For us, it’s about savouring long lunches with friends, feasting with family or celebrating the love of a lifetime over a tipple or two.                                           Staff all very friendly and we were served quickly after being seated. The starters were ok - cod cheeks with a curry sauce (sauce overpowering but tasted nice), beetroot cured salmon was quite dull and tasteless Main course of steak delicious but at £32 I expected better than oven chips and green beans, some new potatoes and vegetables would have been much better Dessert - husband had the coffee parfait and had to return it, it had a nasty bitter taste and awful texture, the biscuits served with this were Inedible and like rock My gingerbread panna cotta was very disappointing, not soft enough, lacking in flavour and the “sea salt tuille” was literally just melted sugar no and like glass My husband was offered a different dessert so chose the sticky toffee and enjoyed this although it took a long while to come and was forgotten about as we had to ask twice To be fair they didn’t charge for the dessert

                                          A lovely meal at raithwaite hall. Food is quite pricey but expected at somewhere so lovely . A treat yourself place . Service was very good very friendly staff and lovely surroundings

                                          Had a lovely table, good service and excellent food. Drinks were forthcoming incredibly quickly. Overall a perfect evening.

                                          Really nice locally sourced food. Even nettles stewed from their own garden Had the soft shell crab followed by chicken and then the most immense dessert
