In 1889, Queen Margherita of Savoy visited Naples. In honor of the Queen, Chef Raffaele Esposito and his wife created a pizza resembling the Italian flag and its colors; red (tomato), white (mozzarella) and green (basil). Later that same year, Queen Margherita penned a letter identifying Brandi Pizzeria as the originator of the Margherita Pizza.

Great pizza, great chicken parm. Great seafood. Service was attentive and prices reasonable.
Nice time had by all. Enjoyed the food as well as the service would definitely return.
Our waiter was OUTSTANDING and got everything correct.
Salad was overdressed. Pizza was delicious. Pasta was drowning in ragu. Service was trying too hard. If you are going to go, stick with pizza and drinks. Keep it simple and it is good.
I don't like this restaurant, because I felt that they treated us very unfairly. One of most uncomfortable experience recently.
Lovely food and lovely ambiance. The waitstaff is attentive.
Excellent menu....hard to choose especially with the offered specials. Pizzas are the real thing... true Napolitano pizza amazing crust...asta perfectly Al dente.....
Fabulous food. Great service. Wonderful addition to Port Chester.
Good pizzas. Service was a little slow but the pleasant server and manager make up for it.
We were a party of four and each one of us was impressed with the quality of the meal. The menu is varied and all of our choices were tasty. The wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. The restaurant is comfortable and quiet enough to allow for conversation. We intend to return. Brandi is a great addition for the Rye, Port Chester, Greenwich area.
The service was so slow, by the time we received our dinner, it was cold. Mgr replaced our meal and this time it was hot and tasty.
Food was good, but would not rush to go back to this restaurant. Hopefully they will hire more help or they will be out of business in no time.
Very disappointed in the pizza. Very soggy. Waiter was pleasant but appeared overwhelmed We had ordered a pie as an appetizer but it was served with our entrees. Had to send entrees back. Never asked if we wanted a second drink. Never asked if we enjoyed our food. Never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. Pasta was very good. Hopefully, they will improve over time
We think they have some work to do at Brandi. The service was not good. There just weren't enough servers on a Saturday night. To his credit, the manager began to help, but still it wasn't great. Pizza was ok, but crust not crisp enough. Maybe if it was served on a different type of plate, it wouldn't get soggy underneath.
Will try again, but we will wait a bit for them to get it together.
They have only been open for a few weeks so I withhold final judgement. We will definitely try again.
On this visit, we sat at the bar. My first 2 tap options were not available. Bartender was a little slow on the refills even though I was waving.
Fried calamari was soft and lacked flavor. Accompany diavolo sauce was loose and I needed to add crushed red peppers to spice it up. Wife had meatballs and loved them.
I had the pepperoni and sausage pizza. Crust was perfect. The rest was watery. After it set up for a few minutes it was edible and tasty. They need to work on the timing and temperature of their very pretty wood fired oven. Wife had margherita with added hot peppers and loved it.
The bar is pretty and comfortable. The food definitely has potential. We will try again in a few weeks. I hope they continue to improve because I like the menu and location.
Good luck to management. Feel free to contact me with questions.
Brandi is a remarkable Italian restaurant with a top menu, a superb host, Carlo and attentive staff. The menu is what you'd get in a top Italian restaurant in Italy, with a great selection of wines, beers and Italian cocktails. We had antipasto misto, calamari fritti and the a margherita pizza for appetizers, followed by skirt steak, and salmon as main course. We closed with pizza con Nutella. To due for
A good addition to port Chester dining. Good service and well prepared food. Pasta shared as as appetizer was excellent and the chicken scapierelo in white wine sauce a nice variation on the usual red sauce.
Excellent new find in PC. Pizzas were over the top good. Tried a few entrees which were also very good, but the pizzas are a standout. Friendly attentive service and a very nice atmosphere.
The pizza was good, but the service and other dishes could use some improvements.
In a town with lots of Italian restaurants, this new addition really stands out. The artisan pizzas are not to be missed, especially the Crema and the Margherita. The octopus appetizer is amazing, as is the cavatelli with sausage and broccoli rabe. In addition to the fabulous food, the restaurant space is beautiful, with a uptown NYC vibe without being pretentious -- great for dates or getting together with friends. The manager Carlo is the real deal -- a true professional who helped us with the menu, made fabulous suggestions, and returned often to make sure we were having a wonderful dinner. I will definitely be returning.
Not many diners when we went. Service was very friendly and quick. Pizza very good, although Margherita sauce was a tad tangy. Have to say table bread was stale. Many restaurants think you won't notice if table bread isn't good because its just an extra, but I feel it makes the first impression.
Our over all feeling for this restaurant was great food. We did feel a bit left out by our waiter, we had to as khim for a refill, we did not see much of him. We felt he had an eye for the bigger tables and the outdoor dining. Also other tables were offered after dinner cookies, not us. A bit disappointed in light of our 150.00 dinner bill for 2.
The pizza is delicious with slightly burnt crust. The manager, Carlo, is so friendly and attentive. He brought us a dessert sampler when he found out it was our anniversary.
