    Our first time to Braised Kitchen and it’s now one of our favorites. My wife has a gluten allergy and this is one of the only restaurants where everything is gluten free. Everything tasted amazing. We loved the lobster Mac n cheese and the marshmallow cake! Can’t wait to go back

    2nd time here and this time for their first crack at brunch. Been searching long and hard for a decent brunch place and I think Braised is just that. Full bar and a great variety of options for food. The whole staff is very attentive and make sure there is nothing lacking during your entire experience.

    Service extremely slow and we arrived before the crowd. My food came out stone cold and I did mention it to server, but I wasn’t going to wait for them to heat up as it should have come out right at the onset. Waited forever to pay the check and waitress never returned so we paid with cash and left it at hostess stand. Not a good first time experience, not a good celebration of my dads 92nd bday. Will not go back. Drove from Fresno not worth the drive. Over priced and under whelmed.

    It was the second time in a few weeks that we we went. The first time my wife had the salmon and it was excellent . I had the surf and turf, large cubes of pork belly with an extra large shrimp atop them. Incredible with no fat at all. The gazpacho is a favorite summer soup of mine, and it was beautiful. Our second time she had a pizza and it was very good. I had the surf and turf again, and was just as good as the first time. We will certainly be back, a bit pricey for us, but wonderful food and service.

    Absolutely fabulous food in a space that is much nicer than what the outside of the building it’s in would suggest. Our server was very nice and informative but was bordering on inattentive at times. Minor gripe as the quality and presentation of the food was outstanding. Not sure where there is better food to be had in the area and has surpassed The Elderwood in Visalia as the best restaurant in these parts.

    Awesome! Loved it! We ordered the surf & turf small plate, the roasted beet salad, the French onion soup, the braised short ribs, rack of lamb, and Vava’s rice pudding for dessert! All delicious.

    Great unique menu and well presented. Our server was excellent as was the rest of the crew working there. A notch well above other restaurants in Tulare County. Will definitely be back to sample most of the other menu items.

    First time there, we will definitely go back. The entrées (halibut and salmon) were quite good and worth every penny. Their version of Caesar salad is very little like a true Caesar, but it’s fair to good its own right, if just a tad small for the money. We enjoyed the by-the-glass sauvignon blanc. Although it took us slightly longer than expected to get seated (even with a reservation), the service was fast, perhaps slightly too fast. I hadn’t even gotten halfway through my relatively small salad before the entrée made its way home. Being served too quickly is usually not a problem in today’s restaurants. We did feel just a bit rushed by that, but the servers were very friendly and pleasant. The only things that brought the evening down a notch were (1) the fact that a place is very, very loud— for some odd reason, people in California seem to think that the louder a restaurant is, the better; and (2) my cocktail, which included tonic water, had not one bubble. Although tasty, the tonic water was completely flat. Of interest is the fact that virtually everything served there is gluten-free (except the empañadas and, I presume, the tiny rolls that came out first), and all dishes are prepared with very low sugar content. This is a forward-thinking and welcome approach. Despite the slight downsides noted, we are very pleased with this establishment and look forward to meeting friends there in the near future. We noted that they will have a revised menu starting next week; they have already dropped the Chilean sea bass option — and it will be interesting to see what else they change and what marvelous things they might add. If things go well enough for them, it would be great if they could take over a bit of the adjacent patio space and put some outdoor tables there, perhaps with appropriate screens and misters, similar to the setup at Fresno’s Cracked Pepper restaurant.

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at Braised Kitchen and wanted to share my overall experience. The restaurant left a lasting impression on me with its exceptional food and amazing staff, although there was one aspect that affected my enjoyment—the noise levels caused by a large party and the restaurant's poor acoustics. Every dish we tried was prepared with utmost care and attention to detail. The flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. The chef's expertise shone through in plating and every bite. Equally impressive was the restaurant's staff. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles. The servers were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the menu offerings. Although I enjoyed my visit, I encountered one negative aspect - the restaurant's poor acoustics and the noise level generated by the large party. Unfortunately, the noise from the nearby table made it challenging to engage in conversations with my dining companions. It seemed that the sound reverberated throughout the space due to the restaurant's acoustics, amplifying the noise levels even further. This detracted from the otherwise enjoyable dining experience. It would be beneficial for Braised Kitchen to address this issue by implementing sound-absorbing materials or rearranging the seating arrangement to mitigate the noise. Despite the noise issue, I would still highly recommend Braised Kitchen for its exceptional food and wonderful staff. The quality of their dishes and the genuine hospitality of their team make it a dining destination worth visiting. It is my hope that the restaurant makes efforts to improve its acoustics so that all guests can fully enjoy the culinary experience without being disturbed

    This was our first time dining at Braised and it was great. The portions were perfect and the service was excellent. We decided to get dessert and we were not disappointed with the Carrot Cake. It was delicious. We will for sure be back.

    Everything was fantastic French Onion soup is off the charts. Sea bass was cooked perfectly and must have been 10-12 oz huge piece of fish. Chicken Marsala was one of the best I’ve had. Lemon Tart for dessert was excellent.. Five stars!!

    It is very loud. If you are seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant it is going to be very difficult to carry on a conversation. The food was good and the gluten-free items were a pleasant surprise. We will go back.

    My new fav night out restaurant/bar and so excited they are in our sweet town of Tulare! Love the menu options, decor/layout, quality of food, service and everyone we encountered were soooo nice. It was such a pleasant evening with delishous food and drinks. Yes, it's a bit pricey but I don't mind paying for a classy alternative in our sweet city. We had the Salmon Cerviche to start. (Appetizer special). Really great flavor and nice summertime addition. Then we split the Beet Salad w/goat cheese and the Lamb Lollypops. The salad had a generous portion of beets and the dressing was spot on. I could have used a bit more goat cheese but it could be that I'm obsessed with goat cheese. I'll ask for more next time. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the had a really yummy crunchy coating. We decided on the Strawberry Fizz 🍓 for our cocktail and it did not disappoint. I heard the Berry cocktail is a good one too. Overall.. there is nothing like this restaurant anywhere in the Central Valley and I look forward to supporting them and trying everything in the menu!
