Mornay at my request, since I'm not a fan of Dijon, which is their standard sauce for this dish) was pleasant and smooth, the side potatoes were slightly crunchy on the outside and perfectly textured on the inside. And as always, the service was great - attentive without being intrusive. The Brasserie by Niche makes me feel like a cross between a celebrity and a member of the family.

    Food and service is always simply outstanding. The patio is so so gorgeous on a September evening! Jennifer was very attentive and knowledgeable. The trout was phenomenal and I’ll be dreaming about the mango mint sorbet. Had such a lovely dinner with my brother for his first time at Brasserie! Will definitely be back.

    My husband and I come here every year for our wedding anniversary and each year this place does not disappoint. The atmosphere, the food, the service, all par excellent. I have tried various dishes and have never been disappointed, although I love their pomme frites and chocolate mousse the most.

    It was a beautiful late summer/early autumn night in September and we were able to eat outdoors. Felt almost like a real French Bistro. Great food, great service, great wine.

    Lovely traditional French brassiere with great staff. The steak tartar was a little bland, but the olive appetizer and French onion soup were very good. Our waitress was very attentive, and the chocolate mousse for desert was truly outstanding. A little pricey for the quality of food, but overall great spot for relaxed French dining.

    We sat on the patio since the weather was perfect. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals and our server, Zach, was friendly and attentive. We have moved out of town but will continue to visit when we travel back to STL.

    It was an anniversary and birthday brunch. Cathy was a great server! We usually have eggs en cocotte but both tried different entrees which were also very good. So glad beignets are back to what they used to be like! Thanks for a nice start to a special day.

    Ambiance was great, sat outside, staff was friendly, drinks and dessert was great. Appetizer escargot great, one of the entrees steak was a little over cooked and the duck confit was good.

    It's always a treat to indulge in a meal at the Brasserie by Niche. The food is prepared and presented to perfection, and always delicious. This was my first time having dinner here rather than my usual Sunday brunch, and I enjoyed every bit of the French onion soup, mussels entree, and custard-plus dessert. So creative! As always, the staff were wonderful - attentive without being pushy. So glad the Brasserie by Niche is so geographically handy and reliably excellent.

    It was extremely loud- the only negative we could think of. We were seated by the front windows and were able to talk to each other without hearing what other tables were saying, which was good, but we were glad to not be seated in the middle of the room where we believe it would have been hard to hear each other. Might not be an issue on a normal dining out, but this was our anniversary, so I guess my wife wanted to be able to hear what I said to her (which, if you’re married, you know is a big deal! Haha).

    Great atmosphere. We were on the open air patio and everything was perfect. The beef was fall apart tender with rich layers of flavor and the chicken was flavorful and far from ordinary. If there were some complaint it would be that there are too many drink options. Not a bad thing at all!

    Everything was wonderful. My husband had the steak frites with a bearnaise sauce that was perfect. And I will dream about the delicious roast chicken with mushrooms and bread. It was all delicious.

    My wife and I celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary at Brasserie last night. From the welcome at the from of the house by the hostess to the fantastic service by our waitor to the amzing food, it was fantatstic. I would highly recommend Brasserie to anyone who wants to celebrate a special occassion, or even have a nice dinner out on an ordinary Wednesday night.

    "A left bank bistro in St Louis" Perfect in almost every respect. The only "bemol" is the noise level (I actually enjoy being able to hear what my dinner companions are saying...) It gets better after 8pm when it is no longer full. From now on, I'll book my table later in the evening. The service is flawless, the food great (and genuine), the bread and butter a nice touch, the wines little gems unknown outside the Hexagon. A little pricy, but worth every penny. Cheaper than a plane ticket to Paris, that's for sure...

    Gerard Craft does French better than anyone in this town. Everything was spot on with full balanced flavor and depth. Favorites is the escargot and Trout in a brown butter sauce.

    I love the vibe at Brasserie by Niche and I love the food! I had a delicious Eggs Benedict with perfectly seasoned breakfast potatoes, my son had the French Toast which was incredible and our friend had the burger. We started off with beignets that were light and warm and just perfect. And we were in a bit of a time crunch because of a last-minute appointment and our server made sure we weren't late. Valet parking is nice as well since parking in the CWE is tricky. Brasserie is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. We will definitely be back!!

    Back to regular serving sizes which is great. After giving up last year we have had two great experiences and will be regular again. I’ll always miss our old times at Taste but Brasserie will go back to an additional favorite.

    Wonderful meals all around. Frisée Salade was perfect. I had the Braised Beef which was delicious and the 3 others had the Bistro Steak Medium Rare with pommes frites simply exquisite. Completed the meal with Profiteroles and the Blueberry Mango Dacquiose both big winners. Jennifer, our waitress, was a Rockstar…….thoughtful, knowledgeable and a great personality.
