Best fried green tomato sandwich I have ever had! Stopped over in Easton on a work trip, and so glad I did. Great ambience & friendly service. I'll be back.
Limited selection on menu and seating was very close. There were just two of us and we were seated at a row of tables that were so close together that we felt like we were having dinner with two other couples. But the food and wine selection were very good. Hi

We have been here twice and it was delicious both times! The specials on the menu are great and the space is very welcoming and inviting. Perfect for any occasion. I really would like to check it out in the summer because they have a large outdoor seating area and bar.
Loved our meal here on the 27th of December! The food was great and I have to say, the shrimp and grits was FABULOUS. Not just because it tasted super but also because there were at least 7 or 8 shrimp. In a lot of restaurants you order shrimp and grits and you gets three or four shrimp...this was a yummy filling meal. I was really happy with my choice! My husband had the trout and loved it!
And our waitress Fallon is always my favorite! She is a real gem and I was so excited that she was there to help us celebrate! She's the best!

We had an excellent dining experience on a busy Friday evening at Brasserie Brightwell. The new fall menu is fantastic! I opted for the special - butternut squash soup as an app and was very happy with my choice. My wife had the chicken liver salad which was delicious and enough to share. She then opted for the Vietnamese Pho Style Mussels - the mussels at Brasserie are always great. I again chose from the specials menu and went for the interesting surf and turf combo of some perfectly prepared scallops that melted in your mouth, along with a nice cut of pork. The best part about the meal, however, may have been the green beans. I am not sure what Chef Brendan did to those beans, but they were the best I have ever tasted.
We had the special of the night, Cuban ropa viejo..stewed beef with great spices, black beans and rice and plantain.
It's our "go to" place when we go to the Avalon theater, an easy few block walk.
It was a lovely afternoon, most patrons were sitting outside, so we had the inside all to ourselves. It was like having lunch in a friends kitchen. Our waitress was attentive and did not rush us , she realized we were having a "ladies lunch". Food was very good. Will definitely go back again

Fruit fly destroyed my drink and nerve replaced another one, food is too salty, meat over cooked and burned and finally the check was incorrectly charged. Very bad experience.
Consistently terrific! A recent dinner for 4 was perhaps our 15th dinner there over the past year or so, and we've never had a bad experience. From the warm delicious French bread to start, to the good salads and great entrees (we've tried everything from the salmon to the great burgers), we've always found the food to be delicious and served hot. The crispy Brussels sprouts are amazing. We rarely have room for dessert. (My only complaint - sometimes during Saturday nights in the summer it can get noisy (tile floors, nothing to absorb sound) and I don't particularly like the bands that sometimes perform there. But I recognize that others like it.)
Food and service were impeccable. The space is cosy and inviting. We had a great time celebrating an anniversary. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Food was very good. Setting is charming. Noise level was high. Service was slow and not particularly attentive.
Living in the area, we have been coming to Brasserie ever since it opened. It was fresh and the menu was limited but every item was a much needed improvement over local cuisine. Over the past 3-4 years, the quality of the food has gone down but the prices have risen. Unfortunately, the restaurant has taken a winner and steadily progressed downward. I used to recommend tourists (we live in Oxford) to Brasserie but will no longer do so. The burger used to be good if you wanted something light.... no longer. The trout was always good but it has gotten smaller and now is usually served dry. Mussels are still good but recently, the fries have been tasty but soggy and greasy. Simply put, if you want to sit outside and have a drink, it is great but the food, even with a new menu, is far from exceptional. It just misses on so many fronts. I hope the management takes a closer look at what is happening. Most of us are willing to support a mid to higher end restaurant if the food is balanced against the price. That is no longer the case. It would not take much to improve. Attention to menu detail, higher quality product and waitstaff that were familiar with the menu, dining etiquette (no pre bussing) and a better (not bigger) selection of menu items that reflect a variety of tastes and textures. They need to be the differentiated restaurant they once were.
For starters the location was adorable and the outside seating was perfect. The waitress was knowledge on all menu items and had such a warm personality. The food was beyond amazing. From the appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious. We were more than impressed.
Hadn't been in several years and was glad we came back - we took our nephew and he loved the burger. The muscles were pretty good - not outstanding, but perfectly fine. Nice evening all around.

It's been over a year since I've been at Brasserie Brightwell, and the restaurant has gone seriously downhill. Despite the fact that we had a reservation, the hostess didn't seem particularly interested in helping us. Once we were seated, the food disappointed. The oysters came without the mignonette, and when we asked, there were neither crackers to accompany the oysters nor bread for the mussels. The market salad was bland. I used to look forward to going to the brasserie when I visited Easton, but I'll need to find another restaurant to patronize now.
A true brasserie menu...mussels, steak, frites and a raw bar...all delicious.

This was a pleasant surprise. The mussels were excellent and a sizable portion. The service was very friendly and prompt without rushing us at all. The pecan bread pudding was recommended by our server - home run and plenty for two. The cafe latte is very nice. We will return on our next trip to Easton.

We visited Easton for the first time the weekend of July 14-16, 2017. I made a reservation at Brasserie Brightwell based on OpenTable reviews and we were not disappointed! The restaurant has a great space, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive (in a good way), and the food was excellent. Additionally, we came as a group of four adults and a toddler and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had a nice meal. We will definitely come back!
Nice feel to the place. Service was average. Considerably quiet for a Saturday night. Salmon was under cooked and made guest sick within hours. Lamb sliders were almost raw in the middle and didn't taste like lamb at all. Chicken sandwich was average. Shrimp were smothered in lemon. Steak was good. Good fries also. Price would be good if the food was cooked properly by a real chef. We selected this place based on good reviews. Disappointed to say the least and will not be going back.
