   We've visited the Brasserie on many occasions and its always been our favourite restaurant. We haven't been for a while but unfortunately we wasn't too keen on the change of menu & personally struggled to find something to order for our main course. In the end I chose Pizza which wasn't really what I wanted as I don't see this as a treat. My husband only really fancied steak which at £18 without any sides was quite expensive.

   A really nice place to eat. The staff are very good as is the food. Will always think of the Brasserie first when we are dining in Halifax.

   The food was ok but the service was very slow - we waited 40 mins for the starters and then another long wait for main and dessert

   We were in Halifax for a gig at the Victoria and would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a meal which is well-cooked, interesting and good value. We had excellent service from our waitress (Jessi (?) and the host. Very good.

   However had to wait a while for the main course to come, and the restaurant was not really busy but I guess thats because they were cooking a steak for us. Staff very friendly and polite

   Although the restaurant was quiet as it was a Monday we really enjoyed the evening. The food was really good and the staff lovely and friendly. Quick service. Thank you. Will visit agsin

   Had the set menu - excellent value for money and even better the food was oustanding

   Lovely venue, I've been several times now though it was one friends first visit and she was impressed as we were and always have been but tonight, WOW the food was ama-ZING! Could have easily eaten it all over again. Nice atmosphere, very busy so not especially romantic but as it was a girlie evening that didn't bother us. Wouldn't want to be there Valentine's Day though, can imagine it is heaving and noisy. Staff were fab, couldn't fault the service. Will be coming again for sure and would definately recommend to people.

    ate here with my grandma, husband and 2 year old! they really made an effort with presentation and service was very good; very tolerant re little one. would go again
