Brandywine Prime Ratings and Reviews
I've been to Brandywine Prime for their delicious steak, this was my first time trying their Sunday Brunch. The brunch was outstanding. It was part made to order and part buffet. The price was extremely reasonable for all that you got, you could visit the buffet as often as you wished.
Buffet had several types of salad, meats/cheeses/fruit, seafood, soup of the day, and desserts. Something for everyone.
Our waiter was excellent; I'd have given him 6 stars if I could. He made the experience that much more enjoyable.
I was hoping for more. I didn’t get a welcome feeling from the gentleman who greeted me at he door. I asked about my reservation and got the cold shoulder. Food was good, not great. Appetizers were the best part of the meal. For about $60 per entree, I was not impressed. I’ll come back for bar food, but not a dinner.
We come here 3-4 times a year. A little on the pricey side so we can’t afford to go all the time but the food is absolutely wonderful. The only place I know I will get my steak cooked the way I want so the price is absolutely worth it. We were celebrating our friends expecting a child and it was there first time there. Our friend is a chef and was blown away by the meal he got. Thanks for always giving us a wonderful dining experience. We will continue to enjoy our special occasions there.
Happy hour had good food and drink options which gave us time to kill prior to our dinner reservation. There is a very reasonable corkage fee which allowed us to bring our own bottle of wine for dinner. Excellent steaks for my girlfriend and I with perfectly sized side portions. Overall great night out and the food lived up to the hype of others I spoke to prior to visiting.
Valentines Dinner for two. From the time we entered the restaurant til the time we left it was a great experience. The food was fabulous and the waiter was very attentive. We were big fans of the ambiance and the flow of everything from the seating to the lighting! What a treat. We will definitely return for dinner for another special occasion or just because! Thanks for making Valentines a great one! Highly recommend! #CremeBrulee #Vino #Steak #Fish #Crab #Ambiance #Wow
I had made reservations in advance and asked for 6:00. Told that5:15 was the only time available. We dined in a room which throughout our dinner was 75% empty. Not sure why couldn’t have been accommodated at around 6:00 PM. With that said not only was it Valentine’s Day but also my wife’s birthday. It was mentioned but unlike the past no Birthday dessert was offered. A bit disappointing but I guess they didn’t feel it necessary to acknowledge her special day
This was an excellent meal for Valentines Day. The steaks were delicious- my wife had the prime strip steak and I had the prime fillet. The char and seasonings were perfect. Came with green beans. The grilled romaine salad was okay, the Brussel sprouts excellent according to my wife who eats them. The glass of Cabernet was great. Octopus app was fantastic. Service was a joke - the female server took the order and disappeared. Had to track her down to get the side of sprouts and she acted put upon. A joke for what BP tries to be - top notch steak with equal service.
Brandywine Prime is 5 star all the way. Had dinner upstairs, nice and quiet. French onion soup oh so fantastic and I've had many. Filet and ribeye both perfect as well as twice baked potato. Dessert not to be missed either. Fine service from Carmine for a finishing touch to a perfect pre valentines dinner. Not to be missed, a magical restaurant that ticks all your boxes!!
I am never disappointed with my meals at BP and the wait staff are always attentive and extremely knowledgeable. We ordered the spinach salad which was excellent. Unfortunately BP was out of swordfish so I ordered the ravioli, which were very light and had a tasty blush sauce.
Definitely the place to go for excellent cuts of beef! We enjoyed the filet and the barrel cut rib eye. Both were juicy, tasty and prepared very well. I also recommend the grilled romaine salad - just the right amount of char for a distinct flavor - and the portabella mushroom with four cheese spinach au gratin side dish. The warm pecan tart with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was a wonderful treat to complete our meal.
Seated on time for a 7:30pm reservation. Server was nice but slow. Bread was delicious The lobster bisque (soup of the day) had at most a faint hint of lobster. Steaks were cooked appropriately but the baked potatoes were underdone. We had been finished our meal for quite a period of time before our server offered dessert or our check. A good steak for the area but not worth the price or a second visit.
Brandywine Prime is an excellent steakhouse located somewhat off the beaten path in Chaddsford, PA. The steaks are well prepared, and the sides are delicious as well. I had the truffle potatos au gratin (delish) and the portobella mushroom with spinach was yummy. It is a bit on the expensive side, but if you are looking for quality over quantity, look no further. The wine list is exceptional, the room is cozy yet modern, and it's not a chain! Yay! I highly recommend it. The cuisine is terrific.
What an enjoyable Sunday Brunch. My wife and I celebrated our 34th “1st date” anniversary. Great excuse to go to brunch. The combination buffet and personal meal was wonderful. My wife enjoyed the Bloody Mary and its home made formula including the perfect tang of Worcestershire sauce and horse radish. I enjoyed the salmon, shrimp and prosciutto from the buffet table.
Our meals of Eggs Benedict and egg, feta cheese and spinach omelette could not have been more delicious. A final ramekin of creme brûlée set us on our way fully sated.
Did I mention our waiter, Michael, who could not have been more charming and attentive.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal with friends at Brandywine Prime. The food was delicious and the portions sizes were very ample. Our entrees of braised short ribs and pork chop were perfectly cooked. The $6/bottle corkage fee allowed us to bring special bottles from our personal wine cellars. Our server was pleasant and well informed about the menu and specific ingredients. This was definitely worth the 30+ minute drive each of us made to dine here.
Brandywine Prime had very good service and a lovely, cozy atmosphere. Despite the extreme cold outside, the building was very warm and inviting. The back room was relatively quiet once the large table behind us (including children and noisy grandparents) left. Service was attentive until the very end (dessert/check time, then we sat awhile). As soon as the appetizers came, I reached for the salt and pepper - in general I found the entire meal under-seasoned, the steak especially. The buffalo carpaccio was trendy, though the portion of meat was very small. I didn't quite care for the shallot jam - it gave the whole dish a rather sweet finish and could have used more bite with the pecorino cheese. Personally I prefer the more Italian and traditional preparation. The buffalo meat was mild and delicious, but would not order again. The entree steaks were beautiful cuts of meat, though completely unseasoned. Thankfully I ordered one with blue cheese, or it would've been too bland for me. Beautiful bone-in NY Strip cooked perfectly. However, the side green beans were cold and additional sides we ordered (gratin potatoes, mushrooms) came without serving spoons. The majority of the desserts contained booze, which didn't suit for one of our family members in AA - which was a little disheartening; he ended up with ice cream... I was rather disappointed given the price, and will recommend we stick to Harry's Savoy or Sullivan's. Sorry Brandywine.
We had an excellent meal on New Years Eve. the steaks and appetizers were very tasty and our waiter was superb. He knows just about everything there is to know about good steaks. He was both knowledgeable and entertaining. We have never had anything less than an excellent time and meal at Brandywine Prime.
