The food was excellent and the service was amazing. Stephanie was our server, and when I questioned 2 different wines, immediately suggested that she bring samples of each. Appetizers of the mushroom tart and oysters were delicious. Our prime steaks - a filet mignon and a ribeye were superb. I highly recommend this restaurant and next time we are in the area again, we’ll be back!

Brandywine Prime is the perfect place for a celestial and for just an evening out alike. The menu is solid and all dishes are fantastic. Eating out this time allowed me to test some dishes that are not my go-to choices and I was not disappointed. Steak is cooked perfectly, pasta dishes are wonderful, and the seafood is top notch. There are no bad choices here. The drink menu is also stellar…

Overpriced, $79 prime rib was very tough, I couldn't even finish it. The romaine salad was a joke, two heads of romaine on a plate with dressing. I will say the fish dishes were great, this is my second time being disappointed by the meat dish. I will not be back.

I really wanted to love this restaurant….but it was just a letdown …not totally but it certainly deserve the $290 without tip total. The drinks were phenomenal. The oysters and especially the shrimp were beyond compare. However the special Wagyu 10 is strip steak at $95 was a disappointment - not tender and buttery but had gristle and did not warrant the high price tag. In fairness, my husband ordered this and he said “it was favorful” but considering the price, not phenomenal. I had the special grouper - very dry despite the chorizo tomato sauce (tasty but not enough to offset the overdone grouper). The waiter, although nice enough, was totally clueless on the menu items and just did not seem to care. The restaurant did give us a token mini crème brûlée to share with a chocolate Happy Anniversaru written on the p,ate - much appreciated. I must say I would return for drinks and raw bar apps - outstanding…but would have to think twice about anything else…. Btw - the place itself was beautiful. Ambience - nice - we had a booth in the dining room early on Thursday night and there were only 2 or 3 tables seated by 6 when we left….

This was our first time dining at Brandywine Prime and we chose it for a special occasion. We had exemplary service from Arturo. All food was expertly prepared. Pricey? Yes. But I totally expected that and have no regrets whatsoever. The only thing I can quibble about is the options for sides. You can get numerous preparations of potatoes, but if you’re looking for a simply prepared green vegetable, it isn’t there. The three green options are either fried or have heavy fat content. A steak dinner is going to be substantial, and the accompanying green beans are helpful, but I was looking for an additional vegetable to lighten it up more. Regardless, we had a wonderful first experience and I would definitely recommend it.

Wow! Another great experience at Brandywine Prime. The filet was excellent and my wife really enjoyed her king salmon. After dinner we sat at the bar and sampled a few of the signature drinks which were incredible. The bartender was fantastic and seemed to really enjoy his work.

Brandywine Prime has a cozy yet elegant atmosphere with friendly staff. Everyone appeared to be helping one another and happy with their work environment. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely kind. Our waitress, Janine, took excellent care of us and even got to know us some! She encouraged us to let her capture date night by taking a photo for us. She was attentive and fun. The upstairs dining was quiet and perfect for conversation. The food was outstanding. The steak was cooked perfectly and the short ribs were plate cleaning delicious. We wish we’d had more shrimp spring rolls and leftover to bring home. They are confident in what they serve. I was impressed that Janine checked in with us about having what we needed, though never needed to ask if everything was done well. The confidence is well earned! Thank you for an exceptional experience. We will be back and have already recommended Brandywine Prime to family in the area!

As a single diner, I was ignored completely for some time-not even water. Even once I put in my order, service was very slow although there were only a few people there. The $40 special was frankly awful, little food, great amounts of gluey sauce and coating. I sprang for dessert so as not to go back to the hotel hungry, and they forgot to bring it. It seems the staff caters almost exclusively to people they know. I used to eat here in the old days. Won’t come back.

As others commented, the filets were bland, no seasoning at all. We've had much better steaks at other restaurants for less. The side dishes were equally unimpressive. The restaurant itself was very loud. For a higher end restaurant, you expect to have a more pleasurable experience. We had a reservation, but were still seated at a postage-stamp size table right next to a group of four. The group next to us, the group behind us were extremely loud as well. We couldn't even carry on a conversation between the two of us. For the price of the meals, it was a very disappointing experience. We won't be going back.

We had a great dinner at Brandywine Prime. My wife and I along with her brother and his wife enjoyed a fantastic dinner experience. My wife had the filet mignon, I had the 18 ounce ribeye, my brother in law had the scallops and his wife had the seafood ravioli. Each of us enjoyed our meal immensely. Our waiter was very attentive without being intrusive. I would highly recommend Brandywine Prime as a very good dining experience.
