Chef/Owner Robert Wiedmaier of Marcel's opens a casual, contemporary brasserie named after his younger son. The stunning space features an open steel and glass kitchen visible from three sides, set across from a unique family-style chef's table, dramatic 22-foot ceilings and a raw bar located at the end of a grand marble and walnut bar featuring an array of Belgian beers on tap to complement his French Belgian fare. Brasserie Beck offers two private dining rooms, the Brabo and Waterloo. Both private spaces accommodate 32 seated/35 reception style. Combined the space can accommodate 64 seated/85 cocktail reception. Beck's Chef's Table seats 10. Restaurant buyouts 200 seated/450 reception also available.

Very enjoyable meal. Service was attentive and pleasant. Of course, that said, we did show up on a Monday Holiday evening (MLK) on one of the coldest days of the season. Staff was obviously pleased to see us. Seeing how much (empty) seating they had, including a large outdoor space (unused) I can imagine that might be different on some other day in some other season. But we had a very nice experience for our efforts to come out in the cold.

My girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary. I on a whim noted this on the OpenTable reservation. There was champagne waiting at our table and they brought us a special desert with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate. Adam, the GM, was incredibly personable and has earned a repeat customer. Their beer list is remarkable as well!

Went for brunch. Service was good. It was a bit empty and quiet. Needed a little more activity. Food was decent. Nothing exceptional, so a bit disappointed.

Food was excellent especially on a cold December night. The service was annoying. I don't think the staff had enough to do. The were clearing plates before everyone at the table was finished. Put down a fork or glass, they were there grabbing plates up. Too much hovering . Let us eat in peace! Be attentive but not intrusive.

We mentioned in the Open Table reservation that we were 2 couples each celebrating our 48th anniversary. We also mentioned it to the hostess upon entering the restaurantas well as our waiter when he took the order. All seemed indifferent. No one ever acknowledged that fact. We turned down dessert only to find after speaking with the maitre d' that they had planned to give us complimentary desserts. Neither he, nor the hostess, nor the waiter ever told us that!
The food was also not up to usual standards. The sauce for the mussels as well as the fries were way too salty...

We had the raw oysters and they were delicious. I also had the mussels with the spicy Thai curry sauce, which was too salty and didn't taste like it had much coconut milk. The frites were perfect - crispy and nicely seasoned. I just think the food is not worth the price.
