Sugar Snap Pea Salad
almond vinaigrette, mint, ricotta
Great! Beautiful space, kind servers, delicious food.
Anniversary - the server was excellent. She let us take our time and not rush our courses
Food was delicious! Waitress was great. A little pricey but, affordable.
Service was terrific! Outside seating was great. (Would have rated 5 stars, but one main came luke warm - all were tasty though.)
Service was fantastic!
Love Branch Line. Great food lovely atmosphere. I wouldn’t order the mussels though - bland but the snap pea salad is great.
We love Branch Line and always think it will be great, and every time we go it exceeds our high expectations. Tremendous service, delicious food, great atmosphere. All around awesome restaurant!
The food was quite good, especially the trout.
The only downside is that we had made an 8:30 reservation to sit outside on a Friday evening but still had to wait for at least 20 minutes despite being punctual about our reservation.
Snap pea salad is always delicious
My friend ordered the rainbow trout but was given the salmon
My first dinner experience at Branch Line and was thrilled with the food and service.
Excellent service by the Hostess and wait staff . The Hostess is so nice !
We had a server who was training who did an amazing job !
The food was just ok . The menu is limited in selection .
Overall, the quality of the entrees including the rotisserie chicken and NY strip were top notch and cooked very well with the chicken breast still being moist and the skin crispy.
However, there is one table outdoors near the electrical boxes and bus bucket carts that the hostess would try to sit diners at including us unsuccessfully when other tables were open outside. This isn't small as it is no ambiance to dine with a date or with friends and I am sure none of the host staff would chose to sit there themselves. I was also told by the staff to not go in and have a drink as the inside was full, however the bar was barely 1/2 full while waiting for a table. Again, not great for their business if that is the case.
Otherwise, the ambiance was fantastic, food delicious, service on point, and a good experience outside of the initial contact with the host stand and their initial attempt at seating.
We really enjoyed our meal at Branch Line. It is such a lovely, airy, outdoor setting. The food was delicious, and there were family friendly choices available for our children. We would definitely recommend Branch Line!
We love Branchline!! We relied on you throughout the pandemic (wearing heated vests in all kinds of weather) & it was a treat to see some of the staffs’ faces for the first time today!! Thank you so much for being here for us!!!
Everything was great. The turkey sandwich was no greAt. There were globs of fat
The waiter was both very pleasant and professional. The appetiser was delicious and the halibut dish was perfect. The shrimp risotto was far below mediocre. Not even sure which rice was used, highly doubtful it was arborio despite what was stated by the kitchen. The brownie sundae was great. Going back to the risotto, any readily prepared risotto like Alessi’s would have been much, much better. So, overall great service at the table, three dishes great and one dish, the risotto was extremely disappointing. Niles Helmboldt
Delicious. I had the piri piri chicken, which comes with garlic fries -- both were perfect.
My friends and I went here to celebrate a birthday and kick off a wedding planning weekend. The food and service were amazing, and we were pleasantly surprised when our server came over and offered complimentary drinks for our celebration! We chatted a bit with her about wedding dress shopping and felt very welcome. The outdoor seating is lovely. Masks were optional for vaccinated guests and we felt safe and distanced from other guests. The Mac and cheese side dish is massive - treat it as an entree. We had the gnocchi, haddock, and the shrimp risotto. All were wonderful!
Great outdoor space, wonderful food. Waiter Sean was attentive and knowledgeable about what is being served. Owner Garrett is very hands-on and seems to try to connect with every diner. Fresh, seasonal ingredients. Something for everyone.
Fantastic experience. Everything was perfect.
My wife, son, and I went to Branch Line for Lunch. The food we had was excellent, but the menu is fairly limited and they do not serve spirits (just wine and beer). They are famous for their rotisserie chicken, which is indeed excellent, but is a bit overpriced for what it is. I had the piri piri chicken, which was very good. My wife had their chicken sandwich, which was huge. We split a lemon sorbet and strawberry shortcake as dessert, which were also very good.
The space is beautiful, and they have a very inviting patio, as well. Parking is very easy as well. Unfortunately, our initial impression was marred by slightly off-putting service. Despite the indoor dining area being completely empty besides us, we were initially sat at a 2-person table that did not have any room for food once the dishes and glasses for 3 people were placed on it. We re-sat ourselves at a larger table, which normally we wouldn't do without talking to staff, but our initial hostess who sat us was clearly not very interested in us nor was our initial server (who, to be fair, seemed to have both indoor and outdoor responsibilities). We had a change in server in the middle of our lunch who was much brighter and more engaging, which really improved our experience.
Beer and wine selection only. Definitely missing out on the popularity among a good cocktail menu. Could be great for their business, as it would fit their aesthetic perfectly. Food is okay. Kinda bland. No seasoning but good idea and potential with dish options. Good for like a couple drinks and an app or two.
Delicious food, stellar service and adorable patio
We love Branch Line - have been going there regularly for over 5 years. what's not to like? Great food (their chicken is especially good); great beer - lots of interesting on tap stuff; friendly and attentive service, and a wonderful location.
when it gets crowded, as it is most nights, it is loud, so don't bring folks who have hearing problems here as they won't be able to communicate. But for everyone else, try the snap pea salad!
Our food was delicious! Maine mussels, spinach artichoke dip with fresh artichokes, short rib Ragu with pasta, burgers, shrimp risotto and fresh salads were our choices. Short cake and brownie sundaes were perfect special occasion desserts. The kind knowledgeable sommelier helped us navigate the interesting and affordable wine list! We now have new favorite. Thanks much Branch Line for a lovely dining experience.
Went for a graduation dinner. Everything was great!
Everything was great
The entire experience was great
Amazing as always! So nice to have so much outside seating
Just about perfect. Friendly fun staff. Food always the best. Great patio
Food was very good, nice outdoor seating. Service timing was off, but I think they have a lot of new staff.
Love the place... food, service and ambiance!
We love Branchline & visit often! When we arrived for this visit, it was a bit cold but we were prepared to sit outside to celebrate the beginning of summer & the hostess was happy to set us up in the gazebo! We had such fun sitting in the adirondack chairs, sipping a lovely red wine while enjoying our branchline brunch! Many, many thanks for both the wonderful meal and the fantastic service! Cheers to you!
Lovely outdoor seating area with California chic plantings. Food is HUGE and good value. Side salad is arugula with tomatoes, would be lovely with chicken added. Highly recommend!
Great food, lovely patio setting. Branch Line is a go-to for my husband and I.
Dining at Branch Line is really delightful, especially eating in their attractive outdoor space when the weather is warm. Staff are generally very attentive, without being overbearing. Food is uniformly good, and beer and wine selections are excellent. However, even when we make reservations through OpenTable we often have to wait several minutes until larger parties are seated before us, which is a little frustrating.
Sat outside, nice evening and great service. Food is always reliable. I was happy to see how busy the restaurant is, line out the door!
Branch Line is a lovely restaurant to eat outside. Very nice patio.
