    We celebrated our anniversary at Branca and we were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed by smiling staff, and taken to our table in a lovely covered courtyard. Anaya, our server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was excellent quality and beautifully presented, and the wine list was varied and accessible. We shared the goats cheese salad to start, which was fresh and vibrant. For main, I had the sea bass with new potatoes, samphire and saffron cream sauce which was such a fantastic classic flavour combo. My husband had the duck special with gnocchi, which was cooked to perfection. We couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant for our celebration. Thank you Branca, we will be back!

    Fantastic service with helpful staff, lovely seasonal selection of food and drink with complimentary bread and prosecco for special events. Restaurant was light, spacious and clean and was overall a fantastic dining experience out.

    Lovely quiet Sunday evening at Branca, enough other diners for a good ambience, cool music in the background, excellent service and really delicious lamb kebabs. Perfect!

    Great food. Great service . Located in Jericho , Oxford , a great location . We were there early lunch ( pre theatre ) so fairly quiet . Got busier as we we were leaving . Highly recommended.

    Excellent evening at Branca - first time for both of us. Excellent service. Great to be able to have a conversation rather than shout over music. Food well cooked and presented. Good casual dining experience with friendly staff.

    Sadly this was a very disappointing meal on this occasion. Branca was chosen for birthday treat for my mother (94) as it had been reliable before and had some good, and well cooked dishes. The service was adequate but lacked care or interest which was surprising given the time of our visit (5pm) and that I had said in advance and when the waiter came to the table, that it was a birthday meal. Our favourite prawn linguine which we have eaten several times before was not good. The flavour was poor, lacking the nuances of previous versions and the prawns themselves lacked flavour and had a slightly dry and almost chalky texture....edible, just not good. Another member of our party had the lamb kebab. The dish looked good but the meat was cold and lacked flavour . The hummus also lacked flavour and the texture suggested insufficient chickpea content. The sea bass was probably the best dish on the table and fortunately the one my mother had. Although the sauce was rather thick and glutenous, the fish was well cooked and tasty. Of the desserts, the ice cream (stem ginger and vanilla) came out on top. The chocolate nemesis was heavy and did not have a strong chocolate flavour. Only one person had a starter, the fish platter. This dish was adequate but somewhat confused by ill matched accompaniments which did not enhance the dish. The Chenin Blanc was ok but lacked flavour and was inferior to the Chenin blanc drunk a few days before at a neighbouring establishment for a similar price. Branca is usually a fun place to eat tasty food but perhaps it is now better to stick to the very salads and pizza etc on offer in the Branca Deli .

    We went for a meal to celebrate our anniversary. It was a wonderful evening in an outside walled eating area. Climbing Hydrangea and Wisteria curtained the space. The food, service and ambiance were wonderful. We’ll celebrate our next anniversary there too!

    Fabulous evening at Branca, celebrating my daughter’s graduation. Food was delicious, staff so accommodating and lovely. Lovely atmosphere, very relaxed. Thanks lots!
