The chefs have many years' worth of experience and carefully prepare each entree to perfect to help create a memorable experience for guests. The upscale atmosphere makes Brasserie Brandman an ideal place to relax with friends and family while enjoying the finer things in life. Reservations are encouraged, but never required. Those dining at Brasserie Brandman have plenty of delicious entrees to choose from. You can order things such as salmon, a house special salad, exquisite steaks or spicy tuna crispy rice. For beverages, there are both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available to complement a meal, as well as an array of excellent desserts to top off the night.

                                                                            We have eaten there a number of times on slow nights which is probably why it was much better. The online did not indicate that there was going to be a prefix menu however I am not surprised. What did surprise the cost was $75 price for items like chicken and salmon. Not even a salad included. The staff was friendly and the owner did come around and ask if everything was fine but did not make eye contact so he really did not care. I know he has operated hotels before but needs to treat everyone like they are visiting his home since most of the clients in that area are repeat. My steak was burn on the outside and rare on the inside. Usually its very good there, chef must have been off that night.

                                                                            Visited Brasserie Brandman over Valentine's weekend, they were offering a fixed menu of starter and entree for $75. Unfortunately, it was with only minor adjustments to their regular menu at about 50% price increase. Then the meal was completely underwhelming. Lobster bisque needed salt, shrimp lacked flavor, and filet came out medium well instead of medium rare. My wife's was a similar story. One and done visit for this place.

                                                                            What else is there to say? The wait staff was attentive but not overbearing, the ambiance was very upscale and romantic, the music was at just the perfect volume where it was not too loud by not too soft and the choice of music was perfect, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. The best two steaks I have ever tasted came from this restaurant.

                                                                            My wife and I went to Brasseria Brandman for a special date. Service was outstanding. I loved the ambiance (located in older home). Food was tasty, but really overpriced.

                                                                            One table of 6 must have thought they were in one of their homes, loud, obnoxiously so, ruined the atmosphere. Luckily it was towards the end of our meal.

                                                                            Cancelled reservation due to snow storm on 1/23/2016 and rescheduled for February 20th. I have been to this restaurant on previous occasions and the food is excellent. The homemade biscuits with homemade butter are awesome.

                                                                            Food was fantastic, my salmon main course was cooked to perfection. Cocktails were tasty and strong, well worth their price. Chocolate mousse dessert was rich and decadent, a perfect ending to our dinner. I'd dine here again just to taste the rest of the menu.

                                                                            This has become one of my new favorite restaurants ... in my neighborhood. The food is VERY good ... with some unusual twists to otherwise ordinary food. They recently stopped serving lunch, which is a disappointment. I wish they would re-open for at least Fridays!

                                                                            So glad that Bergen County has a really good restaurant where Valentino's used to be. We were graciously welcomed and served in the totally redecorated dining room. The food was delicious. I had steak which was cooked to perfection and so flavorful. Friends had chicken and short ribs. They raved as well. We were very satisfied. Will definitely return.
