Bramley is a neighbourhood restaurant nestled in the heritage town of Abbeyleix.
Husband & wife; Sam & Emily Moody undertook a careful and considered refurbishment of this historic space to create a relaxed-elegant dining room re-capturing the historic feel of this beautiful building.
I the kitchen we celebrate Irish food using the very best of Laois’ larder & exceptional Irish suppliers. The menu is simple, seasonal, exciting and diverse.
Everybody is welcome to dine at Bramley; a friendly, relaxed & knowledgeable team allow guests to enjoy an at-ease Lunch or Dinner experience.

    The food was not great.my mother and I had the trout special.the potatoes were lukewarm and tasted like they were reheated,Even my mother’s cappuccino wasn’t hot enough.My husband had spaghetti bolognese which he said was stodgy and the sauce tasted processed like it came out of a jar. Overall a very disappointing culinary experience for a lovely place with very attentive staff.Would not encourage us to revisit.

    We really enjoyed our experience. Diverse menu beyond the usual fare you can get everywhere. Food is delicious, service excellent and then when the bill comes it actually quite reasonable.

    Fantastic evening, not our first visit and will be back again. Tasting menu was varied and kitchen happy to make some substitutes for those that didn't want fish or had allergies. Staff really welcoming and made our night feel special as we celebrated a birthday. Thank you to the team at Bramley!

    Our experience was wonderful in every way. This is a special place, made so by the chef, his wife and the staff. We liked it so much we went back the next day.
