Restaurant was located
Right in the lobby of the hotel - not very private for the prices they charged. Food was good however. I just expected a nicer ambience.
Food took a very long time to be served and had to send several items back.
Thanksgiving. It was a really nice experience and the food was great!
We attended the Thanksgiving buffet and were surprised to see the wonderful array of foods. The taste and quality of the meal was very good and what we expected because we have been eating at the Marriott for holidays and other occasions for around 30 years.
Unfortunately the dining room was very cold and we told 6 different staff members including the manager. The manager was not very nice and just made excuses.
We heard other people complaining and many diners were wearing their coats while dining. We had to keep our coats on, as well, and at one point I even put gloves on. It was not pleasant to have to eat a meal feeling cold and uncomfortable and for the price we paid we expected it to feel warm and cozy in the dining area. When we complained to one staff member in particular the comment she made was "Oh well, we'll make sure it's warmer next year". Next year??? We're here this year! So instead of remembering the excellent food and good service, we think of Thanksgiving at the Marriott as cold and uncomfortable.
It seemed that when we complained the staff they all acted disconnected and even though they apologized they did nothing.
We were there for the Thanksgiving Buffet. It was very nice. My only suggestion to the staff would be to keep the covers on the food on to help keep the good warm. They seemed to be constantly going around and opening the covers. Other than that, it was great.
Service was great, food was terrible!!
We had the Asian Influenced Wednesday Menu which was delicious. Everyone must try the pork steam buns! All food sourced with local ingredients.
We enjoyed our food. The service was just super slow.
I was very disappointed. I thought that there would be a Father's Day brunch because there had been a Mother's Day brunch, but no such luck. I guess Father's don't warrant the same treatment????
Busy, loud, understaffed. What a mess. I imagine Braise may be OK at times other than Mothers Day/Graduation weekend. No host, understaffed, confused struggle to have a pleasant brunch.
Food was OK.
We had a 6:30pm reservation for 8. We were seated at 6:20pm, waitress showed up 10 minutes later and went to get us some water. One of the glasses had lipstick marks all over the rim. She took our drink order at 6:40. My husband noticed that our drinks were sitting at the end of the bar for over 5 minutes. At 6:50 they were still sitting there. At 6:55, with not drinks we decided to leave. There were only 3 other occupied tables in the restaurant so no reason for the poor service. I should have known better when they had so many available times for such a busy weekend (graduation and mothers day weekend). The service and food at Yardhouse was great.
The service was horrible...Our table was not ready when we arrived...Once we were seated the table was still dirty...The coffee cups that were placed on the table were awful...One cup had lipstick on the cup, 3 other cups had brown coffee ring Mark's inside...When I asked for assistance one guy immediately got an attitude and asked if we had reservations...Highly disappointed and will not be returning
the food was not as good as I had anticipated but the location was convenient
Great service, super personal and friendly. I really enjoy having quick breakfast here. Full buffet service is a plus.
Food was okay. Wait staff was very nice and friendly but short-staffed so took quite awhile to get our food and drinks. Atmosphere was nice. I honestly don’t plan to return though
We chose Braise for a family Thanksgiving meal. the host was friendly, the waiter efficient and friendly and the food cook. In our group we had a vegan, vegetarian, family cooking lover, and meat lover so your buffet met all our needs. I had used the Marriott in years past for special events but had not come for almost 10 years. Even though the menu and venue had changed, the service and meal was still very good.
Thanks for a happy Thanksgiving afternoon.
This was a very disappointing experience. Would never dine there again. Food on Buffet was cold and hard. Service was almost non existent. Coffee cups were filthy as was the Silverware. Marriott has certainly let this facility run down.
Blandess food I’ve ever tasted. I typically don’t do hotel restaurants, but the menu had some unique items. I tried the Mushroom Mac - portion was good, the food was not.
This is a hotel eating area that has open seating and does NOT take reservations.
