This is my new go-to place! The setting is beautiful, the service is outstanding. The food is remarkable. Thai shrimp is fabuloso! Pot Stickers are wonderful. Do order the soufflé for the table.

It was a terrible experience and it was Mother’s Day. Our waiter Vincent did not approach our table. We finally got water when we finished our dinner. The food was great but honestly will never go back and I would recommend anyone to save themselves from that experience and look for another place to eat. The only one that cared about the situation was our hostess not even the management. Disappointing.

We were seated an hour after our reservation time. Expectations were high that the food would be good - it was nothing exceptional. Overall - a disappointment...
We made a reservation for 7:30. Upon arriving i waited my turn to speak to the hostess since multiple people were waiting. When i got to the hostess stand at 7:40 the hostess said right now they are behind and we couldnt be seated until 8:15 she also said that i was late for my reservation. I was late for my reservation because i was waiting my turn and did that need to be said since you werent seating me until 8:15 anyway. The few times we have been there the service is awful. They make it seem like they dont want or need your business. After being spoken to like that by the hostess and being told my reservation pretty much didnt even matter we went to Clementines in Avon and had a wonderful meal and the service was great! Dont waste your money at Brandls the food is not worth the snotty service
Despite reservations, they were running 1hr behind. Good was great and service team worked very hard.
We had a 7:15 reservation. We were told it would be 20 minutes but after 1 1/2 hours without being seated and told over and over that we were next, we left. Unfortunately we had previously enjoyed the food, service ambiance and looked forward to returning to the newly revamped restaurant. I do understand that they are short staffed but if we were told the truth from the beginning, we could have planned accordingly.
Food great. Service from hostess to servers and managers rude. They just didn’t care about our experience and made that obvious. Thank goodness food decent. Won’t be returning.
Food was great, apps & entrees arrived with 35 mins of sitting down. The restaurant did jam up around 7pm and most likely was Over booked. Wait staff was swamped, never asked if we wanted coffee and had to remind the waiter we had ordered desert. The soup and salad were amazing. The steaks had an unpleasant smoke taste we did not care for and the sides were ok. We brought our steaks how to our fur babies. The soufflé was ordinary but good. Service and atmosphere were excellent, we will return but for soup, salad and appetizers not entrees. Was a bit of a disappointment for over $200 dinner for 2 people.
Came here on a rainy Cinco de Mayo for our anniversary dinner. It was not crowded which allowed us to feel safe inside as well as for us to truly appreciate attentive service. I had the Thai Coconut Shrimp (yum) and my husband ordered the scallops. Both were delicious! Yes, we indulged in the soufflé which many had told us about. It was quite decadent and we could have probably used two more people to share it with. It was our first visit here and surely we’ll be back. The inside has a nice upbeat vibe. There is an enclosed porch and a nice outside area as well, so lots of seating options. BYOB makes the higher prices more manageable.
We enjoy going to Brandls as it's a local restaurant, food is consistently good and the service is excellent. We prefer to dine early and sit on their covered patio. We find their Early Bird Menu offers a diverse selection of week after week and a choice of one of three appetizers and entrees is adequate. We tried the barbecu ribs with Thai soy sauce that we tender and succulent and potstickers filled with lobster and corn. Entrees were chicken Milanese (two large cutlets) that we crisp and moist topped with arugula salad and a delightful dressing. The other entree was Gnocchi Bolognese, excellent. We both enjoyed fresh from the fryer hot donuts with chocolate sauce. These haven't been on the dessert menu in awhile. Always appealing, diverse menu for all diets and excellent food and presentation.
We had the Blackened Salmon and the Gnocchi Bolognese. The food, as usual, was exceptional. Nice presentation and portions. The Brandl crew, Vincent, Arturo, and Paul were great; attentive and personable! They helped to make our visit so very enjoyable. Looking forward to our next visit!!!

- They way overbook, 40 min wait outside (cold) after arriving at reservation time
- Understaffed, kind and polite server but work load led to oversights
- Grundgy but cool setup, bathrooms very clean
- excellent porterhouse steak but unevenly cooked, mushroom soup excellent, lobster bisque watery and at room temp but excellent taste. Spinach side excellent but just a mouthful.
- at$230 (including tip) for two you can certainly do better BUT in a pinch great place to get a solid steak.
This is the first time that I’ve eaten at the establishment. The food is very good but the service is subpar. Trying to check in for our table was extremely difficult and the Manager that was handling this was extremely rude and gave the attitude that he really didn’t care. Once we sat at our table, we were rushed to put in our order. After having done that, once our food arrived, we were rushed to finish. I believe the owner needs to overhaul his employees so that they better serve the patrons. The Manager should either be replaced or taught how to deal with the public.
Unusually warm weather made this outdoor dinner very enjoyable and comfortable. Good food and pleasant waitstaff/employees made my first eating out experience since March 2020 almost totally relaxing. Enjoying a gift of wine from friends helped in celebrating my husband’s birthday complete.

First real meal out after getting fully vaccinated, but I didn't want to sit inside. It was cool outside, but the outdoor seating area was great. Food exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed and will be back.
This restaurant doesn’t understand what reservations mean. I was told I would have to wait at least 30 mins for my reservation. The host was incredibly indifferent. There are so many other choices.

Poor social distancing. Food OK but not as good as in the past. Pricey for a BYOB.
With the warm weather, returned for outdoor dining. Went for their early dinner special. As always, Vincent made us feel very welcome. The food was very good as always.

Too crowded and close for COVID-19. Understaffed but servers working hard. Food outstanding. Price too high for casual atmosphere, especially as a BYO.
