Definitely not Tex-Mex. Weird menu. Food so so. Clearly a Tequila money grab.
Service was perfect thanks to Q. Food all tasted good. My coworkers and I were disappointed to see the current menu had 3 meat options (beef, pork, lamb) and 1 fried vegetable for tacos so no fish or poultry tacos. We got the salmon entree and tortillas to make our own but not ideal.
Nice place, you can see the boardwalk and ocean. Food very good. Service spot on.
We had an awesome experience at Branch Cantina! Our server Jared (I think?) was awesome and attentive. I got shrimp tacos and churros - no regrets! I can’t wait to return and try more items on the menu.
Street tacos were served very plain. Lots of meat but that’s it. Needs more attention to details. Service was terrible. 3 tables in the place and waitress was no where to be found.
Poor food and over priced nice view to the beach
Our server was awesome, he gave great recommendations, food was fantastic.
I took my niece to lunch. We sat outside and it was a perfect day. We ordered. About 10 minutes later my lunch came out but not my nieces. So we waited 20 minutes for hers and I ate mine cold. People go out to spend time together and share a meal. I left there feeling like I wasted $60. That includes top. I also had to ask two people for my check.
NOt a fan not worth the money and bland food, drinks were super strong
It was as expected. Food was ok, drinks ok, service ok. Location and looking at the ocean is the appeal. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful except for the hosts. Manager Karen was exceptional
Branch Cantina was great! The food and drinks were incredible (the nachos were delicious!) Our server on the patio was a very attentive and gave great recommendations - we can’t wait to be back!
Limited choices on the menu. The chicken tika tacos were good and had flavor. Wish there were more choices though. They also need to time the appetizer and meal better as everything came out at the same time. Also the menu on open table differed from what they had at the restaurant so they must have changed it recently.
Our dinner experience here was terrible. From the waitress to the drinks & the food. Nothing was amazing. I had to get up & go to another table that wasn’t occupied to get napkins because when asked she kept forgetting & we no longer wanted to wait, Asked 3 times for straws because that was also forgotten about, and even had to get up to get our utensils because she was too busy on her phone in the corner. Rarely got checked up on by the waitress, The drinks tasted water down. And the flavoring of the food was nothing that would make me go back. I definitely would not recommend especially if you’re looking for a good dining experience in pier village.
Food was mediocre. Ambiance and drinks were good.
Love New Menu!! Big improvement!!
Not happy that u can’t park in Hotel Lot for free anymore
Matt our server was wonderful. Drinks and food were delicious. Appreciated service, ease of making reservation, and food was excellent!
The location is lovely and the hostess and wait staff were so kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the menu is extremely limited but there appear to be some nice options, however, everything that was ordered was overly spicy. I do love spice but, the Tajin seasoning or whatever was used was overwhelming. The food was not enjoyable for this reason. It was a shame to spend $33 on skirt steak and rice that was barely touched because it was way too spicy and not good at all. The shrimp tacos were too spicy, the impossible chorizo was too spicy, even the guacamole had Tajin spice unnecessary sprinkled all over it. Such a shame. Drinks were ok.
Menu has changed for the worse when compared to the original menu in terms of both food and cocktails (puréed sugar instead of the former fresh fruit options). The service was downright terrible. Our waitress couldn’t remember anything we asked for; therefore, she couldn’t bring anything in a timely manner. She would have to come back to ask. Even the male who dropped off our food never came back with extra plates. We chose to have dinner there specifically for a special occasion and at the rate it’s going during peak summer time, we would never return.
Last year’s menu was changed. now there’s no fajitas, burritos, regality chicken or beef taco. Very limited menu. Ran out of corona on a Saturday night. Odd for a Mexican restaurant. Service was good, food and menu were a big disappointment so we won’t be going back. Used to love going there last year with a real Mexican menu
Great location with an amazing view of the ocean. The server was very friendly and tries her best at keeping us taken care of. The food is delicious but part of our order was messed up and never came. Other than that we will be back.
My favorite place to eat in Long Branch. The food is absolutely delicious. The drinks are tasty. Friendly staff.
Great drinks, awesome food, excellent service. Will definitely be going back!
Great Margaritas & Guacamole. Had mexican appetizers. Wonderful view!
Menu has changed dramatically ordered the shrimp tacos the only thing on the tortilla was three pieces of shrimp and a small amount of red cabbage not worth $16. They change their margaritas really miss the pineapple spicy margarita not worth the money save your money
Great ambiance. Great food and excellent margaritas.
Our server was absolutely wonderful. The chips and guac were great and so were the margaritas... the street tacos were a bit disappointing though. I got the carnitas and the pork was greasy and made the tortillas soggy... my mom got the camaron and they tasted good but were lacking in toppings like lettuce and tomato or a sauce. The food could have been better, and we were rather disappointed with it, but our waiter was great (I think his name was Josh)
Prices are just way too high for mediocre mexican. Extremely limited menu but $22 fajitas which only include grilled onions & peppers? Rice - Extra $4, Beans - Extra $4 Guac - Extra $5Chicken - Extra $6 ! by the time you're done you're paying i$41.00 for Chicken Fajitas - come on guys - this isn't gourmet by any means. Very disappointed. When they opened their menu was way more reasonable and better tasting. Now it's just a tourist rip off for the great view of the ocean. Sorry - won't be going back!
The food was bland. All sides are extra and there is no salsa offered. 3 of us ordered street tacos and one drink each and the bill was $130!
Staff very friendly. Last year I came here and we got quesadillas. This year their menu was cut back not many selections and many items on their website are not available now. You have tortillas and cheese already for the other meals why not keep the things people like the most? $28 for a shrimp fajita. I totally understand that things are more expensive now and I don’t mind shelling out for excellent food but the quality was not on par with the prices.
Excellent drinks and entrees!!
Food was amazing, good and quick service, and a great location away from the chaos of pier village!
For the price food was mediocre at best.
The service was good. The food was okay. Everything was a la carte. Had to pay $4 extra for each side of rice and another $4 for beans. We asked to sit outside and was told was full but the whole time we ate inside the tables outside were empty. It was very cold inside the restaurant as the music was very loud. Not my first choice for places to eat in Long Branch.
Servers and the hostess were very friendly. They were a bit short staffed so they didn’t have time to check on us during our meal (we were missing place settings, refills on water needed, etc). Food arrived fresh and very quickly! The overall quality and taste of the dishes were very good. We would definitely dine there again!
This our 4th visit and each time we have absolutely loved the fresh and perfectly spiced Mexican food, delicious cocktails and exceptional service. Our server San was attentive and the guy who brought our food from the kitchen was excellent and quickly bought out more guac for our meals. The view of the ocean from the outside seating is spectacular too!
Food was terrible, over seasoned and lack of choices on menu!
How can you call yourself a Mexican cantina and not offer traditional franchise Mexican dishes such as; quesadilla, chimichanga, burritos, etc. drink prices are ridiculously over priced!
went for dinner after a long day at the beach and it hit the spot! their summer smash is so good and would definitely recommend it, especially after a long day of tanning!
Great view. Good place after the beach
Waited 35 and only received a glass of water. They are under
